TS3274 screen won't respond, Icloud back up popup is also up

The screen on the ipad is locked and the Icloud back up popup won't disapear

Try this.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try another cable
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • HT1212 iphone screen won't respond

What should I do for an iphone 4S screen that won't respond? Bring it to the Apple store or cell phone store?

    Hey kelsey413,
Thanks for the question. I understand you are experiencing issues with the touchscreen of your iPhone 4S. The following article will help to troubleshoot this issue:
iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Troubleshooting touchscreen response
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1827
    Resolution
If your device is experiencing any of the symptoms listed above, try the following steps:
    1. Restart your device
              - Hold the On/Off button until "slide to power off" appears. Slide to power off your device. When it is off, press the On/Off button to turn it back on.
              - If you can't restart your device, reset it by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for a least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    2. Clean the screen with a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth.
    3. Avoid using the device while wearing gloves, with wet hands, or immediately after applying hand lotion.
    4. If you have a protective case, or if you are using a plastic sheet or film on the display, try removing them and testing the device without it.
If the steps above don't resolve your issue, please schedule a service appointment with an Apple Retail Store for evaluation. If an Apple Retail store is not an option, contact Apple to find out your best service option or see the Service FAQ for your product.
    Thanks,
    Matt M.

  • Why won't my iCloud back up?

I have iCloud on my phone and I wanted to back my phone up before I upgraded to the iOS 6. Everytime I go to back it up, it tells me that same thing everytime saying, "Not enough storage. Manage your storage in settings" But I've deleted over 500 photos, deleted useless apps so that I have more space but its still telling me the same thing. If I just upgraded to the iOS 6 without backing up iCloud, will all my photos that I haven't deleted and all my contacts and apps still be there?

First thing you want to make sure is that you are connected to wifi...icloud won't work if your iphone isn't connected to wifi..second you wan to check your icloud setting...go it setting then icloud (make sure your signed in), then click storage and backup at the bottom...on this page at the top you want to make sure you have storage...then you you want to back sure icloud back up is turned on (option is about mid way of page) once you do that at the bottom in blue you will see backup now click that

  • HT201412 How to drain my iPhone 5 battery as my screen won't respond and tried everything else

So my screen randomly stopped responding but lucky for me I was in the apple store when this happened so they treys to restart it by pressing the power button and home button . But my power button don't work so when I got home I tyres to restore it on the laptop and that didn't work so now I'm trying to drain the battery any Ideas to drain the battery but I can't get on my phone from the lock screen but I can use Siri to turn on music etc.

This is an all volunteer user-to-user support forum. Sometimes it takes longer than 6 minutes for people to reply.
How was the Apple Store able to reset your phone by pressing and holding the power and Home buttons if the power button is broken? If your power button is broken, you should get it fixed.

  • My iphone screen won't respond?

Like half an inch of my touch screen on the left side will not work. I tried restarting and restoring, but know I can't set my iphone back up because I can't type in my wifi code which contians a 2 (the screen is unresponsive here) and so know it is stuck!! What should I do? It is an iphone 3gs

If you have tried a restore and the screen still does not respond, then it appears to be a hardware issue. Your decision on what to do here, since the phone is out of warranty.

  • My IPad touch screen won't respond to my touch. Any ideas?

I used my IPad this morning to check my internet. When I came home this afternoon, there is a message that says IPad hasn't been backed up in 2 weeks. Backups happen when this IPad is plugged in, locked and connected to wifi. I have plugged it in and it is connected to wifi. I try to tap the ok button under the message, but it won't go away, and I can't swipe the screen to actually use my IPad. Ideas on how to get the screen to work?

    Hey gnuz,
There's a bunch of people having this problem since iOS 8 came out. It seems to be affecting iPhones, but perhaps the iPad is having the same issue.
    Check out this post:
Touch Screen unresponsive after iOS 8 update
Hopefully a fix can be released by Apple soon.

  • My macbook air screen is black, the screen won't respond but the sound and brightness works fine - any solutions?

I treid letting it run flat, then charging it but it went back to the black screen. Sometimes the mouse icon can be seen and I can move it but it will vanish sometimes.

Could be a problem with the LCD or it's cable, this seems like a hardware fault. I would go to the Apple store before its to late and before you run out of warranty (you get a 1 year warranty) There no way of fixing this without opening the computer which would void the warranty. If you have ran out of warranty i would go on eBay and look for a inverter, the cable or possibly the LCD apple would be able to tell you what it is without you having warranty and try the repair yourself or you could pay Apples overpriced repair.

  • Part of screen won't respond

A strip of my screen down the right side of the phone will not respond to touch 98% of the time.  Anyone have this issue??

  • My iPad screen won't respond.

Tried soft reset and iTunes not recognizing for a Restore...Help!

You can verify that the device has enough charge to turn on:
If you are using an iPad, ensure that it's connected to the USB Power Adapter supplied with the device.
Let it charge for at least twenty minutes, then see if it starts normally.
If there is no image on the screen, press the Sleep/Wake button to attempt to wake the device.
If the screen displays a red battery icon, continue charging the device until the battery is fully charged. Learn more about charging iPhone and iPod touch, or iPad.
If it is nothing to do with battery and since the deive doesn't appear in iTunes, try to force the device into recovery mode, and then restore it.

  • ICal screen won't respond

The To-Do's have disappeared from my iCal, and when I launch the program, I can make only one change, and then nothing responds. I can't even open the preferences. iCal remains visble, but useless on my desktop.
The only new thing I have done is to sync my Palm m500 and my iCal using iSync yesterday. I tried resetting the sync history in iSync preferences as was recommended on a thread with a similar problem, but with no success.
I have used iCal at work and at home for quite a while and love it. I feel lost without it!

    Hello BuddyHopkins,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
From your post I see that your iPhone's screen is unresponsive, and remains as such even though you have restarted and reset your iPhone.  At this point please either contact Apple Support or take your device into an Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider.
    Fix your touchscreen
Make sure your hands are clean and dry, then try these steps:
If you have a case or screen protector on your device, try removing it.
Clean the screen with a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth.
    Unplug your device.
Restart your device. If you can't restart, reset your device.
If your touchscreen still doesn't respond like it should, contact Apple Support or take your device to an Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider.
If the screen on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch doesn't respond to touch - Apple Support
    Take care,
    Alex H.
