I just synced my old iPad to my new iPad....the apps show "waiting" and I do not know why. It has been 2 days. I wiped my old iPad even?

Connect to iTune; and Check for available download (under Store). When download is completed, sync to iPad.

Connect your iPad to iTunes on the computer you usually Sync with and “ Check for Updates “...
If an Update Appears Install it... if not... you are up to date for your particular Device...

If you are really on iOS 5 then look in Settings > General > Software update.
Otherwise:
If you are using iOS 4 (or earlier) there is no Software Update in Settings. That feature was first added in iOS 5.
To update you will have to connect your iPad to iTunes on a computer (preferably the one you sync with and backup to).

I checked in about:config and services.sync.autoconnect is set to true.
In the windows option/sync, there is no link and no button for set up or configuration

The automatism of the synchronization seems to be activated : when I open Firefox, and when I add a new password, or a new bookmark, a small message is displayed at the bottom of the page, saying that there is a connecting problem and the password is not right. "Sync a rencontré une erreur lors de la synchronisation : nom d'utilisateur ou mot de passe incorrect. Sync essaiera de nouveau cette action automatiquement.
So I try to force the password anew, it says the password has been renewed . And 5 minutes later it says that sync has failed, and ask me a new password. Well, it does not work.

You say you told your iPhone to backup to iCloud and it took a while and reported it finished. Backing up your iPhone to iCloud shouldn't change anything on your iPad, so I'm not sure what you are saying didn't work. I sync my contacts, calendars, and all between my iPhone 4 and iPad 2 all the time with no problems. This has nothing to do with backups.

HT4235 Bought an ipod but it will not sync with itunes. Diagnostics passes everything but the sync test says "no ipod found" even though the computer shows it and itunes shows it but is still doesn't sync.

I purchased an ipod shuffle (5th generation I think). It is recognized by the computer and recognized by itunes but will not sync with itunes. Ran diagnostics and all passed but when it got to the sync test, it says "ipod touch, iphone, or ipad found". When I put on earphones, it tells me to sync with itunes. But it will not. What a person to do?

Pictures previously included as part of an email are no longer there. If I forward the email to another web browser the picture is there. This just started happening after my last upade and I do not know why.

For some reason pictures that have been included in emails as part of the email are no longer there. This seems to have happened after my last update of firefox. If I forward the email to another web browser on my computer the picture is then visible as part of the email. The pictures I am talking about are not ones attached for me to open but ones that are included as part of the email.

* You can see the permissions for the domain in the current tab in Tools > Page Info > Permissions
* You can check the exceptions in Tools > Options > Content: Load Images > Exceptions
* You can check the Tools > Page Info > Media tab for blocked images (scroll through all the images)
There are also extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) that can block images.

iPads sync to 1 computer only.
All media and apps are tied to the Apple ID that purchased them.
Without your relatives ID and password, you cannot update any of the Apps.
I am pretty certain he is also violating Apples terms of service by giving you the apps.

You can only sync an ipad to one computer at a time.
You can look to something like dropbox, upload your photos there, then do the sync and since your photos are backed up it won't hurt if they are deleted.
