TS2755 My iPhone 4S will not delete messages
When attempting to delete messages my phone will not let me... When I hit "edit" then click on the "-" tab .. The "delete" tab will appear for a second then disappear... Not giving me time to delete the message... How can thus be fixed ?
Swipe message right to left delete or archive box should come up. If you want to mass delete try watching http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fKa-KFjUIGE If messages are on a server like gmail or yahoomail you may have to go there and delete or the messages will come back.

My iPhone 5 will not delete photos
My fiance's iPhone 5 has an album that is taking up a lot of space on the phone and the phone will not give me the option to delete any of the pictures on it. I can select each photo in the album, but the trash can icon does not show. The only 2 options I get is to Send or to Add To. All the photos on our PC with Windows 7 installed, so we are okay with deleting them from the phone. Any suggestions are very appreciated. Thanks in advance.
When I connect the phone to iTunes I have the Photos "tab" blank. There is nothing there to select. Under options on the Summary tab, there is no Photos or Pictures option. That would have been my first option, but sadly I cannot figure this out.

Syncing iPhone - applications will not install message
After some trouble with my two month old iPhone4S I did a Master reset after a full backup. Now when I want to restore the application most of them (not all) will not install on the phone. Doing them one by one looks good in iTunes but on the phone I get the message "Application 'xxx' will not install". Any ideas on how to proceed?
If that's my only option then I may just buy it from the App Store and see if that works. It would cost me at least that in gas to get to my "local" Apple store. It just seems weird to me. All of a sudden iPhoto and iMovie stop working. I completely reset my macbook and I still get the same error. I've done the "Hardware Test" and the DVD looks flawless. I'm really just throwing my hands up.

My iphone 4s will not send messages to certain people?
I picked up my new iphone 4s at the weekend, since i turned the phone i found some people where ''ignoring me'. People who have rang my new number have said it says ''no number'' and ''not regonised''. Some of my messages haven't been recieved by my friends, and likewise i have not recived theirs. Would really appreicate some help? Really disapointed that my brand new Iphone 4s can't do a simple function as SMS messaging.
If it isn't sending to non-iPhone users go to Settings>Messages and turn Send AS SMS to On. If it isn't just non-iPhone users then the problem could be with your carrier or theirs, and you'll have to follow up with them to investigate it.

My iPhone 4 will not send messages as iMessage
It will only send messages as text. There is nothing wrong with my network connection. Safari and Mail work fine. I know it is sending as text because the message is in green. I don't even have Send as SMS on in Settings.

I cannot empty my 'trash' ... it comes up with ... "Unable to Move Message ... The message could not be moved to the mailbox Trash"
I went into Settings > Mail > 'my account' > advanced > deleted mailbox > Trash (On My iPhone) ... it appears to delete a few items only ... I may try to individually delete 30 items and only 4 go ? help please ...I have the same problem and there is no advanced option. Was this removed in the upgrade to ios 5? I have been chasing a solution to this and the fact I have various duplicate emails appearing in my work account for days now! It seems like I may have to delete my account and re-install. This appears to be a common problem, where is Apple's fix for it?

Why will my iphone 5 not send or receive messages ever since I updated it to iOS 7.0.4 a few hours ago?
I have no idea, works on mine. Does it still do that after you do a Reset? (Hold down the home and sleep button, wait for the Apple logo, let go of the buttons.)

Apple Mail program will not delete messages
I have a new MacBook Pro Retina. In the Apple Mail program, I am having trouble deleting some messages from my work email (uses Microsoft Exchange). When I login online to my email account, I see certain messages are deleted. On my MacBook, however, they still show up in my inbox. When I delete them, or right click and move to trash, an error message pops up that says they cannot be moved to trash. This is odd, because on the server they appear already to be in the trash.
I have tried restarting, closing and opening Mail, etc. By the way, my older work computer on which I also access the account via Apple Mail works seemlessly.
Ideas?Ah Hah! Though I tried searching for a similar thread, I could not find one until I posted the message and the "More Like This" box on the right led me to similar issues.
I did end up highlighting the box, and going to "Mailbox" -> "Rebuild" which fixed the problem. I hope it does not occur again.

It doesn't say "apple needs software update".
"Apple" is a company, and does not need an update. What exactly is the message? And why can you not update whatever it is? -

Every time I delete a voicemial on my iphone it comes right back... even if I dial my number directly and bypass the visual voicemail
Same issue here. Spent 40 minutes with AppleCare rep. He trouble shot, and said it's not on Apple side. He then connected me directly to AT&T to hand off my call, claiming issue must be with AT&T voicemail. An hour on and off hold enduring AT&Ts incompetence was all I could stand before hanging up on them. Invested almost two hours, with no solution. Is you carrier AT&T too?

I've tried Turning off "Show All Music" and then swiping left on the song to delete it, but it wont give me the option to delete the songs. Please help. Iphone 5 will not back up to iTunes. I have never had this issue before but it has been consistent for the last two months. I have read a few discussion boards and restarted and deleted older backups to no success. Please help! I also tried backing up the phone to my other computer and it is still stating an error occurred.
Its reading iTunes could not back up this iPhone because an error occurred.

My Iphone 4 will not let me send an email or reply to an email. The message states that it has put my email in my outbox and that my server does not allow for relaying. Can anyone help with this? I have read some other answers and nothing has worked Thanks
Your email provider has blocked the standard mail port 25 for sending emails and is requiring a different port. This is to avoid mail relays that use mail clients to send spam. You need to find the port that is used by your provider for sending outgoing mail. Then change the settings in your email account on your phone to match the port. You will also have to provide some security credentials for the account.
You can also try deleting the email account from your iphone, and the adding the email account back as this will many times set the correct port for sending emails.
You could also do a Google search on the the settings for your device with your email provider. That will provide you with the proper settings.
