It means that it cannot locate the operating system.
You need to reinstall from the disks that came with the iMac and which the vendor is required to give you. -

If your screen still hasn't been able to rotate, I would recommend you take a look at the troubleshooting information in this article:
If the screen doesn't rotate on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Some apps don't rotate. Some might use only portrait or landscape mode, or switch depending on the content. To test screen rotation, open the Calculator app that comes with your device. If the screen doesn't rotate when you rotate the device, try these steps:
Check for in the status bar. If you see this icon, Orientation Lock is on. To turn it off, swipe up from the bottom of the screen to reveal the Control Center and tap .
If you have an iPhone 6 Plus, turn off Display Zoom to rotate the Home screen.
If you have an iPad with a Side Switch, turn the Side Switch on or off.

If there is, then depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (rotation lock or mute notifications), then you can lock/unlock the rotation by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad above the volume switch, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon far left; press home again to exit the taskbar. If there isn't a lock symbol then try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. -

What phone company do you use. There needs to be more information about what is exactly going wrong. Becasue if you are in the USA then the hotspot feature can be turned off and on by the carrier, Such as what Verizon does, if you do not pay for the feature. If that is not the issue then there would have to be a software problem, which there are a few solutions to. One being take it to the apple store and letting them fix it, if it is not an issue with your phone company

I have all my music on my ipad and icloud. I don't have itunes installed on a PC or MAC. I recently purchased Music Match, but all my non itunes music is on my ipad. When i turn on music match in the settings screen on my ipad i get a message that says all my music will be erased. How do I get music match to match what is there rather than erase it?

No, your Yahoo account is not in iCloud (which only handles iCloud mail), it is in Yahoo, and the Yahoo mail account is on your iPad.

Get the correct settings for your account from Yahoo and set it up manually.
By the way, I also find the "password" issue problematical. It seems Apple want my Apple password rather than my eMail password. All very confusing.

I cannot "click" on the top inch of any screen when in firefox. This prevents me from signing in and out of certain webpages. If I minimize the screen this does not go away either. This doesn't happen when I am either on my desktop or using IE. I love firefox, but this is frustrating! Help!

If it is good in the Firefox SafeMode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. <br />

You may have accidentally turned on Orientation Lock. From the home screen slide your finger upward to open the control center. Look at the circular icon at the top right. If it is white, they orientation is locked. Tap it to unlock.

My iPad does not have sound when on the Internet, including YouTube, but does have sound with iTunes and other apps. How can I correct this?
If you are sure that you have sound in other apps - and if you can still hear keyboard clicks and get notifications, then system sounds are not muted. Try this and see if it works.
Close all apps completely and reboot the iPad.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
