TS3195 When I transfer my photos to my computer, I'm not getting the entire picture...
What am I doing wrong? I transferred all my pictures to my computer and some of the pictures are only half or 1/4 of the picture.. Rather upsetting and I don't know what to do... Please help...

This may be related to a new feature embedded in iOS7 that shows all purchased music by default. Go to Settings > Music, then turn off Show All Music. See if the issue ceases once the feature has been disabled. This information is located on page 63 of the user guide below.

iPad Air iOS8.0.2. I used the photos app to edit my photos and created a new album for them. When I transfer my photos to my PC via cable (not allowed to use cloud services by my boss) I cannot choose this edited album, only transfer the unedited versions. Any tips? Thanks!

when trying to download photos from my digital cameras I keep getting the message that pics can't be downloaded because of an "unrecognizable format". It shows that they are all jpeg files. One camera is a Canon, the other a Panasonic. I have had these cameras for a few years and have never had a problem downloading.
I am having the same problem which has happened very infrequently before. Generally it's one photo and happened when my battery died.
However today I tried to download six photos.
None would download including several others for a total of 21 that would not download.
Since I had just installed a new powered hub and added three new external 4T hard drives, I got concerned that it was the hub. Then got really worried that I'd have problems with the data I have been backing up.
However following this sequence of events, I've determined it's not the hub, but still don't know what is causing the problem.
(1) Put a fresh battery in the camera - same results
(1.5) Used a different port in the new hub - same results
(2) Put the card in the card slot in the back of my iMac - no problems except that one image I knew about last week. The six new images imported.
(3) Tried again using the cable - still same error
(4) Changed cables - my husband has the same camera - still same error
(4) Put the card in his camera with his cable - still same error
(5) Put the card in a card reader and used the same slot in the new hub - no problems - same one wouldn't import but message that there are no new photos to import.
(6) Moved the offending one image to the Trash while the card was in the card reader
(7) Put the card back into my camera and used my cable. iPhoto had no error and displayed the message there are no new photos.
Conclusion:
Not the camera
Not the cable
Not the hub
Must remove bad photo from the card
However, I have not had to do that before. I went through several imports on vacation when there was one bad image and just ignored it each time.
Any idea why this is happening now?

When I try to Bookmark a new page, I do not get the "Page Bookmarked or Edit This Bookmark" window. I t does place the site into my bookmarks but I have to go to "organize" bookmarks in order to put it where it belongs.
How are you saving a new bookmark?
There 5 ways to save a new Bookmark in Firefox, the first 4 should offer to save the new bookmark in a folder:
1.
2. Right-click and select Bookmark this Page.
3. Bookmarks > Bookmark this Page
4. Double-click the Star that is on the right side of the Location bar.
4a. (A single-click on the Star will save the new Bookmark to the Unsorted Bookmarks folder, without opening the Edit this Bookmark dialog.)
5. Drag the website image in the URL bar into the Sidebar view of Bookmarks
or to the Bookmarks menu bar item and then into the drop-down or onto the Bookmarks Toolbar -

one of the apple forums said that iox is "expanvie" and gave us tips on how to lengthen battery life. i was already doing all that stuff. so it seemed to me that apple was just taking the stand that ios is just more "expansive." this is lipservice hogwash. if that is the case, then we need to get new phones with batteries strong enough to accommodate running these power apps and updates.

I have a dell computer and can not get the cloud to download photoes to it. What do I need to do?
I cannot get the photoes to download to my computer from the cloud. I tried to find thr file that the photoes are to bedownlowed too but itis not on the computer.

HT2534 When I try to download a free app I do not get the option of "none" for credit cards
I am setting a new Iphone 5c (company issued) I am going the setup and trying to download a free company app. All the instructions I have say to select "none" in the credit card section of the billing info. However, "none" is not showing up as an option on the phone.
Follow the instructions in the article exactly as the process is very specific. Also, you can only do this when creating a new Apple ID. You cannot use an existing one. If you need to use an existing Apple ID, you'll need to enter in some sort of payment method at least temporarily.

i have an ipad version 5.1.1. i have multiple albums in the ipad and i want to transfer some photos to my computer but when i open the ipad files via "computer" i can only see pictures from one of the albums.what should i do?
You can only import photos from the camera roll into the computer. Is that the album that you are seeing?
Any albums that you create on the device itself (the iPad that is) cannot be transferred to your computer. iPad created albums do not contain copies of your photos but merely pointers to those photos so they do not actually exist in those albums. -
My videos from my iphone are horrible when I transfer them to my PC. How can I improve the video on my PC? Can I just convert the files to WMV? When the video plays the speed is off, it's half slow-motion and staggers into normal play. The clips are slightly cut as well, the clips do not roll continuously. I'm taling about videos that are no more than 2 minutes long. I'm frustrated and I could really use some advice-my kids basketball games is what I'm recording and I'm trying to send them to my family (they are not very tech savvy). Thanks
Not it's only function but one for which it was most admirably suited, which is why I really hope someone can find a work around. I am hoping my post to the Apple feedback may prompt a useful response from Apple and I live in hope that my post here will elicit a useful response from another user. I did not miss the the text at the top of the feedback form but you presumably missed my initial text, 'someone here can explain' or my subsequent 'work around from another user'
Just in case anyone reading this has a large collection of music videos, video podcasts or iTunes U then DO NOT upgrade your iPad to iOS 5. If you are considering purchasing the iPad as a useful mobile device to experience these media organised in your iTunes please don't as you will be wasting your money. (unless someone on this forum knows of a way to undo the mess created by those infallible folks at Apple)

In the photos app I have 2 camera rolls and 1 photo gallery. Each new photo that I take gets stored in one of the camera rolls, but when I back up the photos to my computer it only backs up the one camera roll, and not any of the new picks. In the one I backed up I have 500 plus photos and the other over 1000. I need to back up the 1000 one- camera roll. Any help would be sincerely appreciated. Help .... Please

Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

When I connect my iphone four to my computer I no longer get the option to load photos from phone to computer. I think i have a driver problem as well. What should I do?
The AutoPlay function on the computer is controlled in Control Panel. Also, there needs to be current photos that have not been imported to the phone for it to start, and also the phone needs to be unlocked if you have a passcode on it. If you have not been prompted to "Trust" the computer on the iPhone and answered that, it will also make a difference.
Do you have the latest version of iTunes on the computer? What makes you think that you have a driver problem? You can take a look at Step 5 in this support document to see if that helps your driver problem. http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1538 -
