TS2755 iPad iMessage problem
Hi, I having some issue for my iMessage. I already verified and activated mt iMessage account but when I finished typing the sentence and wanted to send to my friend who using iPad and iPhone but the send button doesn't allow me to click and I send the message too.
Appreciate if you could assist me on this. Thanks :)
make sure you have their correct information highlighted. For instance, when you verified you're account, you put in an email address. make sure you are using your friend's email address they setup for their ipad exactly how they made it.
you need to also make sure you're not typing in their phone number as this will not work (yet).
if you can not send you may need to also make sure you are connected to the internet.

I just bought an iPad and tried to use the texting and I get an error that says contact is not a registered iMessage user. What does this mean? It doesn't work like texting from an iPhone?
You cannot text from an iPad like you do from a phone. You use Messages on your iPad to send messages to other iOS devices only. That does include iPhones but not Android or other phones. The iOS device you are sending a Message to must be a registered iOS device. The user must have set up Messages on that device.
Another way to think of it is that an iPad is not a phone. You do not pay texting fees as part of your pad contract. But you can send Messages to other iOS devices, a very nice advantage. -
Iphone / ipad imessage problem
I have an ipad and I'm using imessage on it receiving at my email, the same one used for the apple id. Today I got an iphone too, so when i was doing the configuration it asked me for my apple id so i put that email. Now imessage by default recieved message on the same email on the ipad and the iphone. That means that whenever i'm out using imesssage on the iphone someone could be watching the conversation as it happens on the ipad from home. This is annoying and i wantto change it so i can recieve imessages on the iphone only at my phone number.

I haven't been able to get the iMessage to work on my iPad. We have two iPhones working correctly. Come to find out the TIME WAS NOT CORRECT. Once I went into settings and updated to the correct time..BAM..it worked. I had tried everything per tons of post...but never dawned on me to check the time..duhhh
Hope this helps...when I go into the Menssagens, it asks for a password and apple ID, so I put, then he asks lara choose an email, and then back to the first step. :(Please help me ...The same thing happens with facetime. PS: ipad 4 ios 6.1

my ipad imessages are coming up on my husband's iphone. Is that because we share an apple id account. How can we have separate apple id's and still share the same music library.
The biggest problem I have is with cross texting. My friends send my a imessage on ipad to ipad and it comes up as message on my husband's phone as well as my ipad?
My friends definitely do not want my husband seeing their texts. (and I dont really need him to see my responses either)
Also, apple id is based on my email account, how do I create a new apple id without setting up a new email account? -

HT5821 My new iPad iMessage will not send messages.
I have everything setup correctly, including the email address and account information. It just says unable to send with the red explanation point with a red circle. Does give the option to resend. This is all it will do. I've tried sending to a Mac computer and still the error. Thanks!

IMessage problem - Cannot get it to work
iMessage problem - I cannot get iMessage to sync. I have a iPhone 4 and iPad 2 both on iOS 5. everything else works fine. I cannot get the iMessage to sync. Both have the same @me id. if I try to add another email I get "iMessage Activation Unable to veryify email because it is already in use." Going crazy for 2 days any ideas?
I'm guessing, but the email address is used as a unique address, (it's easier with an iPhone as it has a phone number). This error could be saying that another iTunes userid has linked with that email address. That is only possible if they verified it.
Do you have two AppleIDs / iTunes IDs in the house, but a family (shared) email address?
Simple solution then would be to create a new gmail email address and use that. -
I am having the iMessage problem following the latest update but am unable to fix it following suggestions on here so far. Anybody have a different suggestion? My phone & iPad are fine but my husbands phone is the one with the issue. I tried backing it up to my computer but for some reason it won't do that either.

HT3529 IPAD imessage is Frozen????
Ipad imessage has frozen and will not unfreeze.
Tried resetting.
Hard resetting.
And it is still frozen.
How do I clear this or reset it?
I tried the usual reset methods I read online but they did not work.
HELP me please....Here's the answer
Close the iMessage app on the Task Bar
1. Double-click the Home button to reveal Task Bar
2. Hold iMessage app down for a second or two until you see the minus sign
3. Tap the minus sign to close app
4. Tap area above Task Bar to return to Home screen
5. Go to settings, iMessage and turn it off
6. Hold down the power and home buttons at he same time til you see the apple logo then release them(this may not be necessary, but it's what I did)
7. When the ipad powers back on, open iMessage using the iMessage icon, DO NOT turn it on in settings. It will ask you to login follow the steps and iMessage will be restored. Personally after this I deleted the last message that was very large with 21 photos in it(which I believe caused the problem) and then the rest of my old messages. This worked for me and no more problems since, good luck! -
iPad sync problem - HELP! I keep getting this message "...cannot be synced because there is not enough free space to hold all of the items in the iTunes library (additional ...space needed)" and yet I seem to have plenty of space on the iPad. This just started today. I even tried deleting some things to make even more room, but it didn't help. Any ideas???
I was thinking of restoring, but I've never done it... should I?

The imessage problem with IOS7 is affecting me. I just wanted to chime in because Apple said it is only affecting a few users. Don't believe it.
