My Ipad will not respond, the screen has stopped working and I cannot turn it off
My ipad mini just lost screen. I tried the hold both buttons down and i did see the apple logo, but didnt fix it. i know its alive, because it beeps when i connect it to power or computer. Are there any other fixes? I received this as a door prizeon black friday and have no receipt?? but i did register it. what should i do?

My mini i pad has frozen. I cant turn it off or opporate the screen. I have a nessage on screan telling me my storage is full in i cloud but I cant navigate to settings or closeTry this to get rid of the message.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -
My iPhone 4 screen turns black and unlocking the screen does not work

Muting and unmuting works, the iPhone shakes but the screen doesn't come on. I have tried holding the home button and the lock button but nothing happens...
Try a reset: Hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons and don’t let go until the screen goes dark and the Apple logo appears (no data will be lost)

A magazine's app on my iPad has stopped working. When I open the Newsstand folder and click on the app, the screen dims briefly, then returns to the Newsstand folder. The other app in my Newsstand folder (Wall Street Journal) opens without any problem, and this magazine's app opens just fine on my wife's iPad.
I have deleted the app and reinstalled it from the Apple store and that makes no difference. I have also done a hard reboot on my iPad with no result.

I figured out how to fix the flashing yellow screen problem that I've been having on my MBP! Yessssss!!!

I followed the instructions on this page and here's what I did:
Resetting NVRAM / PRAM
Shut down your Mac.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command (⌘), Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.
I went through the 6 steps above twice, just to make sure I got rid of whatever stuff was holding up my bootup process. Since I did that, my MBP boots up just like normal. No flashing yellow screen anymore!!

I cannot open my phone as the screen will not work. I have made an appointment with a technician tomorrow but is there anyway of backing my phone up to Icloud so that I do not lose any of photos etc etc?
PLug it into yrou computer to sync/back it up.
Is it set to back up to iCloud now?
Or do you have wifi backup enabled in iTunes?
Plug it in while on wifi and it will automatically back up. -
I recently go my screen replaced and it has worked since then. But now all a sudden the screen does not light up. I know my phone is on because Siri is still responsive if I hold the home button, I just can't see anything. Any suggestions?
Most likely the LCD Display connector simply came loose from its logic board connector. Take iPhone back to where it was repaired, and ask them to simply press the connector back into its place. Ask them to apply a bit of foam material or several small pieces of tape on top so the pressure of the flex connector plate holds it properly in place for the future.

You could follow the instructions in the support document that you linked from. There is a section regarding the passcode and the inability to use it or enter it. However, you may encounter more issues since you cannot use the screen.

Been using an Avastor HDX-800 for storage and backup, also a SUPERDISK for smaller stuff; recently the SUPERDISK does not appear on the screen, and the light blinks while you hear it spin, also the Avastor has started to have the same problem, both USB conncected, both worked well before, but both now spinning, blinking, and not showing up on the screen as before,
Interestingly they both appear in the System Profiler, but just not working the same as before
I have tried other USB ports, but the same responce,yes I did reset the PRAM, but no benefit, still the same problem
my usb devices are: keyboard, mouse, printer, SD-USB-M3, and LaCie d2 DVDRW:
the mouse and printed are plugged into the keyboard: i have tried to move, these around, and have even tried just the mouse, printer and SD-USB-M3, but still the same problem

Try this; Keep the Powerbutton and the Homebutton pressed at the same time until you see the Apple logo on your iPad screen.

Since the IOS7 is installed i cant delete apps. I tried the following with no result:
1/I hold the app till it wiggles but the cross does not appear;
2/ i could not delete it through i-tunes;
3/ i tried resetting the ipad through "settings/general/reset/all" then i get a restrictions password request whih i have no clue what it is (its not my unlock code)?
Is this a bug related to IOS 7 - I just installed the latest update also with no effect.
(I'm new to apple so any simple to understand advice is appreciated as my kids have added so many apps i can't add my music)It appears that you have restrictions turned on in settings that prohibit app deletion. Is your iPad a personal possession or does it below to the company you work for?

After I installed mountain lion my back button frequently does not work because the prior screen does not appear iunder History. Apple tech support was not able to fix the problem. Does anyone have any suggestions?

You don't in the condition it's in. You will either have to get the phone replaced by Apple or pay a 3rd party to repair it.

I am unable to work on docs in adobe as the toolbar does not appear when I tap on the doc.
how do I get my adobe to work? I open the doc in adobe but cant work on the doc. the toolbar does not appear when I tap in the middle. All contact us help leads to nowhere. the e mails from support cant be replied to. is there another app that one couls use to download doc and actually be able to work on them?
