    I'm having the same problem as well.  I use keychain access often to remind me of my passwords and was happy (initially) to see one for "iphone backup".  When I entered it I got the same error message: 
    "The password you entered to unlock your iPhone backup file was incorrect. Please try again."
    Really frustrating.
    I searched many ways online, finally I tried "iPhone Backup Unlocker" to help me unlock encrypted backup password efficiently!

    Close your iTunes,
    Go to command Prompt -
    (Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
    (Win XP SP2 n above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
    In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
    netsh winsock reset
    Hit "ENTER" key
    Restart your computer.
    If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
    Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
    If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

    Try this:
    1. Settings>General>Date & Time>Turn off set automatically
    2. Set date one year ahead
    3. Go back to iTunes and try again.
    4. You will get the same error.
    5. Go back to settings general date and time and turn back on 'set automatically'
    Try connecting to iTune Store again.

    Since upgrading PC to v 11.1.2.31, (and perhaps phone/iPad to ios 7.0.3??), although I can access iTunes I cannot access iTunes Store via my PC to sign in.  I keep getting the message to the effect  "iTunes Store is busy. Please try later".  I can sign in ok on my IPad and iPhone without difficulty.
    I have followed all the Apple Support advice, I think.  So far I have reinstalled the software, have checked the Firewall is not blocking iTunes, have rebooted the router several times (in all other respects the Internet is behaving normally), I have cleared the Local and Roaming cache etc.

  • Cannot access iTunes store from my ATV1

    I have rebooted my ATV1 and now cannot see iTunes store anymore.
    The "home page" of my ATV1 is now showing a list on the right side saying Movies, TV Shows, YpuTube, Music, Podcasts, Photos, Settings, Sources. Before rebooting I could access the iTunes store from ATV and buy/rent movies and music directly from there.
    Can anyone help me?

    when you say right side it sounds like your firmware is pretty old
    current atv1 firmware have menus horizontal on the top
    have you checked for a firmware upgrade inside the settings?

    I downloaded the Marvel comics app and wanted to make a purchase but keep getting "Cannot connect to iTunes store".
    I have reset the iPad (holding down both buttons until the screen goes black, then the Apple logo appears), signing out and back in to iTunes, signing out and back into the app, shutting down the iPad then restarting, turning restrictions on and off and turning WiFi off then back on. I have contacted the developer who told me it's a issue with iTunes.
    I see a few others are having a similar issue, and have tried a lot of things I did -- but I still can't purchase thru the Marvel app.
    For what it's worth, I'm in Australia but I was able to download the Marvel app from the AU store so I assume I can make purchases(?)

    I have had an issue trying to access the itunes store through my itunes for the past several weeks. I've been trying to upgraade my ipod touch to IOS 5. However, i can't because i can't access the itunes store. I currently have iTunes 10.5. There is nothing wrong with my internet. I can get on any website. I'm using my computer to write this now. My administrative side can access the itunes store through itunes, but my normal account on my computer wont? I have windows Vista. My itunes is authorized for this side of the computer.
