TS2755 iMessage problems

I was using IMessage last night then my iPod died and soI charged it but then after i turned it on my iMessage stopped working. Idk how to fix it, I tried turning the iMessage on and off but that didn't work, I tried restarting my iPod and even turned off my wifi. That didn't help either. I don't know what to do, help!

Have you reset your phone by holding Home and Power until the Apple logo starts up?

My iMessage works except with my boyfriend which is the other number on my bell account. I receive his messages as iMessages but when I reply it sends as SMS. When I send a message to another contact it sends as iMessage no problem. How do I fix this?

It looks like iMessage registration failed.
On your boyfriend's iPhone, go to setting, Messages, If you see "Waiting for Activation", "Activation unsuccessful", or "An error occurred during activation", disable iMessage and then turn it on again.

  • TS2755 iMessage problem 7th Sept 2012

My imessage keeps saying "waiting for activation". How would i go about solving this issue?
Is there an issue with imessage currently?
    Regards
    Nigel

You know that it is iMessage from the send button turning blue.
    Try this:
    1. disconnect and reconnect to WiFi. Now test again.
    2. Reset the iPhone by pressing and holding the sleep/wake and home buttons and releasing them, when the Apple logo appears on the display. Now test again.
    3. Go to settings>general>reset and reset only the network settings. Reconnect to your WiFi. Now test again.
    4. Go to settings>general>reset and reset all settings. Reconnect to your WiFi. Now test again.

  • I am concerned that Apple thinks the imessage problem is only affecting a few users.  That is not true.  It is affecting me as well.  Please fix it as soon as possible.  Thank You

The imessage problem with IOS7 is affecting me.  I just wanted to chime in because Apple said it is only affecting a few users.  Don't believe it.

We've added you to the list of affected users & as soon as a fix is availble, we'll notify you .

  • IMessage problem - Cannot get it to work

iMessage problem - I cannot get iMessage to sync. I have a iPhone 4 and iPad 2 both on iOS 5. everything else works fine. I cannot get the iMessage to sync. Both have the same @me id. if I try to add another email I get "iMessage Activation Unable to veryify email because it is already in use." Going crazy for 2 days any ideas?

I'm guessing, but the email address is used as a unique address, (it's easier with an iPhone as it has a phone number). This error could be saying that another iTunes userid has linked with that email address.  That is only possible if they verified it.
Do you have two AppleIDs / iTunes IDs in the house, but a family (shared) email address?
Simple solution then would be to create a new gmail email address and use that.

  • Former iPhone User & Possible iMessage Problems - Textmessage Issue

I have been an iPhone user since the 2G, so about 10 years. In fact, everyone in my family uses iPhones. Even when I decided to change, my
family members remained devoted iPhone users. I loved my iPhone, but in time I realized Apple fostered this cool-kid-lunch-table culture, and I didn’t want to help promote that belief/behavior. The last straw for me was having to play Apple’s upgrade game where little to no innovation would occur.
I had been waiting for a new iPhone since my brand new iPhone 5 got stolen. This should be noted, I did not receive any support from Apple in
the aftermath of that incident. I repeatedly went to the Genius Bar near my apartment, but it was useless. I was told your “Lost” mode or whatever was impervious. (By the way, I spent the next couple of months telling at&t to stop sending me bills for calls being made to Russia on that iPhone.) I ended up using the 4S for almost two more years. Given Planned Obsolescence (to be fair, all the smart devices do that (in theory all consumer goods)), those two years were grim. (i.e. phone interviews for a job were next to impossible)
Thus, when I was eligible for an update, I got the Nokia Lumia 1020. Apple’s smart, it ended up hiring Ari Partinen, the guy who designed and help implement a huge selling point of the device, the 41 megapixel camera. Much like the 2G, theNokia Lumia 1020 has problems. Companies cannot (or in some instances, will not) innovate and (truly) improve their products without demand andcompetition. (i.e. The fourth (or the fifth) generation of Apple tablets started coming out with Pages after the very first Windows’ tablet came with MSOffice during the first year's use). Thus, I had to forgo the Nokia Lumia 1020 on the whole because the demand to improve the product is not there like it was for the 2G.
Given the circumstances, at&t suggested I get a different smartphone, I asked to go back to the iPhone, but I was told I could not due to
some sort of prevision in Apple’s contract. Something along the lines of – "You should have chosen the iPhone during your upgrade." I was randomly sent an Android  device, and told this is the best thing I’m getting. Take it or leave it.
To add, one of my problems will mostly likely rollover to the Android phone . For some unknown reason, I stopped receiving group texts (from iphone users), which is mostly likely an imessage problem. It is probably an imessage problem because I experienced it when I first switchedto a non-apple device (three months ago, with the Lumia 1020).
As such, I signed into my apple account on their support site, to unregister my devices (again). I (thought) deleted everything three months ago, but it looks like thestolen iPhone 5 is on there.
Is Apple literally FORCING me back to them (while simultaneously, barring me from accessing
    their product)?
At this point, I am too exhausted (and have to get back to my responsibilities), please figure something out with messages being sent via wifi (aka: imessage).
PS. Forgive the editing errors, formatting problems wouldn't allow me to resolve them. ....Apple, go listen to some Echosmith. The cool kid culture needs to be improved. You are capable of making the needed improvements.

  • TS2755 iPad iMessage problem

Hi, I having some issue for my iMessage. I already verified and activated mt iMessage account but when I finished typing the sentence and wanted to send to my friend who using iPad and iPhone but the send button doesn't allow me to click and I send the message too.
Appreciate if you could assist me on this. Thanks :)

make sure you have their correct information highlighted. For instance, when you verified you're account, you put in an email address. make sure you are using your friend's email address they setup for their ipad exactly how they made it.
you need to also make sure you're not typing in their phone number as this will not work (yet).
if you can not send you may need to also make sure you are connected to the internet.

  • Interesting iMessage Problem between Macbook Pro/iPad 1

I was recently forced into getting a Macbook Pro (I would have preferred an iMac if I had to buy a Mac at all) and everything has gone as well as can be expected (background: I build PCs and am a Linux user. I am proficient in Mac/Windows/Linux with my preference being Linux > Windows > Mac) except one thing:
The person I talk to the most with iMessage has an iPad 1 and about 90% of their messages appear NOT DELIVERED (red !) immediately when they try to send them.  I can send them messages, and they receive them.  I've had one single message fail in the way their messages fail to deliver, but had no other problem with messaging anyone else or receiving other messages.
    Any ideas?

  • IMESSAGE PROBLEM. Switching from android to iphone

  • TS2755 iMessage not working

My iMessage is not working. It fails to send and receive from my iPad. I am connected to the wifi. I have tried resetting the network and system settings without success, taking the steps from the last update problem.  My FaceTime is also not working. I use these apps infrequently so I am not certain when this started happening.

  • TS2755 iMessage issues

iMessage says that what I sent isn't being delivered or sent, but the one I'm sending the messages to can receive them without any problems. Any idea what I can do to fix this So that it doesn't say that my messages aren't getting sent when they actually are?

  • URGENT! text/SMS/iMessage problem

I am in UK and I am using my iPhone 4S IOS 5.1 to text my girlfriend who is visiting Finland
    She has a 3Gs with IOS 5.1.
Problem is she is receiving those messages sent as texts (green) but NOT those messages sent as iMessages (blue)
They seem to change format randomly. I don't get to choose the format.
Is there a way I can make sure every message is sent as a text? (not an iMessage)
    thanks

    Thank you Allan

  • TS2755 iMessage not receiving as normal text after leaving Wi-Fi

When I start a conversation with someone in a Wi-Fi zone, with iMessage turned on, it send in a blue bubble. When I leave the wifi zone and keep the conversation going its turns green, the problem is that once I leave the wifi zone in a iMessage started convorsation I wont receive texts until I re-enter a wifi zone. How can I change this? Turning off iMessage doesn't seem to help because I will receive some messages but not all. until I get in a WiFi zone.
Note: I don't have a data plan, just unlimited text messaging.

Your note explains it all. Without a data plan you cannot send imessage texts and others on imessage cannot send you imessage texts. They will time out and eventually send as sms. What puzzles me is why you don't have a data plan on your phone? Without it your phone is just a plain old dumb phone.
