TS3212 difficulties downloading itunes 10.7

I have been trying to update my itunes to itunes 10.7 for my laptop, but everytime i try doing that, an error message keeps coming up and keeps terminating the download, what do i do?

Perhaps check to see if you're accidentally running two different versions of iTunes. There's some information on troubleshooting that in the Opening iTunes section of the following document:

I am having severe difficulties in downloading itunes..... can any help.  Working on windows 7, and just keep getting various error messages.  Have uninstalled and tried reinstalling but still no luck

Check if the "Windows Modules Installer" service is started. If not, try to start it from the services console. If you receive an error "1450 Insufficient System resources" error, then follow this steps:
    1) Open regedit and replace the following value:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control
    Key: RegistrySizeLimit
    Type: REG_DWORD
    Value: 0xFFFFFF (4294967295)
    2) Reboot
    3) Open a command prompt as administrator and run SFC /SCANNOW to check the integrity of system modules.
    4) Install pending windows updates
I hope it fixes your problem

  • TS3212 i downloaded itunes on my windows 7 computer, but when i try running the setup file, it says it's not a valid win32 file. how do i fix this?

i just bought a brand new HP computer with the windows 7 and i'm trying to download itunes on my computer. I've used the email and a new one for the download. it'll go through the process of downloading the itunes setup, but when i go to the downloads folder in my computer and click on the file, it says it's not a valid Win32 file and won't open.  I've tried downloading the 64 bit version to se if that was the problem, but even that won't work.  please help!

Perhaps try downloading and saving a copy of the installer to a different PC. (If you're on a 32-bit Windows system, try to download on a different 32-bit Windows system.) Copy the iTunesSetup.exe installer to an external hard-drive, or a large-enough thumb drive or burn it to a CD-R. Carry the installer back to your PC, copy the installer to your hard drive. (Don't run the install from the ExHD, thumb or CD-R.) Start the install by doubleclicking the iTunesSetup.exe file.

  • Im having difficultie downloading Itunes 10 to my Windows 8 OS on an HP laptop computer can someone please help me. Thank you in advance.

I am attempting to download ITunes on my new computer which is Windows 8 OS. Unfortunately I continue to get an error indicating that the app could not be downloaded, another time it was only partially downloaded, I turned off the firewall and that still didn't help. Can someone please help me. My IPhone OS also needs to be updated. I could really use some of the communities expertise in this matter.  Thank you in advance.

iTunes 10 is not the current version.
Download and install the current version which is iTunes 11.  http://www.apple.com/itunes/download

I have a very similar problem.  I am running a new install of Windows 8.1.  When I install iTunes 64 bit I receive 2 similar pop-up error windows containing the following (note error code and error text differ "iTunes Helper" vs. "iTunes"):
    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Apple Application Support was not found.
Apple Application Support is required to run iTunesHelper. Please uninstall iTunes, then install iTunes again.
    Error 2
    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Apple Application Support was not found.
Apple Application Support is required to run iTunes. Please uninstall iTunes, then install iTunes again.
    Error 2 (Windows error 2)
    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
I've followed the instructions given in this post:
      download/install WinRAR
      extract iTunes64Setup
      double click AppleApplicationSupport.msi
When I run AppleApplicationSupport.msi, I receive the following error:
    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
    !   C:\Users\Charlie\Downloads\iTunes Extract - 2\iTunes64Setup\AppleApplicationSupport.msi: The archive is corrupt
    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
    Any ideas?

  • TS3212 cant download itunes on sony vaio windows 8

    I need help please
I purchased a sony vaio a few weeks ago with windows 8 now i cant seem to get my itunes to either download or to work
I initially installed itunes before i activated my norton internet security and i was able to get itunes to download and play music no bother but then when i plugged my iPhone 5 in to sync to the new computer it ended up having a few problems
    1. it either said that it couldnt sync due to an error code 0xE8004002
    2. it said it couldnt read my iphone and to restore to factory settings
on the first problem i just ejected the iphone and did a reboot and i reboot the computer also but then when i connected again i then got the second error
so i backed everything up on icloud that i could and then  tried to restore to factory settings but then another error came up saying that due to an unknown error i could not restore the iphone
i looked at forums and i saw that i should just manually restore from the iphone itself which i did but then icloud lost have my notes that i had but itunes recognised the phone and sync did start but then half way through said that songs could not be snyc'd due to an error and then all my music was greyed out and i couldnt play it
Then i had to begin again with all the errors of not connecting
i then read more forums and was advised to delete itunes then reinstall again.  I uninstalled but now i cant get it to reinstall again.  Internet explorer keeps saying download interupted when i get to 99% and it will not go any further and google chrome says pc doesnt allow download check internet settings
please help because im about going barmy with this

  • Difficulties downloading itunes 9.2 for ipod touch on Windows 7.  Help?

Sorry, this is in place of my previous post.
My son has upgraded his ipod touch to 4.0 and plugged it into itunes on his laptop. On laptop it says that you can't put music and apps on without getting the new version of itunes - 9.2. When he tried to download 9.2, halfway through the installing it said - status 'computing space requirements'. After about 30 seconds it said - could not access location - % app data % \ . Then came up with options: retry or cancel. He clicked on retry is and it just does the same thing again. Can anyone help. He thinks he might have lost all his music. Thanks.

    Hello silverlining1960,
    And welcome to Apple Discussions!
It sounds like are a couple of issues with your current iTunes installation. Try completely uninstalling it as well as all other Apple related software and starting from scratch using the instructions in the Apple support document below. Note that this does not erase any of the Media store on your computer.

  • My feed should be correct, but iTunes has difficulties downloading episodes

I do have a proper podcast feed, adapted to iTunes specs, as far as i can tell. But still, it says "we had difficulties downloading episodes from your stream". Please advise, this is my first try to submit my podcast. The feed is here: http://niklascarlsson.se/?feed=podcast

Your feed works perfectly well when subscribed to manually in iTunes. However I think the problem lies with your filenames - the most recent one is:
    avsnitt-3-på-språngmarsch-mot-den-svarta-veckan.mp3
If you enter the full URL in a browser it will substitute the code %C3%A5 for each å, but apparently the iTunes Store is not capable of this and is choking on the diacriticals. You should rename your files to avoid these and use only plain letters, numbers, underscores or hyphens. (It doesn't matter what the filename is from the point of view of the user since it doesn't show.)

    Please!
    Thanks!

If anyone is reading this still looking for what caused the issue and how to fix it here is what I discovered.
The antivirus program our company uses, Bitdefender Antivirus Plus, was causing some of the PDF files not to open. After troubleshooting the different modules and settings the culprit was..
Scan SSL in Privacy Control Settings. Turning it OFF solved the problem and all the PDF files that previously would not open now open just fine. This issue has been sent to Bitdefender for them to review. If you use a different antivirus program and are having this issue try locating the Scan SSL setting and see if turning it off solves the problem.

  • TS3212 Error message while downloading itunes

Trying to download itunes on my laptop with windows 7, getting an error message stating "Apple mobile device" not recognized.  My ipod is registered and the error message only asks to retry or ignore, niether works, any help would be great.

    many thanks.
Okay ... something may just have gone screwy with the permissions for your usual Windows user account. Unfortunately, that's a bit trickier to deal with on an XP system than on a Vista or 7 system.
Let's first try installing from inside a different Windows user account.
Create a new Windows user account with full administrative rights.
Log out of your usual user account, and log into the new user account. (Don't use fast user switching to move between the accounts.)
Try installing iTunes from inside the new user account.
If it installs, log out of the new account and log into the usual account.
Does your iTunes launch in there?

I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:

If you use Firefox instead of IE for the download (or vice versa), do you get a working installer?

Attempted download followed by message that iTunes was not installed correctly.  "Please reinstall iTunes  Error 7 (Windows error 126)".
