TS3274 iPad keeps going to homepage in the middle of anything I am doing any suggestions to solve this problem
My iPad Keeps returning to the home page. When I am in the middle of anything I have restored it to factory settings like it is new but it still does this. Can anyone give me advice on how to solve this problem
Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430

I have the exact same problem trying to use the Remote app on both my iPhone 3gs and iPad 2 with either my Mac or ATV2. My Remote app used to work on my phone - I can't recall if I ever actually used it with my iPad, but when I tried today, I got all the same results as you did (on both iPad, and then iPhone). Any suggestions please on how to recover connection of ipad2 to Vizio wifi? (it worked fine in the last few months but the connection no longer exist although other laptops continue to have wifi connection to the same Vizio router.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

I am using a HP CapShare 920 handheld scanner and I would like to download documents onto my mac. I purchased an IR778 usb port adapter specific for a mac, downloaded the required app for this. The mac recognises the ir778 but will not recognise the scanner. Now it works fine on my netbook, yet I can not read the files they are so small. I am looking for some help so I can use my much preferred mac.
All I can suggest is that you open that file on the MBA and save it as a new file, then see if you can open the new one on the iMac.

1. What version of the Mac OS are you running (Apple > About this Mac)?
2. What version of the iOS are you running (Settings > About)?
3. Do you use MobileMe/ iCloud or another server based sync solution like Google or Yahoo?
4. Do other changes to synced information like Address Book content sync successfully back and forth?
Based on your description it sounds like you have a 1 way sync issue. Events sync fine between the iOS devices and fine from the computer to the iOS devices but not from the iOS devices to the computer.
Try:
Backup your computer and iOS devices before doing anything else:

Make sure the wifi you're connecting to has a strong connection. Also, it has to be set up with basic security, meaning you can't activate your phone using wifi that needs you to access Safari to sign in.
You can also always use iTunes on your computer (with a strong Internet connection) to do this as well. -

Why don't you use the option "Get a Free Apple ID" to create a new iCloud account with a free @icloud.com email address for all the iCloud service like Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Reminders, Notes Storage & Backup etc.?

i have 2 pcs one with xp and the other with windows 7 heres the problem

Try a reset. Hold down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time until the Apple logo appears on the screen. Let go of the buttons and let the iPad start up.
