TS3274 Automatic zooming in on pictures

Am I the only person, who when I want to set a picture of something as my background on my iPad. The picture just zooms in itself and doesn't let me make the picture un zoom the picture?

I'm not sure this is the case. In fact I believe the image conforms to the Sequence settings after zoom (and any other Motion control) is applied.
If you insert a 3900x2160 image into a DV-NTSC 16:9 (anamorphic) sequence FCE automatically sets Scale = 22.22 in the Viewer Motion tab; then you should be able to zoom the image by modifying Scale up to 100 (more than 5x) without loosing any quality.
If you insert the same image into a 1920x1080 sequence FCE automatically sets Scale = 50; so in this case you should be able to safely zoom up to 2x.
So I believe that Doug's problem is probably something different; possibly in some cases Scale is higher than 100.
In any case make sure you render first, and then, if possible, check the results on your final monitor; don't rely on what you see in the canvas for testing quality.

I'm sorry to hear you are having this issue with your iPhone after a recent update. If your wallpaper image appears to be too zoomed in, you may want to check the Perspective Zoom setting, as noted on Page 24 of the following iOS 7 User Guide:
Turn perspective zoom on or off. When choosing an image for new wallpaper, tap the Perspective Zoom button. For wallpaper you already set, go to the Wallpapers & Brightness setting and tap the image of the Lock screen or Home screen to display the Perspective Zoom button. The Perspective Zoom setting determines whether the selected wallpaper is zoomed automatically.
Note: The Perspective Zoom button doesn’t appear if Reduce Motion (in Accessibility settings) is turned on. See Reduce onscreen motion on page 139.

How to stop the automatic zooming in on pictures in the camera roll?

When I go into my camera roll some of my pictures are zoomed in. I can zoom them out by using my fingers. Is there anything i can turn off to make it stop zooming in on my pictures?

This solution works for us:
SICF---> Service --> Error Pages -> Logon Errors
Click the "Configuration" button half-way down the page.
Select "Define Service-Specific Settings" and then, under "Actions During Logon", set "Protocol" to "Do Not Switch".

How can I see what I'm actually video recording on iPad Air so that I don't include extra stuff at the borders of the image? It seems to automatically "zoom in" on the screen, but when I export the video, the picture isn't framed well.

When I try to record a video on the Ipad Air, the screen automatically "zooms in" closer than when I'm taking a photo. So I frame the interview and record it. But when I export it to post it or edit it, I discover that only the screen was zoomed in, the camera wasn't, so I have all this extra stuff around the edges of my frame.
I don't need to zoom in, but I do need to be able to see what I'm shooting--otherwise, as I'm videotaping, I'm guessing at my picture's framing. But every time I switch from photo to video mode, the screen "zooms in." How can I see what I'm actually recording?
I've been searching for an answer for this for a while, but I can't find any responses to it! Thanks.

Make sure that you allow pages to choose their colors and that you haven't enabled High Contrast in the Accessibility settings.

The video is automatically zoomed in (cropped)

during the video calls if the other person is using and android phone in lanscape mode the received video will be extremely zoomed in and showing only just a part of what should appear and in the full screen mode if I moved the mouse cursor to the very right or left edges it will start to show some other hidden part of the video !!! zoomed in is a good feature but not to be automatically zoomed in I believe that it is a bug not a feature when it is done without the permission of the user .. who wants to see a small part of the receved video ?!!!

This happens for me too. The result: I can just about see someone's full face when they're exactly in the center. Previously, I could make a pinch gesture with my fingers in order to zoom out the picture. But this has stopped working since a few weeks ago. I've tried rebooting the device and that didn't resolve anything, so I'm thinking that something changed in the software that made it break.

How do I get images to automatically center in a picture box (e.g. place a picture box on a master page and set it so that any image placed inside will automatically center, but not scale)? This was a simple procedure in CS5 (set "Fitting Options" to 'center' by clicking on the center box in the 9-box centering tool) but seems to have disappeared in CS6/CC. Am I missing something?

Hi and thanks. Actually, my problem is with setting the properties of the image frame to 'align center' before an image is placed, allowing me to place large numbers of images and having them automatically center instead of me centering each one manually. Even when I create an object style the frame will not hold any alignment settings and apply them to the image being placed (unless some manner of scaling has been chosen, which is not something I want). There are work-arounds I have used but it would be nice to be able to just put a picture box on a master page, set it to align it's contents to the center and just be done with it . Thanks though.

Adobe Premiere Pro CC Timeline automatically zooms in when moving clips around

This is an issue that keeps happening. It has been an ongoing problem with Premiere Pro CC and now 2014.1. It would start after working for a while on a project and become more frequent as the project gets larger. The only way to rectify the problem is restarting the computer. I would be working and I go to drag a clip around on the timeline and the timeline will automatically zoom in and thus place the clip in the wrong location. This happens when I am not holding down any keys. It will continue to zoom in every time I move any clips on the timeline and once it starts it happens on all sequences. While restarting the computer seems to help I have to do that 5 or more times in a day which can be very frustrating. It doesn't seem to be related to any OS, computer, hard drive/storage. Deleting preview files, flushing PRAM, trashing preferences doesn't help either. I usually work with Quicktime files AppleProRes Codec or H.264. Any help or insight into this issue would be greatly appreciated.

If you mean when scrolling through the pictures with photo viewer, the only way I was able to do it was with the volume key. Up - zooms in & Down - zooms out
I know it is kind of awkward but that is the only way so far.

Check in System Preferences>Universal Access>Seeing and see if Zoom is on. If you have toddlers or cats this can accidentally turned on by hitting a group of keys that include Option + Command + 8.
To prevent this being accidentally activated in the future go to SystemPreferences>Keyboard>Keyboard Shortcuts>Universal Access and uncheck all the boxes.

My video camera is automatically zoomed in when i open it. How do i fix this?

Are you sure the account is checked for new mail?
A .Mac type account is really an IMAP type account so any mailboxes stored on the server (under the .Mac account icon in the mailboxes drawer) are automatically synchronized with the server when first launching Mail and connected to the internet if the account is enabled under the Advanced tab for the account preferences.
I have 3 POP type accounts, a .Mac account and 2 IMAP type accounts. As a test, I deselected "Include when automatically checking for new mail" for all accounts and then quit and re-launched Mail. None of my accounts checked the incoming mail server for new mail but all server stored mailboxes for my .Mac account were synchronized with the server.

The simple answer is, "Yes". Use Aperture's crop tool to create a Version that shows only the part you want to be visible.

Does anyone of you know a good tutorial on how to implement zoom on a picture in a movieclip frame? I would like to do it with AC3 if possible?

You can try searching Google using "AS3 Zoom" and you may find a tutorial or discussions. What you do is use tweens to gradually change the size of an object. If you put a movieclip on your stage and give it an instance name of "mc", the following AS3 code will zoom it 200% when you rollover it.

Puppet warp automatically zooms in when applying pins

After adding a puppet warp mask over my layer I click to start adding pins and it automatically zooms in 100% around the first pin and changes the current layer I'm on to a 100% crop of what is around the pin. If I zoom out it just zooms out of my current cropped image. I cant pan or move around and if I apply the puppet warp it applys it to that small section that it just zoomed into. Very odd and I can't seem to find a work around. I've used puppet warp several times in CS5 and a few times in cs6 but this just started happening. 13.0.1 x64 Windows 8. Anybody had this happen?
