TS3274 Email display problem: My email only display the list of emails and a preview (first two lines of the body of the mail). If one click on the message it only shows the heading on the right hand side of the screen, but not the content.
My email only display the list of mails in my in box with a preview of the first two lines of the body of the message. When one clicks on the message to open it, only the header is displayed in the right hand side of the screen - the actual message is missing. This happens on older mail previously downloaded that use to work properly as well. Any idea how to fix this?
Try closing the Mail app completely and see if it works properly when you re-open the app : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Mail app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Mail app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work also do a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

If part of the screen is not touch sensitive, and you have tried power off/on and reset, the best option is a visit to an Apple genius bar to have the techs check and see what is wrong with the screen and touch circuitry.

I can access bookmarked pages, pages that are on a saved RSS feed, and can search the web using the top right-hand bar on my screen. However, the main bar, in the center of the home page (not sure of the correct name) will not do anything - whether I press search, or hit enter on my keyboard. There also appears to be another bar underneath that, which I can press, but it remains useless.
My Dad is running Firefox 4 on his computer, and has showed me what it is meant to look like. I can therefore conclude that there is definitely something up with mine.
I am currently using Firefox 4 with my laptop, which runs Windows 7.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox 4, but the problem still remains. I am not keen to use Internet Explorer, purely because I have bookmarked so many pages on the previous version of Firefox but also because I get on very well with the whole layout etc.

How can I get the firefox scrollbar on the right hand side of my screen to stay?

We have one computer in our home and two user accounts, his and hers. On my account at the top of the page I have file, edit, view, history, bookmarks, tools and help.
On the other account it will not show any of those topics. Its very discouraging first its there and than it dissappears so that we cannot find our bookmarks.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Vertical lines on screen, but not the cursor
for the past week, i've been seeing vertical lines on the screen, up to 3 randomly placed, but none are the actual cursor.
what is this? what can i do to get rid of them permanently?Go to the Home screen and double click the Home button. That will reveal the row of recently used apps at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold on the app in question until it wiggles and displays a minus sign. Tap the minus sign to actually quit the app. Then tap anywhere on the screen above that bottom row to return the screen to normal. Then restart the app and see if it works normally.

Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

Icons that appear on the right hand side of my desktop wallpaper
So, if I take a screenshot of something, or if I download something, it will appear as an icon up the right hand side of my wallpaper. What does this mean? I just downloaded 'OS X 10.9.2 Update Combo' and then it appeared as an icon to the right of my homepage. Does this mean it has downloaded? I have just been moving things from there into my trash bin but to get rid of them. But I don't want to end up deleting important things purely because I don't want them appearing on the right hand side of my wallpaper.
Those represent the screenshots you've taken as well as the mounted dmg files. Once you've installed the software, you can remove the mounted images; files on the desktop can be dragged to other locations.
Nothing important to Mac OS X's operation will end up on the desktop unless manually put there.

When transfering tracks to an ipod a sliding panel appears on the right hand side of itunes. This allows the selected track to be transfered. After registering this action the panel does not slide back out of the way to allow scrolling and more song selection. Any solutions..Help?
I have an even simpler method. I use MyPublisher to print my books. I select their page layout for a two-page spread, drag and drop the image. DONE! I understand that most people have their favorite places to have work done. I have been extremely pleased with MyPublisher.com, so I haven't even tried the book module in Lightroom.

iPod not verified properly in iTunes a device is detected. Then on right hand side of computer screen doesn't say privates iPod anymore to drag songs to from my library ? Under devices nothing is ther ? Always had no problem? iPod doesn't even beep when plugged in or automatically backup anymore because iTunes sees a device but not sure what it is? What happened? I've tried 3 different cords too!
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.
- See if another computer sees the iPod in iTunes
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.
