my ipad2 when connected to my laptop is not responding nor accepting the connection. My ipad was blocked to return to main menu while trying to updating its IOS. How can we return to main menu?

I keep getting this error message and I don't know what to do about it. I just got a MacBook Pro and my girlfriend just got a MacBook and we have been trying to chat with no luck. I have changed my port to 443 and changed streaming to 1.5 MPS and she has done the same and this has changed nothing. Does anyone have any suggestions?

The part of the log above suggests that ports are being blocked somewhere. When you start a chat, iChat calls out on port 5678. This then changes to port 5060 to start the SIP process (connects to SNATMAP server), the above message suggests this port is blocked. Have a look at http://www.ralphjohnsuk.dsl.pipex.com/page4.html#_ports & see if anything there helps.
If you have a router, & you've turned on UPnP, make sure Port Forwarding is off (one or the other, not both).

Do you have a compatible OSX installed on this 'storage' HDD? If not, it will not boot your MBP.

I have Yahoo mail (POP) account. Mine is working fine at present. I do occasionally get asked for password while sending mail. I have had your issue in the past and it usually clears up in a few hours. Sometimes I sign out and then back in and it starts working again.

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

My iphone4 when connected to any computer will not charge and is constantly connecting and disconnecting. It does the same with itunes so it doesnt really sync. Also when talking to someone, all of a sudden they cant hear me.
I'm having the same issue. I went to my local apple store and they could not work me into the genius bar so i made an appointment for tomorrow morning. The clerk did check the phone for the pink indicators at the top and bottom of the phone (where you plug in your USB or headphones) He said if you can see a pink indicator dot you may have gotten it wet, or had some sort of condensation in it, which could cause the plugs to not work.
In regards to people not being able to hear you, i'm waiting for my appointment tomorrow for more news! I would recommend taking it into your local apple store for more answers. -

I downloaded Magzter app button iPad 2 but when I buy magazines it is not getting downloaded but the same is getting downloaded in my iPod. Pl help. Magzter support is unable to help.
You will not be able to see what version you are running until the iPad is activated. It will be in Settings>General>About >Version when you can get to the settings app.
The slider bar that you are describing sounds like the screen lock side switch and that has no bearing on setting up the iPad or connecting to WiFi.
Why don't you try rebooting your router? Unplug it for about 30 seconds and then plug it in again and see if the iPad will recognize and join the network. -

This started yesterday at about 10:30am California time and hasn't stopped or been fixed. Whenever I sync or try to backup my iPhone 5 it goes through the process but right when it's about to finish backing up it gives me an error message that says "The iPhone (iPhone name) could not be synced because the connection to the iPhone was reset"
I have tried using a different USB cable, using a different port on my macbook, restarting both my phone and my computer. And nothing works and I have search through about every search engine and this problem isn't to be found anywhere online. Posting my problem and calling Apple support are my last options. Also I am still running on iOS 6.1.4 and have not updated to iOS7 because I want to be able to have an up-to-date backup file in case anything goes wrong. And I don't want to restore a backup because my last actual backup is from a couple months ago. But another thing I don't quite understand is that even though that message comes up, a couples minutes later my iPhone's summary says the last backup was the current time like it actually DID back it up. So my question is if the error message says that it can't be synced then why does it show that it actually did backup? I've been having computer issues for a while now, but I always figured it was the application I was using to access the internet. I first noticed an issue when trying to log into World of Warcraft. There was an obvious connection issue, but I could still
connect to my account. I contacted Blizzard about it, and nothing they told me to do helped me. This has been going on for nearly a month. Today, after not playing for a couple days, I realized I couldn't access the game at all. I blamed Blizzard again, and
became frustrated with them because none of their solutions ever helped me.
Today, instead of playing WoW, I tried to play Sims 4, which requires you to launch Origin, an application that uses the internet. Origin wouldn't let me connect either. A similar error to the one I experienced with World of Warcraft and its starter program
(BattleNet) appeared. Again, I blamed the provider of the application.
Still bored, I tried launching Steam, yet another gaming application that requires internet use. No, yet again I received a similar error to the other two. By now I figured it was an issue with the computer itself. I launched a connection test and it told
me that the "Remote device or resource will not accept the connection".
I tried launching Internet Explorer. I got the message that the "proxy server is not responding". I'm beyond frustrated. Thank god I also have Firefox installed, so here I am.
I looked up possible solutions to my issue. All the possible solutions I've found are only about Internet Explorer, and none of those solutions have helped anyone else with my issue.

This issue can be caused by proxy settings or malware.
I suggest you to disable proxy settings. Follow these steps:
Under "Tools" in the browser tool bar select "Internet Options".
In the "Internet Options" window that pops up, click the "Connections" tab at the top.
Click "LAN Settings" near the bottom of the "Connections" section.
If the "Proxy server" checkbox is marked with a check, click it to deselect/uncheck it.
Click "Ok" to close the "Local Area Network (LAN) Settings" window.
Click "Ok" to close the "Internet Options" window.
Now check if you are able to connect to Internet Explorer.
