TS3212 Where is the iTunes 64 bit installer found?

After updating my iTunes I now receive the error mesage that my iPad cannot be used becvause it does not have the required software and I need to uninstall iTunes and re-install the 64 bit version of iTunes. I have now done this 10 times and cannot get it to work.
Can anyone please help me, this is driving me crazy!

The iTunes download page should auto detect the version of OS the computer is running and download the correct version.  If it is not, the 64-bit can be found here: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1615

itunes 64 bit on windows 7 is unable to install, i have the 64 bit installer version but it keeps saying "errors occurred" at the ( rolling back ) phase. HELP!!!

I have the answer and this might be useful for any one else wondering about this in the future. If it helped you or explained what you wanted to know. Replay to the post pls
It's quite easy actually. First have your "iTunes Library Extras", "iTunes Library Genius", "iTunes Library", and "iTunes Music Library" backed up. Download ans install iTunes 64-bit. I don't know what's so 64-bit about iTunes 64 since Win7 reports it as a 32-bit application in the task manager. But anyway. Install iTunes 64 and launch it. If you migrated your library to another drive like me go to settings in iTunes and change the directory to your location. Close iTunes. Replace the newly created files with your backed up files. Launch iTunes. iTunes will load and then update your library and from there you are set to go! so basically it is just like a normal upgrade. But if you hesitated to go from 32 to 64 like me, here is your answer.
By the way. I'm using Windows 7 64-bit with iTunes 64-bit and it works without problems and syncing with my iPod Touch also works flawlessly.

  • What/Where is the 32-bit version of Windows System Image Manager?

I'm running into the problem described as follows in the WAIK documentation:  "Windows SIM fails to create a catalog for a 32-bit Windows image from a 64-bit version of Windows SIM. To workaround this issue, use the 32-bit version of Windows SIM to
create catalogs for your Windows images."
Question: Where is the 32-bit version of Windows SIM? I can only find a single download for "The Windows® Automated Installation Kit (AIK) for Windows® 7"
Or are the 32-bit tools included in that version? If so, how do I use those instead?

    Hi,
The issue should occurs when you install the WAIK on a 64bit Windows 7 machine.
You need install WAIK on a 32bit machine.
Different binary versions of Windows SIM cannot create catalog files for some Windows images of different architecture types. We recommend using the
32-bit version of Windows SIM to create catalog files because this version can create catalogs for all Windows image architecture types. The following list describes the Windows SIM architecture types and catalogs that can be created for each Windows
    image architecture type.
    x86 Image Manager. Can
create catalogs for x86, x64, and Itanium-based Windows images.
    x64 Image Manager. Can
create catalogs only for x64 Windows images.
    Itanium-based Image Manager.
Can create catalogs only for Itanium-based Windows images.

    Welcome to the forums.
There are lots of different forums here and sometimes it's confusing, but this is the forum for the iPhone (and issues with any music and video *on it*).
You should post your question in the iTunes forum. Here's the main forum (just pick a subforum to post):

  • Where is the iTunes Side Bar in ver12. I hate not having the Side Bar!@

Where is the iTunes Side Bar in ver12. I hate not having the Side Bar!@
Continually feel like I am in Apples 1984 video, except Apple replaces IBM as the "Big Brother", lets all walk in lock step to the Apple Reich!
Give us back the iTunes side bar Apple!!!!

There are multiple threads on this subject already. Why open a new  topic on the same subject?
FYI the sidebar is not gone. You can activate it pressing on the button Playlists in the white topbar. The functionality of the sidebar is limited to managing playlists and content from iDevices. The rest has moved to the topbar als shown in the screenshot below.
In iTunes 11 you had to scroll down to manage playlists. You don't have to do that anymore. Playlists are always directly beside you library-view, while other function stay directly available in the white top bar.
    Much better this way...

I just installed iOS 7.1 - where is the iTunes Internet radio app?

There is no separate app. It's included in the 'Music' app if Radio is available in your country (only US and Australia at this moment).
If it is available in your country then open the Music app and select the Radio tab as described on the Apple website. If it is available in your country but don't seem Radio in the Music app then do this.

  • Where is the iTunes summary pane?

Where is the iTunes summary pane?

There isn't an iPad button on your iPad's iTunes (iTunes on the iPad is just the store) - you need to connect the iPad to your computer and open iTunes on your computer, and then select the iPad on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes (that will then give you a Summary pane/tab on the right-hand side of your computer's iTunes)
