TS3212 Where do I find the Mac version for iTunes 10.6.3?

Since the newer iMacs are Intel based, does the one with the exe extension work for them also? I can't find the dmg version anywhere.
Thanks, Linda

Sorry, no good, that just takes you back to the main iTunes page.  However, on that page when I click at the bottom "Get iTunes for Windows" it toggles between the Mac and Windows download.

You would think they would be available from the download link location.

I agree and find it odd, but then, there is only the most rudimentary and superficial 'notes' -
iTunes 9 also includes many other improvements, such as HE-AAC encoding and playback, more flexibility with Smart Playlists rules, simpler organization of your media files inside an iTunes Media folder, and more.

  • Where do I find the previous version of iTunes

I recently installed iTunes 9.1.0.79 on a 32bit Vista Ultimate machine. This has got to be the buggiest version of iTunes I have ever seen (backing up my iPhone suddenly takes 20 to 30 minutes instead of the 5 or so it did prior to the upgrade, the backup never finishes since I get a message that "Yahoo Go Sync Client" has crashed, I never installed anything called Yahoo Go Sync Client but I see references to it in the iTune directories so this must be something iTunes installed itself). Is there somewhere that I can download whatever the previous version was and go back to something that was stable?

    I'm confused.
iTunes doesn't have any .lib file; it has an .itl file that is its database.
I have successfully downgraded itunes before by using a database file version that matches the itunes program version.
Instead of getting the frustrating message about the library being created by a newer version of itunes, my itunes library opened and everything was listed there, as well as ratings and play counts.
Your iphone not showing up in itunes is a completely different problem.

Make sure that the name is correct: libflashplayer.so

  • Where can I find the Mac address on somewhere other than my iPod touch? Like the box?

Where can I find the Mac Address for my iPod Touch? Is it on the box somewhere? I lost my iPod a while ago, but I was told that if I had the Mac Adress, I would be able to retrace it. Help!

You were told incorrectly.  Knowing the MAC address will not help you track your iPod.  The only way to track your iPod (and then only under limited specific conditions) is to have turned on Find My iPhone on the iPod before it was lost.

Where can I find the MAC Address of a Airport Extreme ?
I need this to extend the wi fi range in my home. I'm using a Motorola Cable modem and to extend with Airport Extreme, I need to set up inside Motorola the MAC Address of the Airport Extreme.

There are actually 3 MAC Addresses on an AirPort Extreme......1 for Ethernet, 1 for 2.4 GHz wireless and 1 for 5 GHz wireless.
You can normally see them by using AirPort Utility. The rub here is that the AirPort needs to be setup and working to be accessed by AirPort Utility.
The other approach is to look on the bottom of the AirPort. The newer AirPorts usually have this information in very small print, so a magnifying glass will probably be required. Other versions embed the numbers in the foam mat.
Note.....Apple uses proprietary settings for the their wireless "extend" feature.....designed to only allow other Apple devices to connect. So, it is extremely unlikely that the AirPort would be compatible with a 3rd party router if you are trying to use the AirPort to wirelessly extend the network.
Let us know if you are able to do this.

Where can I find the latest version of iOS?

Plug in your iPod to the computer, open iTunes, if it doesn't automatically say there is an update available then click "Check for Updates."  It'll update your phone.  Double check that it backs up first.  It would stink to have a problem and lose data.

Where can I find the update setting for my ipad 4 version?

The option to update without the computer (Over the air) was made available with iOS 5. If your iDevice is using a version of iOS lower than 5, you will need to use iTunes on your syncing computer to perform the upgrade. Use the Apple link below as a guide for the upgrade.

  • Where do I find the MAC address on my new Airport Express?

Where do I find the MAC address on my new Airport Express?  There's no label like there was on my Time Capsule (now dead).  I need to supply it to my ISP in order to get hooked up.  Thanks.

If you use AirPort Utility 5.6, you will find the MAC addresses under Manual Setup>AirPort>Summary.
There should be three MAC IDs: one for each of the wireless channels and one for Ethernet.

Where do i find the MAC address on my Airport Extreme?

Your AirPort Extreme has two MAC addresses, one for Wi-Fi, which is called the AirPort ID and another for the wired connection, called the Ethernet ID
Open Macintosh HD > Applications > Utilities > AirPort Utility
    Click Manual Setup
(Here, I am assuming that you are using AirPort Utility 5.6 for Mac OS X Lion )
The AirPort and Ethernet IDs are on the summary page

If you purchased it from the Mac App Store, there is no serial number I'm aware of. It's tied to your Apple ID rather than having a serial number or other key code.
