Trying to install the new itunes update and it keeps saying error could not install itunes. Currently I am running windows 7. Any advise to fix this problem. I downloaded the 4.0 version of firefox but when it finished and I tried to open it it told me "You cannot use the Application Firefox with this version of Mac OS X" ...okay so I didnt know that- it just told me to download it. PLEASE HELP!!! Somehow my entire iTunes library got deleted, and I cannot sync all my music that I put on from cd's (which I no longer have). All the purchased music has been synced, but nothing else! All my other devices are synced with iCloud and lost the material as well ... Yeah, I have to agree with RoamingGnome...this sounds like more of a Jailbreak issue, not an Apple issue. If you bought this phone from a legal distributor and just haven't upgraded your iOS since 3.1.2, I'd contact the place where you purchased it. If you Jailbroke or bought it Jailbroken to get it Unlocked to use with any carrier, my best solution would be to search the net. I'm pretty sure there is a current Jailbreak for up to iOS 5.1.1, but I'm not really up to date with that information. I do know that you can legally now purchase a factory unlock from Apple, but I'm not sure if that's only with new purchases or if you can buy an Unlock for an older phone.
My best solution would be to search your phone revision & iOS online and you should get what you're looking for. Sometimes you can even just search YouTube and they'll have a step-by-step video showing you exactly how to do whatever you might need to get up & running again.
It's pretty rough being without a cellphone, especially if it's your only communication device. Hopefully this at least pointed you in the proper direction. -

My airport extreme (generation 5) was set up using wifi and has worked flawlessly (on macbook pro 2 iphones and window 7 HP pc)until recently. I have reset to factory defaults over and over but still cannot get on the internet. However I can then take my DSL cord and insert it in a different Ethernet port other than the WAN port and I can get internet on my Mac and iphones but only wifi on my husband's PC. I hate to spend another $179 if this is just something I'm doing wrong. Please help
I'm having a bit of trouble confirming that the ZyXEL is a combination modem & wireless-N router. If it is, then you really won't get any advantages of using the 802.11g AirPort.
If the range of your ZyXEL is limited, you may find that doing either or both of the following will help: 1) Move the ZyXEL so that it is higher vs. lower in the room, that is away from any closed areas or placed in a metal cabinet, and 2) Changing radio channels. The latter is especially important in you live in an area where there are a number of competing Wi-Fi.
A good utility to find out, is iStumbler. You would use this to find these other Wi-Fi and find which have the strongest signal value. Those that do, you would also want to note which channel they are operating on, and then, change yours to one that is at least 3-5 channels away. So, for example, if you find strong ones on channels 1 & 6, change yours to 11. -
When I connect the USB dongle from the camera connection kit I get an accessory not supported by iPad message. The card reader triggered the same msg but works now. Same msg with vga. Others have posted this problem but the only suggestion anyone has offered is to reboot, which doesn't help. I've tried.
Thanks Fred. The nearest Apple store is about two hours away, so we did the next best thing & took it to Best Buy. It stumped the "Apple Guy" there. Apparently when an Apple product is turned on it works. Period. I'm impressed that the products are normally so dependable--it just stinks that I got the one in a million that's not. Anyway, now we wait for a service call Tuesday morning. Thanks again!
