TS3274 my ipad will not come on or accept my passcode at all

Question.  My Ipad is brand new.  Got it set up with email account.  Downloaded Google Earth.  After a couple of hrs. Ipad is frozen.  Tried doing a restart by holding the Top Button and bottom on off at the same time as instructions but it still won't come back on.

Try resetting the iPad again. Hold down on both buttons for at least 15 seconds. If it doesn't work that time, try it a few more times.
After you try 4 or 5 times, if it still doesn't work, post back

my ipad will not come on.  i tried to restore and get error message 1603, dont know how to take out itsw which it tells me to do.

    Error 1603
Follow the steps listed below for Error 1604. Also, discard the .ipsw file, open iTunes and attempt to download the update again. See the steps under Advanced Steps > Rename, move, or delete the iOS software file (.ipsw) below for file locations. If you do not want to remove the IPSW  in the original user, try restoring in a new administrator user. If the issue remains, Eliminate third-party security software conflicts.
    Error 1604
This error is often related to USB timing. Try changing USB ports, using a different dock connector to USB cable, and other available USB troubleshooting steps (troubleshooting USB connections. If you are using a dock, bypass it and connect directly to the white Apple USB dock connector cable. If the issue persists on a known-good computer, the device may need service.
If the issue is not resolved by USB isolation troubleshooting, and another computer is not available, try these steps to resolve the issue:
Connect the device to iTunes, confirm that the device is in Recovery Mode. If it's not in Recovery Mode, put it into Recovery Mode.
Restore and wait for the error.
    When prompted, click OK.
Close and reopen iTunes while the device remains connected.
The device should now be recognized in Recovery Mode again.
    Try to restore again.
If the steps above do not resolve the issue, try restoring using a known-good USB cable, computer, and network connection.

Try restoring using recovery mode. Read about it here.

  • TS3274 my ipad will not turn on  The screen is a lighter shade of blue???? HELP!

my ipad will not come on  Its a lighter shade of blue.  I tried holding down the two buttons and it still doesn't work.  HELP!

Did you hold down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for at least 10-15 seconds? Sometimes it can take a few attempts to get it to work.
But the blue screen that you are describing doesn't sound good. Were you doing anything out of the ordinary when the screen turned blue like did you bang the iPad or drop it....drop something on it?

My ipad will not come on even plugged in. HELP!!!!

did you let the charge run out?
If so, then plug it into a main power outlet (not a USB port) and leave it for at least 20 minutes, perhaps longer.  Then try to power up, or if that won't work try a reset:
Hold both the Home button and the Power button down for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears.
Let go promptly when it appears.
Wait 30 seconds or so for your iPad to restart.
No information or settings will be lost.

  • My ipad will not come back on.

my ipad will not come back on, i have tried restarting it but when it comes on it comes on a black screen with an apple then just stays there. help.

If a reset doesn't work, try and force iPad into Recovery Mode:
    1. Turn off iPad. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, slide to turn off.
    2. Connect USB cable to computer
    3. Press and hold the Home button down and connect the docking end of cable to iPad
    4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect To iTune" screen
    5. Release the Home button
    6. Open iTune (make sure you have the newest version of iTune)
    7. You should see "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode"
    8. Use iTune to restore iPad
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad

  • TS3274 My iPad will not show up in My Computer

After updating iTunes last night only to find that Apple Support services would not start, and doing a clean reinstall of iTunes and all its componants, I now have another problem...
My iPad will not register on my computer, or iTunes.
It wants to connect and my computer even gives the connection sound, telling me that a new device as been connected, but then the iPad asks if I trust this computer. (as if I haven't had the iPad connected to this computer for the last three years!) When I press the TRUST button it DISCONNECTS and my computer gives me the disconnection sound!
I checked the device drivers and there is a Apple device USB driver but it doesn't give anymore information other than the notice telling me that "This device is working normally" Hows that for irony?
    Please Help!
