TS2755 Messages mixed up

I phone 4s when sending texts the person that recieves them the message is different and usually bits of old ones :s

I've been having this issue on and off also within the last week. I finally updated to iOS 7 about a month ago. And I have had this issue before also, over a year ago, well over a year ago. And i'm not entirely to sure what "fixed" it. Idk what's causing this because the texts that're being squished into current texts are from months ago, and have long been deleted off my phone and the receiver's phone. So if neither device has these old texts saved, where are they coming from to be "resent" again in mid of current texts to the receiver? To my knowledge VZW (my current provider) doesn't keep these texts anywhere. All you can see on myverizon is times sent and received, and who they are sent to and received from. We as customers can not find our own previous texts on myverizon.
Correct me if i'm wrong, but for these old texts that are no longer on either device to be "resent" from months ago, they have to be being saved somewhere. So, then where? Why? Why can't we access this? And what's messing up occasionally to cause it to randomly resend out these old texts? Switching out devices hasn't fixed it. Nothing specific seems to have fixed it before either. It just kinda, stops doing it on it's own....

Hi,
I have strange situation. We are using SAX Java mapping in simple scenario IDOC - to - JDBC. It happens, sometimes, that some messages are going to be mixed, I mean, system starts to create first message, then stops, and starts with second but with data from first and second message together. Finally, it happens nothing but error in JDBC receiver.
What could be wrong? I noticed that this happens sometimes when messages are sent in same time( in one second)?!
We are on SP11....

Hi Mario,
we have got similar issue in SP11,but in our case if 2 different messages send at the same time,they are comming to right and wrong message interfaces.messages comming to wrong interfaces failing in message mapping.we also getting messages to right interfaces,so its not big issue in our case,
i guess its bug in SP11. please send message to SAP.

TS2755 Messages don't come to the iPhone

When i start a converstaion on messages on my imac they don't show up on my iphone, conversly when i start one on my iphone they don't come thru on the imac. what have i done wrong that they aren't on all devices?

TS2755 messages using a ton of space 4gb ????

I have a iphone 5. i have about 100 text message treads in my phone. if i go to settings, usage the phone says i have used about 4gb of space for messages. that seems to me like a lot. it is max of 100 pages pg texts and a few low res photos mixed in.

Delete a message. Touch and hold a message or attachment, tap More, select more if desired, then tap . To delete all text and attachments without deleting the conversation, tap Delete All.

TS2755 Messages Beta Crashes every time I try to open it. Lion on iMac totally up to date and tried downloading messages Beta again and installed..no go. help?

I cannot seem to get Messages on my iMac to work at all. Never had any app crash on opening. Cant get to a menu of any kind to do anything with it as it crashes on opening. help? Dont know if Mountain Lion later this summer will fix or not?

Could you tell me a few things please ?
Were you using iChat before ?
After Downloading and Installing the first time did you restart your computer like it said ?
When you downloaded it again did you Uninstall it first from the Messages Menu (Back to iChat) ?
Each time Apple have released a new OS the iChat application has also had a new version.
Lion had iChat 6. Messages Beta is called version 6.1 (it also shows as iChat in several places).
It is likely that the non beta version will be a new numbered version.
At this point try this one thing.
Open the Applications/Utilities folder and find Activity Monitor and launch it
In the list of apps and items running find IMAgent (it will not have an icon as it is a system side support app for FaceTime and ichat/Messages).
Select it then use the Quit button top left
Confirm Force Quit.
It will restart and appear near the top of the list again.
Will Messages launch now ?

TS2755 Messages disappear in inbox. When I close out messenger entirely and reopen it, they appear. Also, if I only have one message unread in my inbox and I open up my messenger it automatically opens the unread message. Very frustrating....Please hel

I have an iphone 4s, OS 4.1.1. I am having issues with my messenger. When I have a message open I will see a new text come through and then it disappears. I have to close out of my messenger entirely and reopen it. Once I reopen the message the text reappears. Any suggestions? Also, if I get a new message and there is only one unopened message in my inbox and I open my messenger it automatically opens that message. Any way to fix this so that I decide when I want to open a certain message?

There are several possible reasons that messages seem to 'disappear'.
There are two types of email accounts: IMAP and POP. See https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/glossary-terms-including-types-accounts
If you have a POP account and are accessing the mail on more than one computer or smartphone, whichever device reads (downloads) the message first will have it locally, but it will no longer be listed or available on the other devices.
If you have an IMAP account, the message stays on the server, but if one device (user) moves or deletes the message, it will affect the view on all devices. So, for example, if you are using your smartphone and take some action on an email, when you get back to your computer, it will reflect that same action (but you might not have realized what caused it).
Sometimes the index of a mail folder (.msf) will get corrupted. If you right click on the name of the folder and select Properties, a 'Folder Properties' window will open. Select 'Repair Folder'. This may take care of the problem.
Another, less likely, reason for messages not to show up in your inbox is having the preference set to show only unread or recent messages. Then once you read them they seem to disappear.
If you are still having problems, please look at the following items and respond with the information.
1) What operating system do you use (Win8, MAC, Linux, etc)?
2) Are you using IMAP or POP?
3) If your mail server has a browser interface (web mail access such as mail.google.com), do the messages show up there?
4) Right click on the folder in question and select Properties.
a) Number of messages?
b) Size on disk?
5) Left click on the account name; View settings for this account; highlight Server settings;
What choices are marked under "When I delete a message"?
6) What, if any, antivirus program do you have installed?

Had the same problem after updating to ios 6 could not send-recieve text messages at all. Did a restore on iphone same problem, changed setting same problem. called at&t they said they is a problem the ios 6 that changes setting at att take techline 15 minutes and imessage and text messages working ok

My Messaging displays contact phone numbers instead of contact names. This just started happening and I do not recall changing any settings. How do I restore to display contact names again?

Make sure the numbers are assigned to a contact.

TS2755 Messages begin to send but don't complete going through ever(no matter how long I wait). Occasionally whe I send a message it does go through with no problem

How can I get my messages to complete sending. They start to send and stop just before completing.

1. Go to Settings > Messages > Send and Receive and sign out off your apple id.
2. Then turn off imessage in Settings > Messages
3. Restart your phone.
4. Turn on imessage
5. Then Sign back into Messages with your apple id.
That should fix your problem.

TS2755 Message conflict between iPhone and ipad

My wife recently replaced a phone with a new iphone. She already has an ipad, and previously, when I sent her a message, I would choose the destination (ipad or cell phone) with no problems. Now, however, even when I choose the cell number (which hasn't changed) as the intended destination for my message, it goes to her ipad.
What settings need to be changed in order to correct this?

See needs to go into Settings>Messages>Send and Receive and make sure her phone number is checked. She can turn off the Apple ID on the phone to restrict that, and then check the settings on the iPad. You also might need to delete your conversations and then start over making sure that you select her phone number.

Why is message on Mountain Lion defaulting to Facetime instead of the good old iChat style 4 way video conferencing.
Why is the Invite to Video Chat greyed out?

When I click on the messages icon it says; talk.google.com Password
Messages can’t log in to ........ ( my email address) because your login ID or password is incorrect.

TS2755 Messaging issue

I can sent and receive messages from all contacts except two. Also have one contact that can receive my texts but I don't get her. What's up with this?

Did one of these users recently switch from an iPhone to an Android? If they did, did they turn off iMessage prior to switching?

TS2755 Messages is freezing when typing and trying to send

Yesterday my text messages was working fine, but this morning, it's kind of intermittent. Most of the time it freezes on me when trying to type the message. It also freezes when i touch a txt that i want to reply too. I did a hard reset a couple of times, I also reset my network connections. Any other tips on what I can do? Is there going to be a new updgrade? Never had this problem before the upgrade to IOS7.

Apple is aware of the issue and is expected to release 7.0.3 next week to address iMessage issues.
I know you tried to reset the network settings but did you disable iMessage first?
Try this:
1. Turn off iMessage in Settings > Messages
2. Reset networking settings in Settings > General > Reset
3. Reenable iMessage in Settings > Messages

TS2755 Message problems

My ex and I are still on the same Sprint plan together until the contract ends at the beginning of the year. After the iOS 7 update she gets txt I send to other people on her phone. Any idea how to fix it? We both have our own Apple ID.

Something may have happend to where she has your apple id for imessage.
If you're still in contact with her ask her to go to settings - message - send&receive - have here uncheck or remove your apple id.
