If a phone is sold from one friend to another and wants to use it on a different carrier the friend can contact the carrier it was sold by to request it unlocked. I know AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint will give you the steps to unlock it as long as the original contract it was bought under has been completed. eBay/Craigslist is really not the best place to try to get "unlocked phones" from, if it turns out the phone isn't unlocked then I'm really sorry you got stuck with that one and as stevejobsfan said above I would report them immediately and see if you can recover your money. Hi Try the number 0000 or 1234 If this doesn't work ask for a PUCK code from your sim provider Also try the Passcode you use when you turn iPad on Its a good think to have a simlock because if you lose your iPhone /iPad someone can use your Simcard If it's not got a lock on. Cheers Brian

Hi Guys, I really need your help.
I want to buy the new iPhone 4S in the USA, I'm living in Israel and it will take a long time until the iPhone 4S will released here.
So my question is that, If I'll but the iPhone 4S in the US will it work in Israel becuase I noticed at Apple iPhone 4S event that is a "Worldwide Phone".
Is that right and I can bring it here just to insert my Orange Sim card and it will work without breaking it.

I have just purchased the new macbook pro 15" and see that it comes with 2 discs in the box, one being Mac OS X and the other being Applications Install DVD. Are these pre installed? or do I need to insert the discs and install them?
All has been installed. Those are there in case you need to do a reinstall. Unlike most Windows based hardware vendors these days. Apple still ships software you might need in case a drive fails. Even in the case of the new MacBook Air, Apple ships the software on a flash drive.

No, this canot be done, afaik. When your camera or card is connected, you will see the thumbnails in the camera pane, but not full size preview. So to browse your photos on the iPad you will need to import them to your camera roll. But you need not delete them from the camera or card after importing, so you might simply import selected photos to your camera roll from the camera grid and then delete them again from the camera roll after importing and browsing, without removing them from the card/camera.

I have just purchased a new iMac and this is all new to me as it is so different from my PC. I am trying to transfer my iTunes from my PC onto the iMac, I have got as far as pasting the itunes music folder onto the desktop but I cant seem to transfer that into iTunes on my iMac. Can anyone help me out with this?

I have just purchased a new iMac OS Xlion version 10.7.3 and I'd like to install Windows. I have a disc for XP but the Boot Camp Assistant manual only refers to Windows 7. Please does anyone know if it will it work with XP.?
Get a Virtual Macine software program, Parallels, VMware Fusion or VirtualBox, and install XP in a virtual machine.
You can't install XP in a Boot Camp Partition with Lion or Mt Lion, only Win 7. -
Arghh!! I am literally about to throw my new iPad out of a window - apple is driving me beyond crazy. I have an old iTunes account to which all my music is saved. I have just created a new apple id and want that to be the one that my iTunes account references - it won't let me change my old email to this as it says my new apple I'd is sychd to another account. How do I do it? Am desperate!
Delete them and then download them from the desired Apple ID. This may require repurchasing paid applications.

Copy your ENTIRE iTunes FOLDER to an External Drive... and then from the External Drive to your New Computer..
