since upgrading to OS 8 my Ipad keeps asking for my VPN connection and password , I dont know this information so I can`t do anything. How do I move onward from this?

General settings vpn need to be off this is used only for a private closed network. Bsydd uk

It sounds like you are getting prompted for your iCloud password very frequently. I would sign out of your iCloud account in Settings first:
On your iOS device’s Home screen, go to Settings > iCloud, then at the bottom of the screen, tap Delete Account.

Then close all the running apps on the device:

When you have done that and restart the phone, sign back into iCloud, and test the issue again:

Give it time. Yahoo has been doing things to their servers that often muck up the Mail app. Usually it takes 24-48 hours to run its course then it'll work again.
if it doesn't clear up by the end of the weekend, you can remove and readd your account, but chances are it'll just start to work.

Any content is tied to the account that you used to buy/download it - so if you created a new account as opposed to updating the existing one, then you will need to use the old account to download updates to its apps. Can you not update your old account so as to have a new email address on it (e.g. via this page) ?

What to do when your iPad keeps asking for the iTunes Store Password

I was using my iPad last night when it just started asking for my iTunes store password and I was browsing the web in safari. I just entered it and scratched my head. Later I was playing a game - the same prompt interrupted the game.

It happened about five times before I finally went to the settings app and signed out of the app store. I don't think it's related to any one app since the prompt was happening at seemingly random intervals no matter what I was doing (even on the home screen with no app "running")
Signing out seems to have corrected the problem. Apps still run and I will try signing in again later once I need to download anything. I haven't done much other than update 5 apps earlier in the day.
Does anyone else have experience on what caused this?
Here's what it's not:
1) Time - I checked the date/time on the iPad - they were within seconds of my mac which sets time automatically on the internet.
2) Password wrong - I downloaded a free app from the store app on the device after entering the password - so the password was fine for a purchase/download after the prompt. (Yet the prompt came back again within 30 minutes)

Thanks for the suggestion! I did have two downloads for free songs I got from a card at Starbucks. They started but never came on my iPad (and that was 4 days ago). The store error is happening only yesterday - possible but a long time after the "failed download". I just got those songs after your suggestion on my mac by checking for available downloads. Maybe that was the root cause?
Add rebooting to "here's what it's not" - I forgot to write that down. Also - I was not interested in restoring the iPad - like taking a firehose to water a flower, that certainly would fix it at cost of overkill. (and maybe only until the backup was restored if the file causing the issue is something that would be backed up).
The problem seems to be that the device either doesn't save the password or something is causing it to be periodically marked as bad. Both ideas have me scratching my head. Rebooting didn't resolve the issue - only signing out from the store.

Some people just solved the problem by deleting the account from the device for a moment "Settings > iCloud > Delete Account" and then added it back again.

What’s the time interval chosen in Mail > Preferences > General > Check for New Mail? If it’s set to Every minute, try changing it to Every 5 minutes.

My friend buy an application for me on my ipad , but using his app store account. When I sync with My IMAC, I-tune asked me to authorize that account on my computer, I disagree.
But every time I open my Ipad, It alway asking me password of my friend account, off course I don't known the password. If I cancel I still using My Ipad normally. But it annoy me, so I delete the application, hopping it stop asking about the password, but no it still asking every time I open my Ipad.

Now I found an icon haft-way loading "waiting" in my ipad , I don't know what app. it is. I think my friend bought it and we get out of wifi range before it's completely loaded.
I think it's now asking for the password account to resume, but I don't think I need it any more, I try to delete it in I-tune and Ipad without success

My iPad mini has gone a bit crazy. All of a sudden it started asking me to sign into iCloud by entering my Apple ID password. It is not allowing me to proceed to the normal home screen past the iCloud prompt. When I push the 'Cancel' button, the iCloud sign-in prompt just reappears straight away.
I don't use iCloud and I don't wish to sign in but this prompt is not letting me use my iPad unless I sign in. It worked perfectly fine before without this iCloud nonsense.
How do I get rid of the prompt? I need to fix this a.s.a.p. as I need to use my iPad tomorrow on a flight.

Since you aren't using iCloud, I assume it's just a software glitch, so try resetting your iPad.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Since yesterday when I turn on my ipad and go into check my mail it keeps coming up with a box saying the exchange password is inncorrect but it's not been changed since it was set up.

I was tinkering with it last night and found that the mac mini didn't like the frequency that the router was using to communicate. I changed from channel 6 to channel 9 and the problem went away. Perhaps an auto setting would have worked but I'm using and older Linksys router and the auto was not an option.

I too am having the same problem.
It appears to be fairly random. Often when I open up my iPad it comes up, or in the middle of a game or when I start apps.
Occasionally the screen says unable to purchase GRand Theft Auto III and 42 other items. This shouldn't be an issue as I have managed to purchase GTIII and all apps and all have installed all correctly and they work.
I have synced, and re synced turned off fully, Logged out fully from ITunes disabled auto updates ...everything. Even checked on my PC for available downloads and again it says there are none waiting. Still it haunts me. I mentioned GT III as I wondered if others may have had a similar problem?
Hope you can help, as it getting very frustrating. I should add lastly that I don't have the same problem on my IPhone 4S.
