J2sdk split into j2re and j2sdk

j2sdk has been split into j2re and j2sdk. Problem is that a directory in the old j2sdk has become a symlink and pacman doesn't like that much.
You'll have to pacman -R j2sdk and then pacman -S j2sdk for the upgrade to go through properly.

Dvd supermulti drive has split into two cd drives?

for some reason last night when i was burning a dvd my computer froze during the burning process and said that the drive was not found. i opened up the my computer file and for some reason it now has 2 cd drives and it wont read anything.

The industry has pretty much bailed out on Lightscribe technology. There are a few listed on Amazon. You might want to consider an external optical drive.

Can "jpeg+raw" imported single file be split into jpeg and raw files?

I manage to choose to import my jpeg and raw pictures as single jpeg+raw files accidentely. What means with this format? can I split this "jpeg+raw" pictures into jpeg and raw again? If you edit a jpeg+raw picture are you just working with the raw file, I mean I saw that I could change the exposure on the file which you only can do on raw files. Is it a bad idea to import jpeg and raw pictures as a single file? I really don´t understand the properties of this "jpeg+raw"-file

With RAW+JPEG, the JPEG is only used for the initial Library view, prior to generating previews from the RAW file. Once you have generated previews and/or developed the image, the JPEG is unused. The edits you make won't affect the JPEG at all. It is, however, still tied to the RAW as metadata, so deleting the JPEG will flag your image as having problems (and list it as "missing" even though it's very clearly in your catalog). Tuning off the option to handle RAW+JPEG together in preferences won't fix past combo images, but it will avoid making this idiotic mistake in the future. After turning it off, export your metadata to the RAWs, then delete them from the library (not the disk) and then reimport them without the JPEGs. Peace will rule the world.

Try clearing Safari's cache : Settings > Safari > Clear Cache (and Clear History)
If that doesn't work then try closing Safari completely and then re-open it : from the home screen (i.e. not with Safari 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Safari app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
A third option is a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Extra long track- can I split into sections?

IT's hard to explain why, but I have one audio file that is about 20 hours long. It is hard for my ipod to play this file. Is it possible to split it up into pieces, like, split it into 20 1 hour audio files?

On a Windows-System you can use "mp3DirectCut". Its my favorite for spliiting mp3's into smaller parts.

Updated my phone, now my outlook calender has split into device default, then my email address...

Hey guys, anyone can help me here? It's actually my bosses phone, we have synced to our Outlook program, so any appointments I put into the calender on my computer are updated into her Blackberry calender. However, we did an update software, as was prompted from the desktop manager, and now for some reason, although all appt's show up in the actual caleder, the display page (Dimension Today) only shows the reminders for the one calendar... I need it to show all the appointments. It looks like somehow the new additions from the date of the sync are somehow on a different calender now? Please help!!!!!

Just to clarify I did not question the VPN connection as being the problem with your email. My point was accessing a networked MS Outlook email account via VPN would I think change the way the sync and reconciliation worked.
The term device default in these calendar discussions can be confusing as "default" is used as a CICAL calendar description and a device calendar description.
The service books could have certainly caused the problems. I would suggest reading this article describing how the device calendar works with items not associated with a CICAL from an email associated calendar. The merge function is not the point, the calendar process is.
Please let me know your thoughts.

When i update ios 8, there some of my pic in my photo album did't show on my album, but show in photos? secondly, why my album split into 2 and out of one has 3 local disk file in it?

Photos taken with the phone are not stored in the camera roll anymore, Apple found a new way to sort your photos.
By default, Photos displays a representative subset of your photos when you view by year or by collection. To see all your photos, go to Settings > Photos & Camera, then turn off Summarize Photos.
View by location. While viewing by year or by collection, tap . Photos and videos that include location information appear on a map, showing where they were taken.
While viewing a photo or video, tap to show and hide the controls. Swipe left or right to go forward or backward.
Search photos. From Albums or Photos, tap to search by date (month and year), or place (city and state). Search also keeps your Recent Searches on hand and gives you a list of suggested searches.

Imported images into single project are split into managed and referenced

I've noticed a behavior twice recently that I can't seem to trace. Background: Big Aperture library on its own internal drive, gets re-copied to new drive every month or so. 439,591 images. Probably about 350-400 GB on a 500GB drive.
Last night, I was importing by reference 956 images from two separate cards (537 and 419 images) simultaneously (one FW400 Lexar reader, one USB SanDisk reader). — something I do often
The import was very slow. Seemed like it was hung up, but I remained patient. Eventually it finished.
The project now has 956 images, with 137/537 managed and 310/419 managed, even though the import was set up to be referenced.
The directory where they were supposed to be stored has 920 items.
Drilling down into the Aperture library contents shows Two directories in Masters for that date, one with 137, one with 310.
This tells me that in the process of the import, Aperture managed to turn 956 files into 1367 total, between the three places, and create a confusing problem that I have to work out manually.
Looking back in the masters section, I see that it appears to have possibly happened a few other times.
Has anybody else observed this behavior? Anybody know how to solve it? Aperture has been making me nervous lately.
I should add that I've already tried repair permissions and repair database. I'm a little nervous about the rebuild database option.

Event Window has a new section that appeared out of nowhere

Would like to remove this new section from the Event Window. I have inserted a screen shot of the event window. The section I want removed is the 3rd one (middle of screen and next to video picture). How do I remove it?
Currently, I have Final Cut Pro 10.6.8 with Snow Leopard operating system.

Home button is the round button at the bottom. Sleep button is on the top right.

Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

Web Intelligence - Sections and Graph at Top

Hi,
I am a problem when I insert a graph at the top of a report which has a block under it which uses sections. The problem is that a huge gap seems to appear between the graph and the block and I try and reduce the space via dragging the edge of the section up but the gap does not get smaller...
Any ideas how I can get around this?

As per my understanding Chart is at the top of the report. A table with sections is below the chart.
So, I think by adjusting the Relative Position ->Top edge property of the section, you can reduce the gap between Chart and Sectioned table.
