TS2755 imessage saying not delivered

Why is imessage saying not delivered to only one of my contacts, all the other contacts I can send messages fine. I tried restarting the phone, I don't know what else I can do. Help please

Do you have another apple device with iMessage running on it? That was my problem I have a 5s and an ipad 2 and noticed if I turn iMessage off in the settings in my ipad I no longer get that not delivered message on my phone.

Down in Washington DC too (on the web-site and in all IMAP clients), since about noon, local time. The "All services are online" at <http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/systemstatus/> looks quite annoying. How large are the files? It is possible your e-mail provider has put a limit on attachments to e-mail.

When I try to send a message on my iPad mini it says not delivered

Why do all my texts say not delivered when the recipient is getting the message mulitple times?

when I send a text to a non-iphone user it says not delivered and it shows the red exclamation point. on the other end the person getting the message gets it 3-4 times. I have done a manual re-boot, checked for carrier updates, turned imessage off, changed the date and changed it back process, ect. and even an apple rep was not able to fix it. anyone have any tricks up their sleeve to help me out? I really don't want to have to go to an Apple store and stand there for them to tell me to do the same thing over and over again.

Yes. Everything in my settings is where it needs to be. And every method I have tried worked but only for a brief time. Then right back to the original problem.

IMessage getting "Not Delivered" error, Message Send Failure

I upgraded to ios5 on my 3GS last night, seemed to have no problems, no errors. When I try sending a text another iphone users, it defaults to sending an iMessage, but then says "Not Delivered" in red, with a red exclamation point next to it. My daughter, on the same network and same house can send imessages to me, but I do not receive them.
In my settings, I've tried turning iMessage on and off, tried setting "Send As SMS" both on and off, no changes. "Receive At" has my phone number, and my apple id email address. I've tried restoring and reinstalling ios, restarting the phone numerous times, nothing seems to work.
Any ideas?

I'm in the same boat with my new 4S. I installed 5.0.1 last night and it was working fine until this morning. When I woke up, I tried to send a text message with no luck. iMessage works fine, and I can RECIEVE text messages. Just no dice on sending any. At all.

iMessages. I have gone into settings and turned off iMessages for one minute then reactivated it. Then I turned off network settings and then back on again. Today I'll try and restore the phone again to see if that works. Frustrating!

I have added every combination of area code, no area code, 1, +1 etc. I am not just trying to message her, I am trying to REPLY to her message. I am guessing you mean an iMessage.
The recipient may not have their Apple device on WiFi at the time you send the message.

If it says "Delivered" under it to begin with, then you're not sending it as an MMS, you're sending it as an iMessage. It's entirely possible the problem is on the receiving end.

IPhone 4s will not text ANYBODY, says 'Not Delivered' with red !

Okay, so I am so close to smashing this thing I am so mad.
Last night everything was working fine, I could text everyone and everything was sunshine and rainbows. Then in the middle of a conversation my texts suddenly stopped sending, saying not delivered.
At first it was only one person, but now it's EVERYONE on my contacts, iPhone user or not!
I've reset my phone settings, I've tried turning iMessage on and off, I turned SMS on and off, MMS on and off, I called apple and was met with a "Nobody that specializes in your apple product is available at this hour" response, I've tried adding a number to the existing phone number and then texting simply '111-2222' without the area code, I reset my roaming (or whatever that was, looked like *5000-something)
I can receive messages, and I can call people and receive calls, I just can't SEND them!
PLEASE, HELP ME OUT! Im going crazy!

Try resetting network settings in the settings and then rebooting the phone.

IMessage displays "not delivered" all the time

every iMessage i send says 'delivered' for a second, then switches to 'not delivered' even though my recipients tell me they have been. and their messages to me (which i DO receive) also say 'not delivered'

jkalef lets make certain that everything is on the same page! Are you experiencing any trouble with other Apple services, like FaceTime? Does this happen intermittently or all the time? Have you noticed this happens when you're connected to Wi Fi or to the network? To ensure your device is properly syncing, I would recommend Resetting the Network Settings http://vz.to/1lk3Jp7 .
