i have an ipad 1 with 64GB
i uesd only about 45% of the memery
when i open some apps diefrant ones it crashes and i have to open it one more time
it alwyes crash
i close all apps , still it carsh

Try this; Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset all settings.
Then keep the Powerbutton and the Homebutton pressed at the same time until you see the Apple logo on your iPad screen.

URGENT HELP REQUIERED! Digital published Document / Viewer on iPad always crashes

Hey there, i need urgent help, our company is heading towards the most important exhibition. We will be using iPads and digital published magazines on the Adobe Viewer to present our company. But after creating the document and having it checked on the Preview Viewer on the Mac where everything worked fine, i have the issue that it always crashes now when viewed on the iPad.
We have an article, with many pages where we present our references, each page contains a slideshow with about 5 pictures, all the pictures are jpgs, about 400 kb. There is a small vector Illustrator file (eps) placed on the pages as well, which i used on other articles as well, no problem there. When going through this article it always chrashes, i´ve tried a couple of things allready, reduzed file size, dropped pages etc. The whole document is about 400 MB.
Please help!!!! I need a quick solution, as i only have a couple of days left for finishing the document for our Exhibition.

Things that crash DPS folios...
- very very large articles (safest to keep each article under 30MB if you can)
- consecutive large articles (the app tries to load the next article into memory to enhance page-turning performance, so several huge articles in a row risks causing iPad memory difficulties)
- dense text combined with transparency or drop shadows in a PDF folio (doesn't like rapid page-turning)
- two or more consecutive pages containing web overlays that display animation or special tricks using JavaScript (this nightmare began when Apple introduced iOS6)
- corruption that has crept into an InDesign document after it has been re-edited and resaved 100s of times (only solution is to redraw the document from scratch)
- folios that have been updated repeatedly after each edit (try archiving and downloading the folio afresh)
- corruption that has crept into Content Viewer's cache on the iPad (try deleting the app, rebooting your iPad and re-installing the app)
I suspect your problem lies in the size and complexity of your "article with many pages". Try breaking up the article into two or three articles, and see if that makes any difference. You can always hide parts 2 and 3 from the Table of Contents, remember.

My iPad keeps crashing. Sometimes when I'm in safari or app the screen returns to the home screen for no apparent reason. A couple of times it even shut down completely. Any suggestions on what I can do to prevent this from happening?

1. Close all inactive apps in the Task Bar. Double-click the Home button and hold apps down for a second or two and tap the minus sign to close app.
2. Try a reset. Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple Logo

Tis is the sim you got from the carrier and your account is set up, right? Pull the sim out. Power down the pad, and while its off, reinsert the sim, then try it again.

Ipad keeps crashing on every app, even on settings and other Apple made apps. A memory application shows that the free memory is shrinking.

EVERY app on the ipad is crashing back to the menu after a few seconds. I have tried powering down, syncing. There does not seem to be an app that can monitor what is causing the problem. Every app that I have was downloaded from the app store, nothing is bootlegged.

Delete the last downloaded app from your iPad by holding down the app then tapping the circle with a x then tap Delete.
If you aren't certain which app it was open iTunes. From the menu bar click Store / View My Account / Purchase History.
You can always re download the app again without re buying.

My iPad Air crashes on all web browsers making it useless for work

My iPad Air crashes alot which is only a problem when filling in forms or working on it , my dads iPhone 6 does the same thing. Are apple products no good any more or is there a way to fix it?! I've tried google chrome and opera and they crash n lose the work too. Basically useless as a work tool

I just cancelled my Iphone 6 order (it wasn't getting here anytime soon anyway) because it is using IOS 8. I wouldn't go near that operating system if you begged me. I used to love Apple products. They absolutely are no good since I upgraded to IOS 8 from 7. What a mistake. My Ipad has crashed 4 times, and after restoring to new, it crashes again. I have lost money on upgrades to apps, or add ons to apps and have finally decided to go to a Windows system. I can always add ipadian to the windows system to use my apple apps. I better not upgrade my apple imac or something terrible might happen. Sorry Apple but I had one of the first Apple IIe's way back in the 80's but you lost me for good, because you are ignoring everyone with this - "it is a hardware problem", no sir it is not. Firefox always crashes in every 10-15 mins

After i formatted the PC, firefox always crashes or closes unexpectedly in every 10-15mins, it is just 9 days since I formatted the PC, it already gets 39 crash reports! I tried to checked crash signature from all crash report that all stated "null signature". I have no idea how to fix it. I am now using firefox 6.02. I did not have any problem in the past.

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
Also make sure you have plenty of free space on your iPad. 15% should be enough. If you are short on free space delete some stuff to open up more space for your iPad to operate efficiently.

Unfortunately you cannot roll back to an earlier version of the iOS. Apple does not support it. You can try a couple more things and see if they help. Try quitting all apps and restart. Also, clear Safari and see if that helps.
To quit all apps - Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus (-) sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, Cookies and Data. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
If the apps that are crashing are the third part apps and not the Apple preinstalled apps - try downloading another app - any free app - you can always delete it if you don't want it. Sometimes that helps and it's worth a try.
If these don't help, you could try restoring your iPad if you want to give that a try. AFAIK, the Safari crashes are still a known issue in iOS 5. If you want to report it as a bug, you can do so here.

IPad Air crashes intermittently reading mail

My iPad Air 128 crashes intermittently with several different accounts.
I will tap on a message, read it, then tap the next message, read it, then tap the next and it crashes out of mail.
It does not always crash on the 3rd message, as it could crash on any message.
and it could crash with my iCloud account, or aol, or comcast, or gmail, or a university imap, or exchange account. I see no pattern.
It seems to crash sooner if I read the messages faster, but going slower does not guarantee no crashes.
I Have already quit all other apps, reset the iPad, backed up and restored the iPad, added back accounts one at a time, etc., and all other gyrations of things to do.
IS is there a solution to this? My iPad 2 never had this problem.

Week and a half old iPad Air crashes with light usage of youtube, netflix and safari pages with video links to youtube and vine. The consistency of problems with videos has led me to determine that it must be bugs with iPad Air. Anyone else having this problem?
Details: iPad Air 16gb wifi, have only used about 25% of space and always close all apps before opening another. I also have only had a max of two tabs open on safari of basic internet surfing (i.e. A google search page, or imdb for example). These crashes are annoying as sh......

I can well imagine that they are.
I would backup, restore to factory settings, restore from the backup and then try again. If that fails, restore again but do not use the backup - restore as new. If the iPad functions OK as new, then slowly rebuild the iPad adding your apps, music etc, methodically to see if you can pin down what might be causing the problem.
if all of that fails, it's time to schedule an appointment at an Apple a Store (must be done online) and have them take a look, or of it is lees than two weeks old, just return it for a refund and buy another one.
