After migrating data from Time Machine, some of my photos are not showing up in iPhoto LIbrary view. I get a 'dashed rectangle." When I click on it I get ' ! in a Triangle" When I click on that, I actually can see the photo. I want to see all my photos in 'Library' view, and I can't figure out how these photos seem to be arbitrarily hidden. Help, please.

I bought the season 7 pass for Doctore Who, but the new episodes are not showing up for download. I've been all over the support page, I even looked up my purchase history and there is are none showing and I even bought last weeks episode, The Bell's of St. John. Who can I contact to find out why I'm not getting the rest of season 7 for download?

ChristyQGarmin is sending you to Apple because it is Apple that would have to give you a refund as the actual point of sale. However, Apple states all sales are final.
Apple is sending you to Garmin because it is Garmin's fault their maps are out of date and Apple doesn't write the software. They may not even be looking that deeply and simply perceiving it as a programming "bug" it is up to Garmin to solve.
Who know whose fault it is that Garmin isn't getting up to date data to put in their maps.
Ultimately I think you stand the best chance in getting a refund from Apple though it isn't guaranteed. Apple is the cashier. You just have to convince them this isn't just a line of code omitted from an application and isn't something that will be soon corrected by Garmin. Make it clear it isn't a problem with the application running on your device, it is a problem with the data it contains. Either that or you have to hope Garmin will feel so bad about it they will delve down into their slush fund and send you a refund. -

i tried creating a regular music playlist then putting videos on it
my music videos show up fine but all my video podcasts dont come up at allHave you checked the video section on the iPod? Videos must be played from the video section otherwise all you get is sound.

I am a novice web designer and I need help!
The above site listed is the site I am currently working on. As you can see the menu bar...is not a menu bar at all but a long list of links along the left side.
HOWEVER, when I click on LIVE VIEW in DreamWeaver everything looks fine.
There should be 7 total menu bars with 7 Dropdown menu options each (except on the bottom menu bar which there will only be 4 I believe)
What am I doing wrong??Thank you so much for your help!This matter is certainly closed.
I just want to add, however, that somehow my Spry Assets folder was placed somewhere outside of the rest of my files! no wonder I was confused.

Have you tried resetting your iPod:
Reset iPod touch: Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
Next would be to unsync the music and then try syncing the songs to the iPod
- Last would be to restore from backup. -
Some Photos in Library are not showing on iPhoto
I imported some photos from another Mac to my MacBook Air and organized them in several events. All went well until I had a large number of photos (and some videos) which took a long time to transfer and iPhoto was not responding for over an hour. I forced quit the iPhoto and now when I go back, I see the events that I had created but they are empty (photos are not showing). When I tried to re-import the photos, it says the photos are duplicate which I assume it means photos exist in the photo library. My question is how do I get the photos existing in the library to be visible on iPhoto. Thanks.
Back up your iPhoto library, Depress and hold the option (alt) and command keys and launch iPhoto - from the resulting first aid window repair permissions and if necessary rebuild your database

I'm editing the video of a presentation one of my clients has delivered, I'm adding the slides of the presentation in as photos from iphoto, the problem is that some of the photos are now showing up in the video even though they have been added. Also where photo number 7 should be it is showing photo number 12? I really need to sort this out and need help. How do I get the photos to show and show properly in the right place?
Thank you in advanceI've got a list of things to look at and tryout to see if we can narrow down what's happening. Try any one in any particular order see if the problem keeps happening.
1. What format are the original photos in?
Are the all the same?
If they are different, do some work and others do not?
File formats that are “raw” may be a problem.
File size may also be a problem if they are very large files.
2. Duplicate the project in the Project Library
Try dragging a photo into that copy of the project
Any differences? If you can import photos into the Duplicate, try copying then pasting into the original and see if the image shows up.
3. Duplicate a picture inside of iPhoto
If you want to have a particular picture and can find it within iPhoto try making a duplicate.
Does it show up in the Photo browser? And can you drag that duplicated picture into the project? What do you see, what result do you get?
4. Clean the iMovie cache
Quit out of iMovie. Then go to your Movies Folder > iMovie Events > Project folder name
Drag the folder "iMovie Thumbnails" to your trash. Then open the folder "iMovie Cache" and drag the file "Cache.plist" to the trash.
This should regenerate any cached thumbnails for the project, may be helpful.
5. Try tossing out the iMovie preferences
Quit iMovie.
Open a Finder window to your user's Home folder>Library >Preferences folder. Find the file named "com.apple.iMovie.plist" or "com.apple.iMovieAppl.plist" and move it to the trash.
Try opening iMovie again, then opening the project and dragging a photo from the Photo Browser into the Project timeline. -

Three days ago I went to a post from last year and an image was gone. The code was there but not the image.
It doesn't get rid of all the images just certain ones and they are consistently gone. It is not a random deletion of images.

It is possible that you clicked "Block Images" in the right click context menu while trying to save an image.
Check the image exceptions: Tools > Options > Content: Load Images: Exceptions<br />

*A way to see which images are blocked is to click the favicon (<i>Site Identification</i> icon) on the left side of the location bar.
*A click on the "More Information" button will open the Security tab of the "Page Info" window (also accessible via "Tools > Page Info").
*Open the <i>Media</i> tab of the "Page Info" window.
*Select the first image and scroll down though the list with the Down arrow key.
*If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "<i>Block Images from...</i>" then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain. -
Podcast episodes are not showing up in iTunes
My podcast “Dimsum Mandarin” was submitted to iTunes on Aug 4, and all was well until these two weeks. Episode 8 was uploaded on Sep 4, but have yet to show up in the feed, as can be seen in the screen cap attached. A new episode 9 was also uploaded on Sep 11, and have not showed up so far either.
The feed is burned through feedburner at http://feeds.feedburner.com/DimsumMandarin-LearnMandarinChinese.
Subscriptions still seem to work though.
It would be greatly appreciated if any kind soul could point me in the right direction to solve this issue.
Thanks lots!well, i never got a reply directly to my question, but i was directed by email to post my problem within itunes... go to the podcast page of my podcast and then select "report a concern"... i always thought this was to report offensive podcasts, but if you click on that button you'll see a pull down list with a bunch of problems... i selected "difficulty downloading" and then explained the problem completely... as i said, i never heard back from anyone, but about 4 days later my podcast episode showed up... and this past wednesday we uploaded the latest episode and it showed up in the iTMS almost immediately... go figure?!
if anyone's interested, the podcast name is Schnauzer Logic and its comedy and talk and music and pop culture (i used to be the host of a morning show)... good for a giggle once a week for a couple of hours.

On iTunes, my library says that I have a lot of songs on my device that do not show up on my actual iPod touch. These songs disappeared from my iPod when I plugged it in, then they showed back up, but with a red square and circle, and now, after syncing and autofilling, they are gone again. Songs are not showing up on my ipod, even though...
So I have a playlist on my ipod with 35 podcasts in it. I manually loaded the podcasts. When I connect to my computer I can see the songs on the ipod and play them on my computer. However, when I turn on my ipod and go to that playlist it is empty. I cannot find the podcasts anywhere (viewing by song or artist does not show them). The files are MP3 and I have the latest iOS. Any help?
In the Event mode use the View ➙ Sort ➙ By Date ➙ Decending menu option. Then the latest imports will be near the top of the Event window (depending on when the photos were taken of course).
Or Control-Click on one of the thumbnails in the Last Import album and select Show Event from the contextual menu:

Why are my audiobooks showing up in my iTunes but they are not showing up on my iPod nano?
So I downloaded an audiobook from an online source that is not from the iTunes store, but it is showing up in Books in the latest version of iTunes. I synced my iPod, and when I go into my Audiobooks in my iPod, it says that I don't have any. What is the problem? And how do I fix it?!?!
Have you double checked to make sure these Audiobooks are configured to sync to your iPod from under the iPod's Books configuration tab in iTunes?
To access this configuration tab, plug in your iPod and select it from under the Devices section in the left hand pane of iTunes to bring yourself to the iPod's Summary tab. Now locate the Books tab and select it. Here you can configure what and how audiobooks are synced to the device.
If you make any changes to this tab, make sure to hit the Apply button on in the lower right hand corner.

I cannot import bookmarks because I don't have the "File Import" command in my drop down menu.
To import bookmarks from another application, you must use the drop down menu command "File>Import". I don't have that command in my menu in Firefox.
