TS2755 I am frequently unable to send iMessages to one contact.

I am able to recieve iMessages from all my contacts whenever we are both connected to the Internet, but I am frequency unable to send any to one contact, I can recieve her iMessages, but always find it sends via text message seconds later. Has anyone else had this problem before? Do you know how to solve it?

SETTINGS - MESSAGES - SEND AS SMS - OFF
Now, your iMessages will not be converted to ordinary text messages whenever iMessage is not available for any reason.

I have the ios 7 and it wont let me send a imessage to one person in my contact anymore. It was working fine then it turned into me sending a imessage and only receiving a text. and now it is only letting me send and recieve text messages. It would let me send imessages but said not delievered then I turned on the sms then it sent a text. Then I turned off the sms and now its not even letting me try the imessage. Its only sending texts. I asked if he was just playing a joke but he swears he's not. I can't give you a definitive answer, but I can think of several possibilities:
Your account is not provisioned for MMS by your carrier (assuming you are trying to send them via messaging and not email).
If you are trying to send them by email your email provider has a size limit on messages that is lower than the size of the pictures you are trying to send.
You haven't turned on MMS messaging in Settings/Messages
You don't have an Internet connection when trying to send pictures
You have turned off Cellular Data and don't have a WiFi connection when trying to send pictures

Hello. I have a fifth generation iPod Touch. I have a contact who has an iPhone 4S and when I try to send her an iMessage, the message can never be sent. She has iMessage activated, but not her own Apple ID. My friend claims that she does not need to have an Apple ID in order to send and receive iMessages, but after looking at my iPod Touch, it required me to add my Apple ID. Why am I not able to send this friend iMessages? I have sent iMessages to other iPhone users and they went through just fine.

On the device you send it to yo have use the email addres/phone number listed in Settings>Messages>Send and Receive.
You have to have an Apple ID signed in Settings>Messages>Send and Receive to recieve/send Messages for non-phones (for SMS and MMS messahes send to the phone from other phones no Apple ID is required)

My Iphone 4 will not send Imessages to one contact in particular.

We both have our Imessage turned on and I have tried shutting off my phone and restarting and turning Imessage on and off. Any suggestions on what to do?

My girlfriend lives in the US and I live in Canada. I have unlimited international texting but very little data. She has iMessage but she gets charged for incoming international texts.
So, I want to use iMessage only for her (so she won't get charged) and text for everyone else since I have little data and I already have unlimited texting.

Unable to send text to one contact only

Can anyone help please ........ All of a sudden I can no longer text one of my contacts. It returns unsuccessful. I can call and can send picture messages but not SMS.

They are using a Samsung on 3 ....... They don't have any other problems with anyone else. It used to work then suddenly stopped. It's been about 2 weeks now. ..... I can send messages to others on the 3 network.
I don't have any issues with any other contacts.

I just got my iPhone 6 yesterday and its already giving me problems. I can't send imessages to one contact which happens to be my boyfriend. on my iPhone 5 which had iOS 8 it was fine but now nothing. it was working fine for a bit but just stopped working an hour ago. Unable to send iMessage's on any device on network

I am unable to send iMessages on my network on all my apple devices. I have narrowed it down to being a problem with my airport extreme. My linksys router eliminate's the problem. i have tried everything from changing settings to a factory restore with no avail. I've recently added a slingbox, but i removed that and did a factory restore and it still didnt fix the problem. Its also not an issue with an apple id becuase i have multiple ids in my household and none of their iMessages will work. I can receive messages just fine. Any ideas?

Hi All.... I had same problem and found a post to reset my iPhone network connection. I did it and all back to normal ! Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. I researched first because I was scared it would reset my entire phone but it only reset all network connections. = ) Hope it works for you guys as well. ciao!

I understand that your iMessage seems to work normally with everyone except your father. To troubleshoot the issue, I would follow these steps on both of the devices:

Do one step on both devices, then test, and if it doesn't work move to the next step and repeat. If you run through all of them on both devices, it should resolve the issue.

You can use the Messages app to send messages to any iOS device or to a Mac running Mountain Lion. So yes you can send a message to another iPad.
Both iPads have to have Messages set up and you need to contact the other iPad using an email addresses as the "you can be reached at" email address.
Do you have it set up correctly on both iPads?

Cannot send imessages to my contact anymore

am currently using iphone 5s with latest updates.
I was sending imessages to my contact till now. I was in a different city 2 days ago and was having trouble sending imessages so when the error message was provided to me saying "message not delivered" I checked the option of send the message as "text message". Now I am back in my home town and would like to communicate via imessage and my iphone will not allow me to send imessages to my contact anymore. The message I send goes like a text message which is in green.

No. That was the first thing we checked. I am not blocked. And we can call each other without a problem.
But like I said... if I RESEND the text and check "send as text message" (it will show up green on my iPhone instead of blue), he will receive it then. But on his phone, when he receives it, it still reads as a blue iMessage.
