Can you see a serial number anywhere? Don't post it here, just let me know if if you have it.

Appleworks will only print one page at a time, please help!

no matter how many times I ask the printer to print ALL pages, it will only print one at a time, so I have to manually print page 18, 17, etc....
Could this be because the pages are arranged left to right? that would seem strange.
also, I cannot find a function to re-arrange the pages. for example, i want to re-organize to make page 18 at the front as page 1. I just don't get it though I've searched the program.

My memory says the same as Yvan's.
If the printer dialogue has a checkbox labeled "Collate", make sure the box is checked, even if you are printing a single copy. If memory serves, this suggestion was made in connection with HP printers.
A second possible solution is to specify the page range when printing this document (or others that exhibit this problem). (eg. for a 25 page document specify printing From page 1 To page 25.) You might try specifying p. 1 to p. 99 for any document under 100 pages, although I don't know what effect this would have for a 5 page doc.

Lost Admin Account - Only Standard ones remain... Please Help!
Okay this one is a real kicker, About 10 months ago I helped a friend upgrade their iMac 1.6 G5 to Leopard. All went well and they installed all the updates etc.
A few month ago the Logic Board failed and they got a local Apple Engineers firm to replace the new logic board. They did this and the machine runs fine... however.
They now want help setting up a time machine drive, but... and here is comes... the accounts on the machine... all of them are Standard accounts. None of them are Administration accounts.
So the time machine setting are locked, I click the padlock to unlock and I get prompted for admin Username and Password... both fields are blank. SO I check in the Accounts settings to find that both Users on the machine are Standard and neither have Admin writes.
I can only presume that the company that replaced the logic board, created a new admin account, reset the other accounts to standard, did the work, then deleted the Admin account they created and forgot to reset the Standard accounts back to admin (I have spoken them and they deny all knowledge). before giving it back to my friend.
Is there anyway to find out what the Admin account details are...? Or maybe even root details... (in terminal) so I can at least unlock the User control panel and reset the user accounts back to admin.
Please help with this one... I didn't even know it was possible to run a MAc without an admin account?!Then, try the steps in http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1274 and http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1323191 If nothing there works, then your only solution is to make copies of the Users and Applications folders to another disk, wipe the current one, reinstall the OS, create a new admin user account, use the migration assistant to transfer the Users to the machine, change their status to admin, ensure that works, and delete the new account. Do the same with the Applications or reinstall them. Once you sort things out, make a bootable backup/clone on an ext HD so this never occurs again.

I'm having troubles with my iMessage. Every I text people when I have iMessage (Internet) it always shows up as my email. Never my number, whenever people text me it goes to my text messages (green) please help. It doesn't even give me the option of "Start new conversation from" because it won't let me click on my number when it says "Address". I need to prevent this ASAP!

I have imported some Cds, they play fine on the computer. When i sleect them to go on my iphone they never show up, this whole icloud set up for music is really annoying. i wish itunes woudl go back to the way things were, a simple click on a song/album/artist and boom, theyre on your ipod. now you have to finish a maze, get a masters degree, and then solve three riddles before you even can import something from a recently imported CD.
Have you tried deleting the songs from Settings?
Settings -> General -> Usage -> Manage Storage (not the iCloud link!) -> Music and then click Edit to enable you to be able to delete. -

help! imovie media browser only has one option, "Mobile". other videos had option for medium and small. mobile option wont import into iDVD. other videos gave me the Medium option, why not this one? need answers ASAP!
That is your answer then.
Large is 960x540
Medium is 640x480 (or 720x480)
Mobile is probably 480x272.
It is offering you the sizes that make sense given the size of your source material.
As a trick, you might try this. In your project, put a short 640x480 clip in the project as the first clip of the project. Then keep the rest of the project as is. See if it will let you share now in Medium. It will not look as good, because there are not enough pixels to cover the Medium size, but it might work. -
My TV is mounted on a wall so I can't connect the Apple TV device. Is it possible to connect to an HD Cable Box and send signal to TV that way? Other problem is that Box only has one HDMI socket so would also have to use a splitter. Tried Apple Support but couldn't offer a solution. I can't be the only person with this issue surely?
Help!No, unless you are using a home theatre system already, your only option is to connect to the TV.

My mac, is stuck on the grey startup screen. I have tried everything that everyone has said. Yes, I have reset the PRAM, I have tried a safe reboot, I'm NOT resetting it! It just won't start up, I have a seagate 3TB backup drive, but I have no way to get inside the computer, so I can't activate it.

Well that presents a problem because you need to check the startup disk, repair the disk if necessary, or restore OS X using OS X Recovery
You can resstore from a Time Machine backup using OS X Recovery if necessary. -

Default Film script should still be the same. So first verify this by creating a new Film script with the default Film script template. (it should be in default formatting)
Now to change the template of the affected document, open Edit > Template option.
In the 'Select Template' dropdown, select 'Film Template' and click on OK.
If you still face this issue, you can 'Import' a template from your disk.
- download the default template that is attached in this post. ( Template file is inside the '.zip' attachment. So you need to unzip the downloaded file first)
- open the template dialog and click on Import button and select the downloaded file. -

I just received a new mac and I am trying to sync my ipod to it but everytime I try it stays stuck on the "backing up" section of the sync. I have already unauthorized my other computers like the instructions said to but that did nothing. Please tell me what I should do or how to back up my device.

I changed itunes options the other day to only synch one playlist and now when I open itunes I can't access my library or any playlists.
I think I fixed this problem a few years ago by literally copying and pasting all my audio content into the iTunes library folder. I can't remember what is called of the top of my head and I don't know if this will still work.

my 27 inch 2011 iMac is not boting up, the cumputer is stuck on a grey screen with no apple logo or spinnign wheel. The iMac is not giving power to the keyboard as it is not ligthing up the caps lock botton when pressed.
