TS2771 i forgot my password and it wont reset with new itunes

My daughter has forgotten her password and we cant reset it
each time we connect it says enter your password but we cant remember it?

Recovery Mode
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
3.While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: Data will be lost. You may have to repeat the above many times.

Put it in recovery mode to restore it, as described here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808. You can do this on your other laptop; it won't ask for a passcode if it's in recovery mode.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
I understand that your iPad is disabled due to the passcode. You can restore the iPad back to its original settings by placing it in recovery mode. Please use the following article as a reference and follow the steps within it to restore using recovery mode.

I tried adding the songs and playlists on my phone to the new itunes, and not all my songs and playlists are being added with no error messages or reason. Anyone have a solution or also having this problem? Im using windows 7 ultimate and like i said, the new itunes

2G iPhone wont sync with new iTunes

I’ve had my phone for several months now and I haven’t had any problems syncing songs from iTunes to it. But since I’ve downloaded the new iTunes it will not sync up anymore. Instead of the normal chime when connecting the phone, it does a real quick triple chime instead. Then it immediately makes the sound of it being disconnected. So I was wondering if there was any secret way to fix it. I’ve looked for troubleshooting on apple.com and Google, and nothing has solved it yet.

I've already tried that. I have done it twice since the new iTunes came out. I'm not really sure what else there is to do.

Connect to iTunes... if running iOS5 it should be possible to sync the device and remove the passcode lock.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

Downgrading to a previous version of iOS is not supported.
