TS2755 When I text people a random number is showing up for my caller if

I need help for some reason on iMessage a random phone number is coming up. When I go into settings and messages it shows that number and I can't change it back to my real phone number. Help!

When using Messages between iPhones with IOS 5 (provided you have in Settings > Messages > iMessage > ON and Receive At > your phone number), your text should appear in a blue bubble because it's delivered by Apple server whereas green is normal SMS delivered by your cell carrier.
If in Messages conversation list you only sees her number instead of her name then there something not configured correctly on her end.
Do you have her contact in your Contacts app? I supposed you do.
