TS2771 I message not working/password user id incorrect?
My imessage stopped sending messages. I tried to reactivate in and it prompted me for my password which I entered. It then told me that my user id or password is incorrect, meanwhile I JUST used it last night to install an app. I went to support and reset my id, came back to activate and getting the same message. Why is this happening? Can someone be messing with my account? How do I fix this issue?

Hi I am new to this forum and am asking for your help. We are sharing a computer, the PrtSc key is working for the Administrator but not when we switch users. We have tried everything that we can think of: From opening a the page(S) we want to paste to not opening the pages. My most common usage is to PrtSc and paste it into an email , but barring that we have tried opening a page in notes, documents, word etc . Nothing seems to work. I do not get an error message , it just won't paste. Since we are not computer literate we are hoping you can help us with a solution . any ideas?I'm having a similar issue. It appears to only impact Hotmail accounts. For me though, this happened without updating the OS. The email client is simply failing to connect to the Hotmail interface. Only two possibilities, either Microsoft changed something on the email gateway or Nokia changed something on their end. Either way, it's not working and has been out of commission for the past week. If this is how corporate friends get along, I'd hate to see what happens in a adversarial relationship.

My xmms does not work as user, but works as root. I give permissions for users in devfsd.conf, but when I klick to play file it does not pick up the file. The file name does not appear in the window. With Mplayer is does the same. What is the problem?

Default Dashboard not working after user login
Hi All,
We have one issue in 11.1.1.7.1 where PORTALPATH is not working for users. As a result, user lands on home page/recent page instead of the default dashboard after login.
I followed Doc ID 1576576.1 and Bug 17071629 - PORTALPATH SESSION VARIABLE IS INEFFECTIVE is reported. I applied patch 17071629 on top of 7.1. I have tried and verified that
· The URL we are using to login is “http://machinename:9704/analytics/saw.dll?bieehome&startPage=1”
· There is no Start Page set in user’s My Account other than Default.
· In Answers, the PORTALPATH session variable fetches correct dashboard path.
· I removed space in the dashboard name and tried with following path “/shared/Dashboard/_portal/PortalPathTest”. Also, assigned same default value to the session variable. I also tried “/Shared Folders/Dashboard/Dashboards/PortalPathTest” and “%2fshared%2fDashboard%2f_portal%2fPortalPathTest” but nothing works.
· lsinventory shows the patch got applied successfully.
One thing to notice -
1. Login url is: "http://machinename:9704/analytics/saw.dll?bieehome&startPage=1"
2. After login, browser URL gets changed to "http://http://scoreboard-sit.wellsfargo.com:9704/analytics/saw.dll?bieehomemachinename:9704/analytics/saw.dll?bieehome" and shows Home Page instead of default dashboard.
3. Now at this stage, if I append "&startPage=1" to the above step 2 URL in browser, it automatically navigates to correct default dashboard.
Also, This patch has fixed default dashboard in Act As. That means, If I act as a User, I land on correct default dashboard. But if same user actually logs in, s/he lands on home page.
I suspect if URL redirection after login is the actual issue. Please suggest if anyone has an idea.

There was a java script error related to an undefined object, "accessMode" in logon.js. This is related to Accessibility or Section 508 (checked by Developer Tools of IE). We may have removed this code from the logon page which was causing the error. We had customized the page quite a bit previously. When I ignore the error and step through, I go to the correct portal path page. So we are going to replace the logon.js file with backup and hopefully it will fix the issue.

Details: This is the BlazeDS side of the fix. This wasn't a regression, it probably never worked correctly. So, in the scenario where there's a Producer and a Consumer, and Producer sends a message for the Consumer, there are 2 messages from the server. The ACK message for Producer's send, and the actual message Consumer receives. I found that the ACK message was in small form, but the actual message was not in streaming messages. This was because we never really tried to convert streamed messages into small messages before.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. IOS Group Messaging not working when Android phones are involved
Group Messaging not working for me when there are both Iphones and Androids involved. iPhones still using iOS 7 don't seem to be having problems leading me to believe this is an iOS 8 problem. Is there a workaround for this yet, or is this a legitimate bug fix that Apple will have to address?

Thanks for the question. After reviewing your post, it sounds like you arr having trouble with group messages. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help you resolve or isolate the issue.
iOS: Troubleshooting Messages
To resolve issues with sending and receiving iMessages, follow these steps
Check iMessage system status for current service issues.
Go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive and make sure that you registered iMessage with your phone number or Apple ID and that you selected iMessage for use. If the phone number or Apple ID isn't available for use, troubleshoot iMessage registration.
Open Safari and navigate to www.apple.com to verify data connectivity. If a data connection isn't available, troubleshoot cellular data or a Wi-Fi connection.
iMessage over cellular data might not be available while you're on a call. Only 3G and faster GSM networks support simultaneous data and voice calls. Learn which network your phone supports. If your network doesn't support simultaneous data and voice calls, go to Settings > Wi-Fi and turn Wi-Fi on to use iMessage while you're on a call.
Restart your device.
Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings on your iPhone.
If you still can't send or receive an iMessage, follow these steps
Make sure that the contact trying to message you isn't blocked in Settings > Messages > Blocked.
Make sure that the contact you're trying to send a message to is registered with iMessage.
If the issue occurs with a specific contact or contacts, back up or forward important messages and delete your current messaging threads with the contact. Create a new message to the contact and try again.
If the issue occurs with a specific contact or contacts, delete and recreate the contact in the Contacts app. Create a new message to the newly created contact and try again.
Back up and restore your device as new.

Hi there. I have the ipad 3, and just last night had to reboot and do the upgrade, now my texting and facetime on it is not working...it states that when I click to activate it, and put in my user id(email) and passcode....that" could not sign in...please chekc network connection and try again".....well my Wifi connection is fine, and i can text and facetime fine from my iphone..just not the ipad now.....any ideas why it will not take my user id and passcode?...the passcode works fine on my iphone.

Group Messages Not Working between Android and iPhone Users on iOS7
Hi there,
I am a former iPhone user. I recently converted both my line and my wife's line from the IPhone 5 to a Motorola X Android phone. We kept our same phone numbers, but we completely switched from Verizon to AT&T. I have noticed that text messaging works perfectly on an individual basis when I correspond with individuals who have the iPhone, but Group Messaging is not working correctly. I am able to send messages to a group and they receive them just fine, but when they respond back to me, I do not receive their responses (as it appears they are going through as iMessages). My wife is having the same issue on her phone. After doing some detective work, I have found that hundreds of other users are having the same issues on their smartphones when they make the switch from an Apple product to an Android phone. There are a variety of "bug fixes" listed on the web, but I have completed all of them and I am still having the same issue. Here is what I have done so far...
*Factory reset both of our phones and removed the SIM cards (since we are with a new phone carrier)
*Changed both of our apple ID passwords
*Removed both of our phone numbers from Apple's database all together
*Unregistered both of our iPhone products with Apple
*Had all of my friends/family switch SMS to "On" in their Settings tab
So now what? I read one post on an Apple forum that said that they are aware of the issue and we can expect a fix in a future iOS update...but when is that going to occur, if at all? It is problems like these that led me to leave Apple all together, and here I am after having left the company, and I am still left high and dry searching for solutions to my problems. Who can help, and how can I remedy the situation?

Thanks.There are reports of iOS7 altering the settings on iMessage's connection to the iPhone. Verify that each of the iPhone and the Mac is receiving on the "channel" (phone number or email address) on which the other is initiating iMessages.

Do you mean the bottom left of the Main Messages window where th Chat are shown , but below the list of Open Chats/Conversations ?
This will normally List the accounts that are logged in.
Check Messages > Preferences > Accounts to see if your Jabber account is logged in.

I tried to use the FM HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION in ZXPADU02 but I found that it will
not update data in the real DB table(PAXXXX).I found that in FM 'HR_MAINTAIN_MASTERDATA' from FM 'HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION' will set the field 'PSPAR-PBPFL' as 'X'.
In standard program, it looks like if this field is set it will not do the logic to update the DB table. So I put the code in other report and then call in the ZXPADU02. I think it's about LUW.

Group Message not working iPhone 6/ iOS 8
I am not able to receive group messages after I updated to iOS 8.0.2 I just activated my iPhone 6 about 3 weeks ago (Before the Apple pay update). It was working fine until I updated the software with the Apple Pay. Initially I thought ALL the group messages are not working. After few trials I realized it was only the case when the group included both iPhone and non-iPhone users. Groups with ALL iPhone users is working fine.
I have checked everything possible, but nothing works.
- Turned off-on iMessages
- Turned off-on Group messages
- Reset Network Setting
- Erased and Reset the Entire phone from Phone settings (Now operating on iOS8.1)- still not working
- Called my carrier and they didn't seem to understand why I was having this problem
I then spoke with Apple Support who ran few diagnostic tests and they didn't find anything. They suggested that I re-set the phone to brand new phone (with out iCloud back-up) via iTunes (not from phone settings) and see if that will fix this. I will try this later tonight and see if I have any luck.
I tried telling customer service that I want to return my phone and get a new one- but they seemed to keep me away from that option.
