This is on the Apple ID manage and create page, this has happened to three of my accounts and I seem to get to the same exact spot and it just contradicts itself and won't let me log on at all. I have hooked up two E-mail accounts to the Apple Account and Vertified the accounts through the E-Mails sent to the external E-Mails but it still doesn't let me get into my Apple E-Mail at all.

I logged in changed the primary E-Mail address to a different one, vertified it then tried to log in it said either to send an E-Mail to veritify again or to do my security questions, so I choose to do the security questions and put in my Birthday like it asked and it said that it was wrong and I had to authenticate it to get in, why is it so hard to just set up a Apple ID really though!
So I tried the E-Mail to and it has not sent me an E-Mail then I tried to log in again and it has locked me out of my account so I try to recover my password and it gave me the same options to get my password back and both options are doing the same as before, it says I don't know my on birth date or it is wrong or needs authenticate it, then the E-Mail doesn't come through!
This is just stupid now.

Is it possible to "partition" Iphone or Ipad when syncing? What I would like to do is set up Itunes to use say 15GB for photos 15GB for music and 15 GB for video. Any help would be appreciated. Thx

I am using a Widows 7 PC with the latest Itunes. I would like to alot hard disc space on my 64GB Ipad2 as follows 15GB for music, 15GB for Video and 15GB for photos. I would then like Itunes to autofill from my PC. Can this be done? The same question also applies to my Iphone4. Thanks in advance

To my knowledge the iPod can only be used as a secondary monitor since you have to boot up the Mac and turn on the secondary display. You would still need a KB and pointing device for the Mac
However, you can log into the Mini from an iOS device like an iPad using app like LogMeIn, GoTo MyPC or TeamViewer on both the Mac and the iPad. You use the touch screen on the iPad for all control of the Mac.
As you said,that would be tedious for a lot of typing but you could use a BT keyboard for the iPad.

Hi, tried the Apple fix, installing the OSX combo update followed by the Safari update followed by the security update, nothing.
Tried the thing where you toss the mail program in the trash and then install the security update, nothing.
Is there anyone else who has a problem even after all trhe fixes suggested here and in Apple support?

Using Logic Pro 9 and Tascam DM-4800. Can't get the Tascam to work as a control surface via firewire... any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

The DM-4800 and Logic see each other, the firewire shows as 'locked' on both. Can pass audio back and fourth, no automation from the Tascam though. I know its either a midi setting or control surface settings... but I'm stumped. Newbie at Logic here. Any ideas what to check? Thanks in advance!

Sounds like a verification issue on whatever marketplace you bought PS Touch from. Did you try contacting Google or Apple to see what they say?

Get a black screen with a colored border saying that mozilla is not responding. Any help would be appreciated.

Start firefox and get to homepage . When proceeding to another link or page firefox stops responding and I get a black screen with a colored border stating at the top of the page that mozilla is not reponding. Try to go back to home page and mozilla shuts down. Any help would be appreciated. Prefer to use firefox over internet explorer in which case the problem is not duplicated. IE9 works fine. I created an account just to say that firefox is not what it used to be and I'm very disappointed in it and it's developers. I've been with firefox since the day of it's launch. Every new version after firefox 2 has been a let down--- what's the point when I get the same type of ridiculous crashes and freezes? What really annoys me is when I click "new" to create a new message to send within hotmail and it freezes for about 30 seconds to a minute. This happens every time without fail! I've updated a newer version 3 times and still the same thing. I've noticed that there have been more new releases, but I'm now convinced that it's only for show--- trying to stack up to Opera. Firefox copies off of Opera a lot, but it's too bad the developers can't copy it's stability. Who wants to have to read through forums looking for a fix... who has time for that? I don't want to, but I'm really considering leaving firefox for good. Please, get it together and FIX firefox.

On what computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 13 running on?
What are you (manually) or the project (automatically) setting as the project preset?
(See Edit Menu/Project Settings/General and the readings for Editing Mode, Timebase, Frame Size,
and Pixel Aspect Ratio (even if fields look grayed out).
What are the properties of these source media, including file extension? The brand/model/settings of the camera that recorded the
video may give us this information.
When the source media hit the Timeline for the first time, is there an orange line over their content? Or is there
no colored line and an orange line appears over them only after you have edited them?
Please elaborate on "poof" after rendering the Timeline content by pressing the Render button above the Timeline content with the orange line over it.

-- You say it is running 8.1 now, but your profile says 6.1.3, plse update your profile.
-- Did you download in Mac iTunes? or directly in the iPhone?
if in Mac iTunes: check the following Finder location: Startupdisk->Homefolder (yourname)->Library->iTunes->iPadSoftwareUpdates : the downloaded file should be there and be complete the extension should be .ipsw, if it is not there or not complete you should download again.
if in the iPhone: notice that the install phase and verifying phase and restarting phase need (good) internet connection.

If you have not been able to install iTunes because the Windows Installer service is not available, I would recommend the troubleshooting in the following troubleshooting to help.
Issues installing iTunes for Windows
These in particular:
Make sure you have an administrator account.
To install iTunes, you'll need to log in to your computer with an administrator password. If you're not sure if you have an administrator account, read Windows 7: How do I log on as an administrator? You could also refer to your computer's help system, contact your IT department, or visit support.microsoft.com for assistance.
Install the latest Microsoft Windows updates.
To download the latest updates, visit the Microsoft Windows Update website. iTunes for Windows requires Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8 with the latest Service Pack installed. Disable conflicting software.

Pearson put out a tech note on this today - the new versions of Java are what's causing the problem. If you can use Time Machine to rollback java prior to a java 7 or 1.6.0_37 version that will get you going again. I've been searching for hours for a place to download the older version but it seems Apple's site and Oracle all only have the latest release. Still trying to see if I have a copy downloaded on a system that hasn;t been updated to copy off to a network drive or usb and install the older version on to systems.

An update to Java for Mac OS X was released on October 16, 2012. An issue has been identified with this Java update (Java for OS X 2012-006) which prevents teachers from launching PowerTeacher Gradebook.
Teachers using PowerTeacher Gradebook should avoid taking this Java update to version 1.6.0_37 until notified that PowerTeacher Gradebook has been certified with this latest version of Java 1.6 for Mac OS X. PowerTeacher Gradebook will continue to work on Mac OS X workstations with Java version 1.6.0_35.
Additional communication will be provided once a workaround is identified or an updated version of PowerTeacher Gradebook is available.
