So i did the unlock got it all and checked on att and they said it was unlocked. i did the restore to ios 5.1 and activated it and all. when i put in my t-mobile sim it didnt even said there was no sim card install i checked the carrier and it says it is still on att 12.0 for carrier. what do i do?
1# Make sure you have an internet connection in iTunes.
2# An AT&T Real MicroSIM(not one that has been cut down) must be in the phone.
3# Restore in iTunes.

If your iPhone was hacked/jailbroken to use a different carrier then the update locks it back again to the original carrier.

If you don't have Find My iPhone on, you can't lock it. You should report it to your carrier and your carrier might blacklist the phone from use. -

Activation issues are almost always the result of a device that has been hacked or jailbroken. If that is the case, no support can be provided here.
The other possible issue is a device running the iOS7 Beta. If that is the case, and you are a developer, sign into the developers forums for assistance. If that is the case and you are not a developer, try google. -

If Apple's service database says that your iPhone was replaced, then Apple will no longer provide any service for that phone.
First, get a new SIM from your cell carrier and see if that corrects the problem. If it does not, try the usual steps for addressing software problems: restart, reset, restore.

If you try restoring from a backup and that doesn't fix the problem, try restoring to factory settings and, if the problem goes away, then sync back your apps and content. I recently bought an iPhone 5 from apple and it was factory unlock, but i had to sent it back for screen replacement and they sent me a new phone with new IMEI number and stuff, So my question is How do i make sure that my replacement iPhone 5 is factory unlock is there a way to do it?
Your carrier may be able to tell you, otherwise just try a SIM from another carrier.

I'm exhausted of trying to find a solution to a problem created by Apple. I have moved to icloud following all your instructions and now I can not use my mobile me e-mail address. I can not activate icloud because when I put my e-mail address it answers that somebody is already using my address. I have my old e-mails, but I can not receive any e-mail or send them.
I have contacted Apple Technical Support in Spain and I was sent an e-mail saying that I have to call a phone number and when I call it is always an answering machine who answers that says that I have to pay 50€ for a consultation or wait for 10 minutes. When I have made the consultation it was never mentioned that I have to pay 50€ for a phone consultation. If I don't want to wait I have to pay for the Apple Tecnical Support which cost 250 €, this was not mentioned in the technical support page.
Can somebody let me know how can I contact Apple in another way in order to talk with a human being or chat directly? I was very happy just using my mobileme e-mails, I didn't need any clouds and I was force by Apple to registered if I want to continue using my mobileme e-mail address.Sandra,

Upgraded pc to ios 7 but when syncing to iphone 4 it crashed. Phone is now in recovery mode but it nearly finishes recovery then stops with error 3014. Phone rendered useless until this is fixed. Help pls? I have tried many of the suggestions for the error code given. Im getting frustrated. I'm not a techno so would appreciate simple terms or ways of explanation. Thx!!

I switched off my Lumia 720, Removed the sim and reinserted it. While its switched On. It showed the message "Your phone is now in GSM mode". After that its only in GSM mode although the highest connection speed is in 3G. No problem from sim network. Any idea?Don't worry about it its just a connection mode what your carrier uses.
