Thanks for the suggestion! I don't use Phantasm or VectorScribe (or any Astute Graphics plugins for that matter). I do, however, have a Wacom tablet and have a few plugins that concern using Blurb Book Creator as well as LiveSurface Context.
I did the very unfortunate and foolish act of upgrading to Maverick without a backup, so postponing isn't an option for me.
I geuss my question at this point would be, would it be worthwhile to wipe all the adobe products from my harddrive and re-install them? Or would that be a useless endeavor.
I don't have an external hard-drive so backing up and re-installing the entire OS would be a bit much. Any suggestions?

Such a problem is nothing to do with Mozilla but can have many causes including
* the site really is faulty - do other sites work ok ?
* the browser internet settings are wrong, or an ISP problem <br/> - do other browsers (such as Internet Explorer) work ok ?
* security software/ firewalls are blocking access - review their settings ?

I keep getting this message when I try to access the store. It says that the connection was reset and to make sure my internet connection is active. My internet IS active and I have downloaded the latest version of iTunes. Please help.

For some days, when i try to sync my iPhone, the itune show me this command prompt "itune could not back up "..... iPhone", because the backup was corrupt or not compatible with the iphone". I don't know why this msg is showing. If anyody know any solution please help me. I am very worried.

I can use the backup from my old iPhone4 but my most recent one from the 5S itself, before the ios update, always reports the same error.

Downloading image files from the server and saving them on local disk

In an AIR app. i want to download number of image files,i have paths
in an array.I am looping through the array and using URLLoader.Format
is BINARY,now on the complete event of one file i dont know how to
store the file on the disk as exactly which file has dispatched the
event is not known.Please point out if my approach is incorrect or if

You could also create a class that includes the event handler function and includes the code for loading the data. Then create a new instance of that class for each URL.

I want to upload and download files into and from the server; as we do it in yahoo attachments. Give the location of the file, click upload, it must upload the file to the web server and click on the uploaded file, it should get downloaded. i want to do this in Application server.
Can anyone help me on this please......

for a windown server u can use VNC (virtual network connection) which opens a session on u r desktop later u can drag and drop form there vice versa and for a linux box you can use Win SCP which helps to open a session with interface to u r desktop in both cases you can upload and down load files very easiy just as we drag and drop items in a simple pc .. we use the same technique...

I downloaded Firefox but can't open it. I keep getting "The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading" message. If it's a firewall issue, how do I change my firewall to accept Firefox?

I have used Firefox for a number of years but some time ago I got a virus on my computer. I loaded eset nod32, removed the virus and cleaned the old files etc. using ccleaner.com. Now I keep getting the "The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading" message and I haven't been able to use firefox since then. I have uninstalled and re-installed it several times with no avail. I suspect there is something in my windows frrewall stopping it.

If you want to check the Firewall, follow this-
1. Click Start Menu > Control Panel > Security Center.
2. Under the "Manage security settings for" click Windows Firewall.
3. On the Exceptions tab, do one of the following-
1. If Mozilla Firefox Firefox is there in the list, make sure it's checked.
2. If Mozilla Firefox is not there, close the Windows Firewall window.

After posting I see this question has the tag of "windows". I don't know if this applies to the Windows version or not.
The only time I see this message is if I download something, trash it, AND empty the trash. If I don't empty the trash, it finds it there. It will find it wherever I move it to, unless it is was in the trash and emptied.
Using Finder, is the downloaded file in your Downloads folder?
Maybe if you go to Safari/Preferences/General and change the location for downloads to something else then change it back to Downloads it might correct it.
