I bought a new Ipad 3rd Gen and are using my same AT&T account for 3G. My wife wants to continue using my old one, I restored via I cloud to set up my new one like the old one. Are we sharing the AT&T account now?

You probably can swap the SIM around but you cannot have one account with two sims. Where you hoping to use the cellular connection simultaneously? If so that cannot happen.
For that you need two data plans.

It will create a new one, unless you get the "Would you like to reuse the backups" prompt and select the "Reuse" option. See #B5 in Time Machine - Troubleshooting for details.
The 2 sparse bundles will have the same name, but internally each carries the hardware address of the associated Mac, so Time Machine will always know which one is which. If you ever have to do anything directly with the sparse bundles, however, you may have some trouble figuring that out. Thus I'd strongly suggest using names that are at least slightly different.

I have just set up Mac OS X 10.8 SErver with Open Directory. I have about 20 machines that I will be setting up, some which have mainly been used localy and just used to tap into Shared Files, [historically], but am wanting to use network users for better backup and support.
However some of the legacy accounts were not used on off the server... What I have is the following :-
a) [Person A] - They are a network user with Password [Password A]
b) The computer is [Person A], they have a Password [Password Old] (so it is different)
I have Network Account Users turned on, with a green dot! (have domain all set up)
However How do I connect using either a or b. depending on what i feel like that day!
? Help any ideas.

Moving from local (legacy) users to network users takes a one-time hassle of moving the contents of their local home folder contents up to the server. Using a finder copy never worked for me. What I finally found worked reliably was using rsync to copy the entire users local folder up to the server. Once on the server, move the files into place (if you didn't rsync them there directly. Finally, Chown all the files (on the server) to associate them with the correct userID on the server. If everything looks right on the server, you can test by trying to login as this user from another local Mac (but now as a network account), and hopefully their home folder looks like they expected.
Note you will need admin access in the local machine and the server to rsync their home folder. You don't want to be logged into their account while trying to copy their files up to the server.
If rsync is not your bag, a portable hard disk and/or disk image of their home folder is another way to move their stuff.
Once you've verified that their network account got to the server ok, then REMOVE the local account.

Are drives with the same name differentiated?

I'm running OSX 10.6.8 and three external drives on which data is stored (a main drive, A-Data, and two backups). A friend may decide to help me with a project and to do so will have to have the same setup. Naming the drives on the second system is of some concern to me, so I did some research.

Unless I misunderstand what he is talking about, I found that I can have two drives with the same name. I can have two drives named A-Data on my desktop. And therein lies my problem (maybe). The project involves Premiere and several of it's sister programs, all of which require external files (video, audio, stills) to be linked, not stored within the working file.

I am working on a project which is saved on A-Data (and all the project links are to files on that particular A-Data)
I then connect another disk with the same name (and with the same folder structure), and backup my files to it.
I then eject the first A-Data and open the project on the second A-Data.
Will the software say that it can't find the linked files (because they are on the ejected disk), or will the project open as normal?

Avoid having the same names if at all possible, especially if you use apps that 'link' to the media via the file path.
The file path is set by the order in which the disks mount, which can change across reboots.
To see what is going on by using Disk Utility…
Select the first volume, look at the mount point (a blue link at the bottom of the Window) …
/Volumes/A-Data
Now connect the second volume & select it, look at the mount point…
/Volumes/A-Data 1
Now reboot, power off the first disk, leave the second one on & power disk one back on when the OS has competed booting. They will show the same paths, but each disk is now the 'other' disk - this makes a big mess for Apps like Premiere.
The only way to make this work is to clone every file to be identical on both disks, and never use Premiere (or any app that links to media) when both disks are connected. Otherwise you risk linking to media files on 'A-Data' and 'A-Data 1'.
Premiere must have tools for sharing projects - look at them before using disk names in this way.
You could however clone 'disk 1' to 'disk 2' & then rename it on the second Mac (to make them identical to fix the paths for Premiere), just avoid bringing them to one Mac with the same disk names. It does make more headaches in future though, because your friend will add new media that you need to migrate back to your disk.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Click on your account name in the top right corner of the iTunes store in the iTunes application on your computer, enter your password and click the "view account" button. Navigate to the Apple ID summary where you have the option to "change country or region".
In order to change your location, you will need a credit card registered to an address in the location you are trying to change to.
You cannot change your location if you have credit on your account, if you are unable to spend your credit and leave a balance of zero, contact Apple, which you can do through iTunes Store Support.

Actually, everyone missed one point, when a device is priced, the cost of icloud storage space for that device is also included in it that is why they are able to give you 5gb each for each user ID, in nutshell there is nothing free coming with apple device purchase, it is paid for. What they are trying by giving only 5gb per user ID irrespective of the number of devices used is pure broadlight looting, they take money from you when you buy each device and give you nothing, This is a case of goods and services bought but not fully deliverd ie apple can be suied for discreminatory treatment towards it's users. I think this is probably a sign that your network could be better than it is.
Intermittent problems are often a result of interference. Interference can be caused by other networks in the neighbourhood or from household electrical items.
You can download and install iStumbler (NetStumbler for windows users) to help you see which channels are used by neighbouring networks so that you can avoid them, but iStumbler will not see household items.
Refer to your router manual for instructions on changing your wifi channel or adjusting your multicast rate.
There are other types of problems that can affect networks, but this is by far the most common, hence worth mentioning first.

I think I know the problem because I've had it myself. I didn't upgrade iWorks on my iPad, but after Apple made changes to iCloud (concurrent with Mavericks) any docs passing through it were modified and made unreadable. Even though, as you say, they were created on my iPad using the previous version of iOS Pages, which I didn't upgrade.
iCloud is the culprit, if your iPad settings had iCloud>Documents & Data enabled, the docs were modified and disabled in the cloud.
I made a further mistake. After I saw this happening, I didn't think to turn off auto updates, and Apple pushed the new version of iOS Pages onto my iPad. The result was that ALL my docs disappeared from the iPad, and from iCloud.com also. I have not been able to recover them.
I've been talking to the Pages engineering team about it. If they come up with an answer, I'll post it here. Meanwhile, get those older files backed up somewhere safe if you can.

You can remove all data stored in Firefox from a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History > Show All History" or "View > Sidebar > History") or via the about:permissions page.
Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox from that domain like bookmarks, cookies, passwords, cache, history, and exceptions, so be cautious and if you have a password or other data from that domain that you do not want to lose then make a note of those passwords and bookmarks.
You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of the involved files.
It doesn't have any lasting effect, so if you revisit such a 'forgotten' website then data from that website will be saved once again.

I will buy a new iPad mini for my son. Currently, I have iPad2 with several payed apps and games among other. I would like to keep new iPad with the same account and to transfer only games to new iPad. In that case I would like to be responsible for buying new apps for both iPads. As you said, Family Sharing would need iOS 8 on both iPads. You can go to the App Store and click on each app in your purchases, to check that each of your necessary apps are compatible with iOS 8, but the vast majority will be so that should not be too much of a concern. The easiest way for you to carry out this entire operation is through Family Sharing, once both iPads are on iOS 8, all you would have to do is go into the App Store from the new iPad and click "purchases" which will now show your name as a family member and allow access to all your previously purchased apps that allow family sharing, including the games. Again, in App Store you can check that each of the game apps allow Family Sharing, by touching on the icon of the app and scrolling to the details area it will say "Family Sharing: Yes/No". It will be free to download any previous purchases to the new iPad. To answer your other question, yes you can back up two iPads to the same iTunes Library, they have different serial numbers and are recognized as separate devices, for ease of use it is recommended to uncheck automatic syncing on the new device for music, photos, and more. Phone A = phone with information you want duplicated
Phone B = phone that you want to copy from A
Backup Phone A.

Phone B should be on the 'Hello' screen. Do not swipe it. Launch iTunes. Plug in Phone B.
When iTunes asks if you want to set up as new phone or restore from backup, choose restore from backup of Phone A.
After this setup, any changes to one phone (i.e. adding a contact, downloading an app) will have to be manually duplicated on the second phone, if that is your desire). Making changes to one phone will not affect the other after setup.

For this you can Availability time planning (i.e you can schedule the file adapter to poll for the files with in the time interval i.e 2 -5)...
for generating the file name at target side you need to look for the Dynamic Configuration as you need to change the timestamp for the file..and i am not sure how this works in BPM..
in normal scenarios dynamic configuration will help....
