TS2972 I can't seem to record transferred playlists, even single songs. Why?

I just began to share my iTunes music with other Mac computers in my home. My problem: my disk drive has always been intermittent in my main Mac book.
I tried to transfer songs and playlists to my Mac pro to copy playlists to record to CD. It doesn't respond when either I try to create a new playlist, or burn a transferred song. What am I doing wrong? Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Are you trying to drag songs onto playlists into your library or playlists that are already stored on your iPod? What happens when you try to add them? Are sure you aren't trying to add songs to Smart Playlists?

Sorry if i wasn't more clear but was that response needed?No it wasn't needed, but I'm not the one asking for help so I have the luxury of not worrying too much about it. It's extremely frustrating trying to drag relevant information out of someone, and makes one less inclined to bother.
Anyways, there's still nothing in this thread that actually explicitly says "there is a file called VolcanoApp.java in the directory where I'm running javac from" and I really can't be bothered banging my head against the wall any longer. You've made a silly mistake, or a false assumption. We all do it from time to time. My advice is, take a break, go for a walk and re-visit this in a while. You'll probably spot the mistake right away.

Had this problem for quite a while but found a work-a-round. I click anywhere in the text I want to delete and insert any character. I am then able to block and delete any text I want to. It's been working great.

Can't seem to record anym

Ever since I installed my Soundblaster X-Fi Platinum, I have been unable to record with my microphone. I've tried tweaking all kinds of settings with the Windows volume control, but that doesn't work. I know it's not a problem with the microphone, because I can plug it into the Line-In slot and use my speakers as a PA system. But I still can't find any way to record any sound, and as a musician this disturbs me quite a bit. Let me know if there's anything I've missed.

I don't have an X-Fi, but I'll try to get the ball rolling and perhaps someone more knowledgeable will chime in. First, are you using the flexijack on the rear panel or Mic2 on the IO dri've/console? And I'm sorry if this is too simple a question, but have you checked that the appropriate microphone input is selected as your recording source in the Creative Surround Mixer (name might be different for X-Fi)? Also, in Control Panel, Sounds & Multimedia (or similar name), Audio tab, is your X-Fi selected as the default/preferred Playback and Recording device?

I have one apple ID but have multiple devices and multiple passwords. i can't seem to limit it to ONE single password.

each time i log in with my apple ID on a device it says password incorrect and i have to go through 2-step authentication to get a new password. this will work until i need to log into a different apple device with the same apple ID in which case i am told my password is incorrect and i have to create a new password. how can i make my ONE apple ID have only ONE password? thanks!

After you change your account's password you may need to log out of it on all of your devices (tap on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store) and then log back in with the new password so as to 'refresh' the account on them.

I can't seem to move/change the order of songs within my customized standard playlist.

Somehow the order of songs in my customized Standard Playlist is locked. iTunes won't let me change the order. Is there some Preference or default that makes them locked into position? The playlists created by iTunes allows me to drag songs up or down but my Playlist won't.

If shuffle is selected on for the playlst, you won't be able to re-order the songs. Turn shuffle off and try again.

the x1222 includes a 2 channel audio interface, 2 channels are all you can get from it.

On the new laptop, launch iTunes. From the menu bar click Store / Authorize This Computer.

I really need this issue resolved it is driving me insane!!! How can the images appear perfectly fine on my laptop then when transferring over to a USB stick they just corrupt!?

Can see only 1 record in DSO

Hello Gurus,
I transferred successfully 200 records from flat file to PSA and viewed them in PSA. Then I transferred them with a DTP to a DSO. In "Manage" option I can see that 200 records have been transferred but when I click on "Display Data" option, I see only 1 single record. Why is this so?

Hi Sebastin,
        DSO will overwrite the info objects that are placed in Data fields if the info object placed in the key fields are same. So, Check the records in the flatfile if they have the same characteristics for all entries. If it so, then DSO will overwrite those records that are having the same entries.
      If you are using the routines in transformation, then check whether you are filtering the data.

I have the same problem you have with a large 52 min video on my ipad that all of the PC file managers do not see, even though they see all of the other videos on my ipad. I have tried importing etc., and I always just get everything except the large file in question. I have a 13 GB (16-used elsewhere?) ipad, and I believe that the 52 min movie takes all but 700 MB of my 13 GB.
An associate at the Apple store near me told me to try Kodac EasyShare instead of the windows applications, but I don't think that is a good answer. I have not tried it because one of my old computers uses a Kodac application to offload pictures from an old camera, and that is not a good application. (It works, but is slow and does not really provide me with anything I can't do better with Windows Explorer. And I don't like the way it works).
But that is my only option right now. I got a reply from Texas Mac Man, but he only referred me to standard methods. He does not seem to understand that this large video defies the usual methods. I did find a place where it was stated that the Import feature can only get files up to 500 Megabytes. I have reason to believe that my video is about 12 GB.
By the way, you probably have found that you also cannot trim your large video. It seems that the ipad looks at the size and balks at that. Mine says it can't trim because the file is too big. That is before it even asks me if I want to trim the original or create a new sub-video. But you might try trimming your video into smaller parts if your ipad will let you do that. I think the import problem definitely has something to do with the size of the video. You could always put the video back together again with a decent movie application. (I use the one that comes free with Windows 7 called Microsoft Movie Maker or somehting like that.) But unfortunately most of my valuable ipad movies were taken so that they show up upsidedown on most viewing applications, except the ipad. There is probably an application that will fix that, but I have not found it yet.
Please let me know if you find a solution to this large video problem. I need to free up space on my ipad if nothing else, so I can't wait too long to delete this 52 min thing from the ipad.

Here we have three options for delta updation:
Time Stamp:   If we want to update change in the records with respect to the time interval then this option is selected.
Calend. Day:   If we want to update change in the records with respect to day to day basis then this option is selected.
Numeric Pointer: If we want to update in case of record which is completely new with respect to Field name then we use this option.
And we have got some settings like:
Safety Interval upper limit:
This field is used by Data Sources that determine their delta generically using a repetitively-increasing field in the extract structure.
The field contains the discrepancy between the current maximum when the delta or delta init extraction took place and the data that has actually been read.
Leaving the value blank increases the risk that the system could not extract records arising during extraction.
Example: A time stamp is used to determine the delta. The time stamp that was last read is 12:00:00. The next delta extraction begins at 12:30:00. In this case, the selection interval is 12:00:00 to 12:30:00. At the end of extraction, the pointer is set to 12:30:00.
A record - for example, a document- is created at 12:25 but not saved until 12:35. It is not contained in the extracted data but, because of its time stamp, is not extracted the next time either.
For this reason, the safety margin between read and transferred data must always be larger than the maximum length of time that it takes to create a record for this DataSource (with a time stamp delta), or it must display an interval that is sufficiently large (for determining delta using a serial number).
Safety Interval Lower Limit
This field contains the value taken from the highest value of the previous delta extraction to determine the lowest value of the time stamp for the next delta extraction.
For example: A time stamp is used to determine a delta. The extracted data is master data: The system only transfers after-images that overwrite the status in the BW. Therefore, a record can be extracted into the BW for such data without any problems.
Taking this into account, the current time stamp can always be used as the upper limit when extracting: The lower limit of the next extraction is not seamlessly joined to the upper limit of the last extraction. Instead, its value is the same as this upper limit minus a safety margin. This safety margin needs to be big enough to contain all values in the extraction which already had a time stamp when the last extraction was carried out but which were not read. Not surprisingly, records can be transferred twice. However, for the reasons above, this is unavoidable.
Data Source Is Real-Time Enabled
The 'real time enabled' indicator determines whether a delta-enabled Data Source can be used as a supplier of data for a real-time daemon.
And there are two options provided like
1)     New Status for changed records:
If you select this option each record to be loaded delivers the new status for the key figures          and characteristics. DataSources with this delta type can write to ODS objects or master data tables.
2)     Additive Delta:
The key figures for extracted data are added up in BW. Data Sources with this delta type can supply data to ODS objects and Info Cubes.

check for IDOC's in BD87 and just see if any thing is pending or not...
if yes then execute them manually.
Also check SM58 and is some LUW are waiting process them manully if possible.
Also try to see the job log in the spource system in SM37 for the user ALEREMOTE and go inside each job and check the one for your data source...and check where it is stuck.
also check for teh system connection and try to see if the jobs are running for other data source.
Also check if the job in BW is running in SM37 for this data load or not.
You can try to cancel all the jobs in BW...turn the total status of the request to RED and then delete it and execute the infopackage..it will ask for repeat and you can repeat the load.
If DTP then just schedule the DTP after deleting gthe request.
