TS3230 Is iPhotophotocast 7.0 still useful for OS X 10.9.2?

I find the Safari plugin iphotophotocast 7.0 in my browse . It haven't been changed since I first setup my computer in OS 10.6 lion.
So does the ones called SharePoint.
Are them still useful in OS X 10.9.2?

I know that I am way after the event for this post, but just a note to point out this article from Apple Support suggests you should NOT delete iPhotoPhotocast.plugin from /Library/Internet Plug-Ins/, in case anyone else tripped over this discussion, and was contemplating doing so.

If you mean that you've reset your account's password then you might then need to log out of your account on your iOS devices by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store (Settings > Store on iOS 5 and below) and then log back in so as to 'refresh' the account on them.
If that doesn't fix it then contact iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

If there is an error in backup-spfarm can i still use for farm restore

When I execute backup-spfarm I get a message that the backup failed. In the logs there are several errors all relating specifically to search topology. I would love to do a backup and exclude search since I feel I can rebuild that fairly easily
if the need arrises. So my question is: Would it be supported to use this backup file to restore the farm knowing full well that I will have to manually configure the search application. It looks like everything else gets backed up without issue.

Hi Steven,
According to your description, my understanding is that you want to use the backup file which was failed in the backup to restore the farm.
Per my knowledge, the file cannot be used to restore the farm because the backup process is failed with many errors. We cannot make sure that everything except the Search Service Application is backed up well.
I recommend to re-backup the farm without the Search Service Application to see if the issue still occurs.

Determining which NAC Agent to use for ISE

We are planning an upgrade to our ISE environment from 1.1.4 to 1.2. I have downloaded the agent that is recommended for 1.2 (NAC Agent 4.9.4.3) to begin testing with it. Unfortunately the first test I run is using that client against our ISE 1.1.4 servers. It doesn't work! It runs sporadically at best, taking up to 3 minutes to pop up and posture the system. Other times, I give up, after 20 minutes of waiting, and it never runs. This is quite a spot, I do not want to upgrade the ISE system to 1.2, then run into an issue and have to mass upgrade over 2000 clients all at once to get them running. My hope was to upgrade to the NAC Agent prior to the ISE upgrade but unfortunately that has been short circuited.
So my question is, has anyone run ISE 1.2 with NAC Agent 4.9.1.6? That is what we are currently using, as it runs well against both ISE 1.1.4, and NAC 4.9.1 (which is still used for our wired environment). We need to find an agent we can use to bridge us from the time we upgrade ISE to 1.2, and the time we bring our wired environment into the ISE fold and remove NAC appliance. I should note, ironically, that 4.9.4.3 NAC Agent runs flawlessly against the NAC 4.9.1 appliance. The issue is running that NAC Agent against ISE 1.1.4. That is ecactly the opposite of what I would have guessed! Please help!

Yes sir, I am aware of that recommendation, however once I downloaded and started testing several clients with that version, none of them run well, if at all, against 1.1.4 which is the current production version we run in our environment. So I would have to either upgrade all 2000 clients immediately after we upgrade or ISE system to 1.2, or take a chance that our current agent (4.9.1.6) will run against ISE 1.2. I was hoping to find a recommendation of an agent version that runs well against both ISE 1.1.4 and ISE 1.2 so we could upgrade the clients at a controlled rate prior to upgrading ISE to 1.2

Thank you for the help. Every app on my phone was downloaded using my old I-tunes ID. I just hope that they will re-download under my new ID because I still can't change it on my phone. In order to change to the new ID it says I have to sign out from the old ID and change to the new one. My problem is that I don't remember my password to be able to sign out from my old ID. Then the phone says it can change my password through e-mail and I agree but I never get an e-mail at my old address or the new one.

What country's Store are you using?
The two have to be the same and the payment method for your account also has to be associated (billing address, where iTunes gift card was purchased) with that country.
Has the ID(s) worked before for purchases for this country's store?

when you connect your phone with your computer and use itunes you can click on the phone
and click on an update button

I am using logic to record a podcast and using soundboard to use as a playback for music and sound effects. I'd like to soft patch sound board into logic, and still use my interface for recording audio from the other members of the podcast.

Can I stream a movie from my Macbook to my Apple TV on one display, and still use my Macbook for other things?

I have a Macbook Pro and an Apple TV. What I'd like to do is stream a movie from my CinemaNow Account to my television by using my Apple TV and my Macbook. I know that I can do this my using the mirroring feature, however then I can no longer use my Macbook for anything else because my TV will only display what is on the screen of my Macbook. Now with this is mind, what then is the point of having multiple displays through the use of my Apple TV, if only one display can be used at a time unless they both show the same image? Or is there a way for me to be able to stream the movie to my TV and still use my Macbook for other purposes (multi-tasking)?

To enable a second display over AirPlay, you first need to be connected to the same network as your Apple TV. Next, open System Preferences > Displays, and select your Apple TV from the “AirPlay Display” drop-down menu.
Once you do this, your display may flash as the second display connection is acquired, and the Apple TV takes over as the second display. If the displays are mirrored, then you can correct this by opening the “Arrangement” tab in System Preferences > Displays, and ensuring that the “Mirror Displays” checkbox is unchecked.
In this same “Arrangement” tab, you can move the displays around in the pane to ensure that they're positioned correctly, relative to your physical space (usually side-by-side, or top-down). The primary display here is denoted here by the Menu bar on the display. The arrangement helps with being able to drag windows from one display to the next: if your secondary display is arranged to be to the right of your primary one, for example, you can drag things to it through the right side of your primarcy screen.

How do I delete or change my number in my old iPhone, so that I can still use it for iMessages without issue?

I have an iPhone 4S that was with Verizon. About a week ago I ported into Virgin Mobile and bought a new phone to use until the next iPhone comes out. I now still have my old iPhone, which I want to use for iMessages, as well as like an iPod, etc.
The issue I am seeing is that my phone number is still registered to my iPhone and I haven't yet figured out how to delete it or change it. The problem this is causing is it is making my iPhone sometimes intercept messages from those with iMessage who are texting my phone number. The messages should be going to my new phone, not my iPhone, since they are texting my phone number (not my iMessage email) and my iPhone has no service connected to it.
Here's an example of what I'm trying to say: the other day I texted a guy selling an item online. I used my new phone to text him, not my iPhone. He texted me right back, but the text went to my iPhone, not my new phone. We then texted each other via iMessage and no texts were making it to my new phone.
I think this is also causing some messages to not go through on my new phone either, where I'm just simply not getting texts from people sending me messages. My iPhone isn't getting the messages, nor is my new phone.
What I need to do is delete my number or put a random number in my phone so that I don't keep missing or losing texts. I saw the ways recommended to disconnect your number from iMessage, but that then kills my ability to use iMessage on my iPhone. There must be a way that the number in my iPhone can be changed or deleted. We are in 2013 I think, and this was something I always had the option of changing via manual programming on every phone I've had since 1902 or so.
How to do this?!

You need a Firewire cable to run between the two Macs. Using Utility>Migration Assistant running on your new MacBook Pro, transfer what you want (with all the preferences and such) from your MacBook to your MBP. Here's more info from Apple.
You might have an issue with the Serial number for Office, but hopefully you have that around.
