Very frustrating to spend the premium investment in Apple products then to be told a perfectly good product is " out of warranty to repair.

Apple (and no one else) can not assist (with serial number or iCloud) in finding a lost or stolen iPad.

Why can't I just do this...

I will be upgrading to a mac pro soon, and I was reading around on topics regarding itunes library transfer. Why can't I just drag my current user/music file to the user/music file on the new computer? I know I will be resetting all of my preferences, but this way sounds logical to me, will it work?

The migration works like this:
When you first power on the Mac Pro, it opens a setup assistant. The setup assistant asks you if you want to transfer stuff from another Mac. It then has you put your old Mac into a special mode that allows it to be used as an external disk on the new Mac. More info is here and here.
If your old computer doesn't have the data on it anymore, you may be out of luck though. I don't know if it will transfer settings from a FireWire disk. If the disk is an exact clone of the hard drive in your old Mac, it might.

Well, since you've had the same problem, with three different phones, that all use different size sim cards, it seems pretty obvious the problem is with your carrier/coverage & nothing to do with your phone or sim card.

There are way too many posts on this forum from people who buy used iPhones on eBay and who then have problems. I would second wjosten's suggestion to return the phone, get a refund and buy a phone from an authorized dealer.

Create and delete iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch backups in iTunes - Apple Support - link doesn't state that voicemail is part of the backup
iCloud: iCloud storage and backup overview states that VVM is part of the icloud backup.
You can also contact your cell phone provider - as voicemail is a carrier feature.

I am trying to patch an 9.2.0.1 database to 9.2.0.3.
When i start Oracle Universal installer and specified the locations i got the following error:

Please close any running applications before continuing.
All services are stopped from the service panel! In the taskmanager there isn't any program running associated with Oracle. What is the hidden program that prevents my installation?

I guess this is Windows, try the following:
1) Rename $ORACLE_HOME\bin to something else
2) Reboot the machine
3) Rename back to $ORACLE_HOME\bin
4) Try installation again

My cursor keeps blinking every 30 secs or so even when no app is being used. How can I stop this?

I hope you can help me with this. Just today, my cursor keeps on blinking (or loading?) every 30 seconds or so for no reason at all. At first I thought it was the auto-save for my MS Word, but even after I closed it, it's still blinking even when I'm not
using any apps. Tried killing spooler in task manager as I saw in other forums but it's still blinking.
Would very much appreciate your help.
I'm using a Toshiba Satellite L40D-A, Windows 8.

Thanks for the question. This alert usually appears if there is debris in your dock connector. Check to make sure it is free of any debris:
“This cable or accessory is not certified and may not work reliably with this iPhone."
"This accessory is not supported by this device."
If either of these alerts appear and nothing is connected to the dock connector, make sure that the dock connector is free of debris.

Strange font issue. Fonts other than my default fonts set in preferences are being used. How can this be fixed?

Fonts that should be showing up as Helvetica are showing up as Wubble. In my preferences/content I have my Proportional: Serif; Serif: Times; Sans-Serif: Helvetica; and Monospace: Courier. Everything was fine until I upgraded to 6.

This common login is supposed to be one reason why Adobe can't implement NNTP. But what function does it serve? I've commented in another thread, and below is more or less, what i said there...
That, i think, was the most assinine idea anyone ever came up with. I see no reason for not having separate log ins for store and forums / downloads. In fact, i can't think of one good reason to combine the two.
If i were a user of the Adobe store, i would definitely prefer to have a separate login and password for that area. I think most people would. I see a lot of aliases in the forums. In the store, you'd want to use your real name for tax and audit purposes. Moreover, what's to stop people creating two identities anyway? So, the whole purpose of a common id is meaningless.
Am sure, that even at this stage, it wouldn't be too difficult to separate the two. For instance, whenever i open the forums i see a welcome at the top of the screen. Right above 'Home'. Yet, i still have to login to the forums... what give? Idiotic.
Adding to the above, doing away with this single log in would also mean an end to this frustration of suddenly getting logged off, randomly staying logged in, etc., etc.
