After resetting your password have you tried logging out of your account on your phone by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then logging back in to see if that 'refreshes' the account on it and if it then works ?

I have changed my password and still can't get home sharing to work. Get the message "Home sharing could not be activated because the account or password was incorrect." It's what I have used to sign in here! Any help much appreciated.
So I reset my Apple ID password. Which then stopped my MobileMe account from working. Hang on - these were 2 different accounts a while ago, with different passwords!!!
So I have logged back in to MobileMe with my AppleID, and that's working again. After a short wait I can now create Home Sharing again.
Folks, I think we have just had our Apple IDs merged with our MobileMe accounts!! With no consultation or warning.
My guess is that this is the most seamless way for Apple to do it, as the vast majority of people use only one email address and one password for everything. Only those of us who had the same email adress but different a different passwords for MobileMe and Apple ID will have noticed. Annoying for us few, but a clever strategy on Apple's part, becasue we have been driven to fix the issue ourselves by chaning the password, and in doing so we have realised that our mobileme account is now the same thing as our Apple ID. -
I have an Iphone4s when I try to download and app I keep entering my apple id password & it will not accept it. I even went to the trouble of setting a new one up but still no luck please help
Whats the full message that are you seeing on your phone's screen, and does your account work on your computer's iTunes for downloading items (e.g. if you select a free app can you 'buy' it) ?

I have yet to be able to update to 5.1.1. It will not down load to my iTunes either. My iPad comes back with an undesignated error, saying it cannot update.

Try force quitting the app...
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button down for a few seconds until a red slider appears, then press and hold the Home button until the app quits. -
I'm trying to down load Logic Pro 9. But there seems to be noyhing logical about the error code 100 I keep getting. Any help would be GREATLY appricated I just want to start recording some of my own music.

- Sign out from the Mac App Store. You can do it by accessing the “Quick Links” section in the Mac App Store homepage and clicking on “Account”. Sign out.
- Quit the Mac App Store app.
- Log out from your computer; log in again.
- Open the Mac App Store, sign in with your Apple ID, try to download a free app and accept the Terms and Conditions when asked. After that, the download should start.
- If a logout doesn’t fix the issue, restart your Mac instead. We’re hearing that a reboot fixed the problem for many users. -

Thanks for the question. I understand that you are experiencing issues opening iTunes for Windows. Let’s try completely removing iTunes and all related components and then re-installing from Apple’s website:

You can only purchase from a particular country's App Store if you have a registered credit card in that country and if that credit card is tied to a physical address in that country. So unless you have a credit card in Spain registered to an address in Spain, you can't buy from their App Store.
If you meet the criteria and you need to change the store that you are currently in....
Go to Settings>iTunes and App Stores>Apple ID
Tap your ID
Tap View Apple ID
Enter your password
Go to country/region in the popup window to change the store -

Boot into your Mavericks Recovery partition by hold down the command and R keys whilst booting. You'll see a screen that looks like this:
Click on the Disk Utility item to open Disk Utility. You should see your boot drive (usually named "Macintosh HD" unless you've changed it) in the column on the left of the screen. Select your boot partition and click on the "Verify" button. Let your Mac do it's thing - if you get green text telling you that everything seems to be OK, then your disk should not be damaged. If, however, you get red text telling you that the disk needs to be repaired, click on the "Repair" button. If the disk can be repaired, you should be good to go. If the disk cannot be repaired then the drive is damaged.
But before you do anything, make certain that you have backups!!!

This is what I posted on May 15th and it worked like a charm:
Just got off the phone with Apple Support. I have been working on this same issue for 2 weeks now. I was told to go to www.apple.com/support/itunes. Then under "Get Customer Service" choose ITunes Store Account and Billing. Then choose "Managing your account" option. You will see an option where you can email, choose this. This brings up a form that you need to fill out and submit. Just tell them that you have reviewed your account (assuming you have) and you see no fraudulent activities. Then ask them to enable your account. You should have your account enabled within 24 hours.......at least that is what I was told. I just filled out the form and submitted it. -
