Home Sharing on my apple tv will not recognize home sharing. ive checked all setting and everything seems to be right.
it recognizes my ipad and pc, but it wont connect. ive watched full seasons on my wifi

try this.
get back into your router's settings and start deleting devices that are not connected to your router.
you can also delete the ones that are connected - they'll connect again.
on the DHCP side of it, increase the amount of users that can connect/log in to your router.
see if that sorts it out for you.

My iPhone 4s will not connect with my home WiFi network. I have ios6 on my iPhone. The connection was working perfectly before I updated my IMac and my MacBook Pro to ios 10.8.2. I have had ios6 since I purchased the phone a couple of months ago. It searches for a network and finds them, but when it asks for my password, it will not accept the password. Have never had this happen before.

My ipod will not connect to my home wifi, it can see it and asks for a password but will not connect. I have tried it at another location and it will connect to other wifi connections. I have another ipod that is connecting just fine to my home wifi.
- Reset the iPod. nothing is lost

As long as you have two apple routers then it is up to you which way you do it.
You can connect them by ethernet and use it setup as roaming network.. for wireless.. it will simply be bridged on the router side. Ethernet is much the faster solution.
But if you want to use wireless link that is also fine if the range is not too great. Then ethernet to the computer.. so you effectively have a wireless bridge...
so, Cablemodem----Airport Extreme- - - - - - - -wireless link- - - - - Time Capsule------computer
Where the more solid lines are ethernet.. that is possible setup. And using the TC directly on ethernet to the computer will keep your backup speed good while also giving you hopefully your full internet speed so that works well. -

My iPad will not connect to my home wifi network? I tried turning off wifi on the iPad, & turning off the device itself. I also tried turning off my router. Today I tried re-setting wifi on the General section of Settings. Nothing seems to work.
This occurred on Sat. when I was trying to download books from a public library. I lost the wifi connection, & it would never join the network again, so I told the device to Forget this Network.
I have another iPad2 which connects to my wifi just fine. The iPad that doesn't connect, does connect fine to other networks.Have you tried a Reset of Network Settings on the Device...

TS1388 Macbook will not connect to my home WiFi
I have an interesting situation. I have home WiFi set up in that is working fine - I know this because my iPhone connects to it without any problems. My Macbook always connected fine as well up until a week ago and all of a sudden will not connect to it. There is an exclamation point over the WiFi symbol. The WiFi setting is definitely turned ON and I can connect to my hotspot, but for some reason it will not connect to the home WiFi option. I have a brand new Macbook Pro and have done all of my software updates offered. My iPhone still connects to the home WiFi with no problems, so I know it is not a router problem.
Is there a setting on my MacBook that would prevent me from connecting to just this particular WiFi that could have gotten messed up accidently?Hey ashleeburke

Most minor Wi-Fi issues can be resolved by simply powering off all devices, and power cycling your router/modem:
Restart your network devices.
Powering your modem or router off for a few seconds and then on again may resolve network issues without any additional troubleshooting. If you have phone service through your ISP, power cycling your modem may interrupt that service. You may need to contact your ISP in order to restore your phone service if your modem is reset or powered off. Ensure that you have alternative means to contact your ISP (such as a cell phone) to avoid unnecessary delays in restoring your Internet or phone service.

My brand new iphone5 will not connect to my home wifi even though it recognizes it. My ipad and my old iphone4s connect with no problem. Any thoughts?
Although your other devices connect okay, it would be worth resetting your router by switching if off for disconnecting it from mains power for 2 minutes and then switch it on again.

I have just updated the i06 software for my iPad and it will not connect to my home wifi network - all my other devices are able to connect to my wifi network.
I have attempted all troubleshooting actions suggested and nothing has worked. I have restored my iPad network and factory settings - Please help - this is frustrating meyou have to set up your router to solve th problem. first find and write down the ipad mac address.
then log on to your router using your laptop or any device that can connect to router at 192.168.0.1 in your web browser. please check out my posting about how to resolve the wifi connection problem.
i think the ios6 update has reset the networking but if you set up the router then you should not have the same problem any more. -

My iPhone 4 will not connect to my home wi-fi network, and it doesn't take me to the password as it used to do. Comcast is my internet provider.
If you can see your home WiFi network inside Settings>WiFi, then press the blue arrow to the right of it, and on the next sreen press "Forget this network".
Now go back so that you see your network again, then press on it and you should be prompted for the password. -

I suspect the only reason the iPhone were still connected to the Linksys network is that they were before I "upgraded to iOS 6. Even after 6.0.2 the iPad and both iPhones will not connect to some home networks (its random) although thye will connect to public networks e.g. McDonald's, Panera, etc.

My new Iphone will not connect to my home wi-fi, unless I am standing beside the router. Why is this and how do I fix it? I have previously connected it to another hub before trying to connect to my home wi-fi. Would this of had an effect?
If you have connected to other wi-fi successfully, then your wi-fi should be working. Try power cycling the router. Disconnect it from power for about 30 seconds and then restart it. After it has come back, try connecting again.

Despite trying the recommended trouble shooting options, my I pad will not connect to our home Wi-Fi network. The problem only started occurring this morning, and although it will recognise the Wi-Fi network, it will not connect.
Any other options I can try????Try rebooting the router. Just pull the power for a few seconds. No settings are lost.
