My son's friend used his ipod and now he is missing certain accessories such as itunes, app store, safari, camera, face time, etc. How do we get these back?

If they were on the iPod before then there are two possibilities:
- They were moved to a screen where you just can't find the. Have you tried using the Spotlight search to find them?
- They are hidden by Restrictions. Go to Settings>General>Restrictions. It is passcode protected, it you do not know the passcode you have to :
- Restore the iPod from a backup that does not contain the Restrictions, or
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod.

What do you mean by 'refusing from the system', if you are getting an error message then what does it say ?
For a credit card to have a chance of being accepted it needs to be registered to the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, and have been issued by a bank in the country where you and your iTunes account are. If it is and if you are getting a 'declined' message then you could check with the card issuer to see if it's them that are declining it, and if not then try contacting iTunes Support (these are user-to-user forums) and see if they know why it's being declined : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
If when trying to download you are getting a message about a 'problem with a previous purchase' then that implies that iTunes wasn't able to collect the money for your last purchase. How do you file a complaint with the App store?

Does anyone know how to file a complaint with the app-store people? This may sound really childish but PlayFirst has a series of games called Dream Chronicles available in the app store. They're listed as free then in the description they tell you of course you can "try it free then download the full version from inside the game". Recently they released Dream Chronicles: The Eternal Maze available for "free" in the app store with no mention of the "try it free then download the full version from inside the game". It may be petty but I consider this false advertising since their other games tell you it's not the full game.

If you google "zynga mobile fraud" then you will get a lot of information on "zynga mobile".
You need to stop all payments to Zynga they are causing the apps store to cheat your customers.

I believe my son has inadvertently made in app purchases which are adding up to a huge sum on my bank statement. I can not get in touch with the Itunes help folks to confirm what all these purchases are and can't find them via Itunes or the App store on my phone.

Go to itunes --> on top nav, select app store --> Look for "purchased" on the right rail menu under APP STORE QUICK LINKS. That will take you to the "Purchased" page. You can search by "All" or by "Not on This Computer" (I looked something up on my comptuer... so I can also search what applications were downloaded from iPhone, another computer or iPad). The dates and prices of the apps are NOT listed there. Hope that helps.

I've had this problem many times and eventually it would just work out after a week or so but I'm tired of that so here's what happens: I use prepaid credit cards for iTunes (I've also used a real credit card and had the same problem) and when they max out or run out of funds it will ask me to verify my payment information. So I sign in and it takes me to the page to update the info I update it to make sure there wasn't just an error and if it says something is wrong I know it's maxed/out of funds. And I'm not allowed to download any apps (including free ones and updates for apps I already own) while this happens. There is no option to remove my payment option, before after about a week of continuously returning to the payment page everytime I try to download/update an app a "none" option will appear below the VISA, MASTERCARD and AMEX credit card type however the option is never there for around the first week and is very frustrating. So how do I get the none option to appear ? Or remove a used/maxed credit/pre paid credit card ?

OK. The easy explanation:
Mac OS X is a UNIX based operating system and like all other UNIX operating systems, its usage is controlled by permissions. Which user has some, all or no permission to read, write to and otherwise modify files and folders. Applications also have or do not have certain permissions.
In Mac OS X "Library" folder is a sub folder called "Receipts". When software is installed using Apple's Installer application it deposits a .pkg file in Receipts, containing information about the software and what it's permissions should be.
If for some reason those permissions are corrupted or changed to something they should not be, using Disk Utility to repair permissions compares what the current permissions are with the information contained in the .pkg files. Should Disk Utility find differences, it uses the information to correct those permissions.
Disk Utility does not repair permissions on applications that are installed via another routine, such as a custom installer or drag and drop. Neither does it repair permissions on any files or folders that you create.

Connect your iPod to any computer with iTunes installed, highlight your device and try syncing the apps only. If it doesn't work might have to restore through iTunes. With the new iTunes and iCloud beta, you can have the iTunes list what apps are missing on your device but if you had previously purchased in the past and then have iTunes install them. You should always get in the habit of backing up your iPhone whenever you do any firmware/OS updating/upgrading or transferring over to new device. I really really really really hope you can get back at least some of your old info. I will tell you this, I have been kicking myself in the butt for not routinely backing up my iPhone when my beautiful special iPhone 4 came up missing and had to revert back to my 3GS. iPhone 5 will be released in a few months so I am holding off on purchasing a new iPhone til then, not that I did so without reservation and a little bit of iPhone 4 withdraw.

You do not have to move it as such. Here are the steps to setup HomeSharing
1) Ctrl B to turn on the top menu
2) File > Home Sharing > Create Home Share enter your apple id and password, click create
3) repeat steps 1 and 2 for the other computer and create home share using the same apple id and password
On your new machine if you have turned on the left hand sidebar the Shared Library should be about halfway down like this.
Select the songs you want and click import at the bottom right. If you want all songs then I would select one song nad Ctrl A to select all
Finally if you have a lot of songs to transfer Switch off the wifi on the old computer. Leave the wifi on the new one. Connect with an ehternet network cable. The copying speed is way faster.
Click import and grab a coffee
