I do not know how to get out of the mode when iPad is saying what the buttons and action will do.
I just want to exit this and go back to doing it.
Is this Siri talking?

You're welcome.
It is not obvious because triple tapping the Home button is not specific to VoiceOver.
It is an Accessibility shortcut. You can choose what you want it to do.
Go to:
Settings > General > Accessibility > Accessilbilty Shortcut (at the bottom)
From here you can change what it does.
If you choose to disable it, while still in Accessibility Turn on Guided Access, set the Accessibility Shortcut to Guided Access then turn off Guided Access.
The Accessibility Shortcut should now say "off".

How do I know if the iPad mini has the retina display, before buying it, by the box it comes in?

I was recently trying to buy an iPad Mini with retina display but the box it was in did not say anything about whether it had the retina display. Also the price they were going to charge me was $299 and not the $399 of the Mini with retina display. So how do I know by looking at the box if the Ipad Mini in the box has the retina display?

A1489 on the iPad mini with Retina display Wi-Fi
A1490 on the iPad mini with Retina display Wi-Fi + Cellular"
do you mean on the back cover of the box or the iPad itself. If it is only on the back side of the iPad itself, then I wont know if I have actually purchased the iPad Mini with retina display until I have opened the box. To me this is unacceptable as it creates a huge hassle if my intent was to buy thr iPad Mini with retina display but was actually sold the iPad Mini without retina display. When I return it for eith the right iPad mini or my money back, certain retailers have a habit of treating such people like criminals even when it was the retailers mistake. The box should be clearly maked to indicate which iPad mini in contains so the purchaser does not have to feel like they're playing roulette.
Today I was trying to buy the iPad Mini with retina display and made it very clear to those working at this retailer that was my intent. This paricular retailer has you talk to their sales people on the floor and they give you a print out of the item you are purchasing. Then the customer takes it to the cahier who takes to the stockroom and brings it back to the customer. I asked the cashier if it was indeed the iPad Mini with retina display and they said yes. So I asked how can you tell by the box? The cashier told me all the boxes look like this one. I said to them, if it is the iPad Mini with retina display whay is it priced $299 like the original iPad Mini without retina display? I walked out without buying it. Some poeple may have thought oh good I'm getting the iPad Mini with retina display for the price of the iPad mini without retina display when in fact they be only getting the original iPad mini without retina display.
Your response helped me but it does not solve the problem as far as I am concerned of being able to tell what iPad Mini is in the box simply by what is on the outside of the box. You may say, what difference does it make? My response is, not all retailers are scrupulous!

I'm considering returning my New IPad and purchasing the iPad mini due to the slow charging issues with my New IPad. Does anyone know if the mini has the same issue? I also have issues when charging my brand new iPad mini. I got astonished when I tried to charge it yersterday and realized it took more more time to charge than my iPod Touch 4th generation, which really charges very fast! It even did'nt charge completely so when I got home I put mi iPad mini to charge overnight, at about 12.30 AM, when it had about 13% charge left.
This morning I got shocked when I saw at 6 Am that it hadn't charged completely. Just 96%, which means the iPad mini can't be totally charged during a 6 hours charging session. So after reading all these posts I get disappointed with this huge issue for iPad users. How can we endure such a long charging sessions for a device that you normally use all the time. For instance, when you're traveling you always need to charge the iPad very quickly. Just a few travelers would allow their ipads to rule their schedules on such a bizarre way!
I was also worried because I don't live in the States. It was my brother who bought it for me, so taking my device to the Apple Glass Cube in New York or any other retailer or just to have this issue technically solved is a big problem for me! So international customers who think to buy this wonderful mini tablet should consider that such a marvelous device is dealing with an absurd and disappointing big problem related to an aspect customers would hardly imagine.

Why doesn't the iPad mini have the ability to record video

The IPad mini has no capability to record video! What the **** if your going to get the newest thing from apple and it doesn't have the prior capabilities that the older stuff has then why buy it?

My mother got me a Ipad mini to show that she's proud of me...but i told her i didn't want it since i already have an Ipod, and that we don't have the extra money for it. She told me it was either the Ipad mini or a computer. That's when i was wondering if the Ipad mini did all of the samethings as a computer, so does it?

The iPad does many but not all the same things as a computer. For example, the iPad does not support Adobe Flash, so you cannot easily see some movies or games. Like a computer, you would have to add apps (which may cost money) to do word processing, PowerPoint-like slides, etc.
But the iPad mini does excel at providing a reading platform, a small internet and email platform, etc.

Yes, and no. Basically the iPad Mini has currently 3 generations.
The Second and Third generations also called iPad Mini 2 and 3, have Retina Displays. The First generation one, does not.
So it could be referring to either, but most likely it does in fact refer to the iPad Mini 2. (or second generation) that does feature a Retina Display.

Why did the Apple Store replace the iPad mini when the firmware was corrupt -- why not just fix the firmware?

The iPad mini would not turn on - so I scheduled an appointment with the Genius Bar. Why did they say the only solution was a replacement iPad mini- couldn't the firmware be corrected (re-installed or something?)

The iPad mini was not still under warranty -- so they charged me $199 -- and I did not ask because the way they said it, there was not an option. When I got home and checked, it appears that there should have been an option to re-install the firmware.

How does my wifes iPad mini access the video on my iTunes account

I'd like for my wife to have access to the movies i purchase with my itunes account on her ipad mini using her itunes account. For example: I just purchased "Frozen" and Id like for her to be able to watch it with my daughter, in and outside the house, from her ipad mini the same way I can watch them on my iphone.
Ive put my apple id in the video app setting but that doesn't appear to give her access to my movies.

Am a new user have the iPad mini have the virgin mobile wifi as have not Internet connection but it loses the connection and have to call to have them reset device is there another way for wifi service thank you terrie

Windows 7 Home Basic does not support ad hoc or hosted network functionality (what Connectify and Virtual Router use). At a minimum you would need to upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium. Note the Applies to these editions of Windows 7 statement at the right in this article.
