Are you using the Supplied iPad Charger... Is the AC socket switched on...
If Yes to both... Try another Cable... one that you know works...

- Look at the dock connector on the iPod. Look for abnormalities like bent or corroded contacts, cracked or broken plastic.
- Make an appointment at the Genus Bar of an Apple store.

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Plugged in my iPad Mini into my computer and it would say next to the battery Bar "Not Charging" , and I'm wondering what this means. Thank you!
The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W or 12W (5W on Mini) USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (2.5W, most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.

At this link http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/galaxy-tab-android-tablet,3014-11.html , tests show that the iPad 2 battery (25 watt-hours) will charge to 90% in 3 hours 1 minute. It will charge to 100% in 4 hours 2 minutes. The new iPad has a larger capacity battery (42 watt-hours), so using the 10W charger will obviously take longer. If you are using your iPad while charging, it will take even longer. It's best to turn your new iPad OFF and charge over night. Hello. I recently pieced together a late 2008 MacBook Pro 15". Everything works fine except the battery constantly goes between "not charging" and "calculating" or, rarely "charging". It does charge after a long while and will report that it is charged.
I have reset the NVRAM and the SMC a couple of time but that didn't work so I ran an Apple Hardware Test and while testing the logic board it gives the following error:
4SNS/1/40000000 LB1T
I've done some research and found this is a temperature sensor related to the battery, but cannot find where the sensor is located in the computer. Would you know how I can find the sensor to test it? Could my battery problem be related to something else? Would a fresh install of Lion help?
Thank you!
Mike
Two pieces of information that may or may not b helpful, the hard drive is from my early 2008 MBP and the only test disc I have access to is from an iMac.Why do you have LION installed on that older machine?
So you say you built a macbook from a bucket of parts eh? Kudos

There is something wrong with the volumes buttons in my macbook pro, every time i pressed the one who raises the volume, it leads me to the screen where (i do not no what its called) the background is black with the date and time and a calculator. However, when i lower it, my safari tab goes out of the screen. What do you guys think i should do? I'm getting very nervous.

You may want to try using the information in this article to adjust the behavior of your function keys to see if that resolves the behavior:

Hello. When I connect my imac Start, as usual, comes the start signal and then the white screen with the load signal then nothing happens. What could be the problem?
Presuming you get the chime, most of your Mac hardware is working and has passed the first part of the power-on self-test.
If the screen comes on, basic graphics is working.
The dark gray Apple is not present inside the Mac -- it must be loaded from a boot device. If the dark gray Apple appears, at least one of your boot devices has some capabilities. The flower petal/gear moves while Darwin is initializing and loading. If it stops immediately, something is terribly wrong.
When the screen turns blue, Mac OS X has loaded and your graphics card transitions to Interrupt-driven operation. LoginWindow task draws the login screen, and Mac OS X is ready for login.
What could be the problem depends on where in the process it stops, and whether the power light is blinking. -

Just took it out of the box. It's the best one. It remains at 41% after being plugged in overnight.

I have turned off the iPod Shuffle and turned on after 10sec. I have opened the iPod summary page in iTunes and check and unchecked "voice over" and applied. I have "restored" the ipod. I am using Mac Lion 10.7.2 and iTunes 10 10.5.2. I have read Phillip's answer to Zazuum. WHAT am I looking for that would effect the double click? I am encouraged that someone else has the problem and may have fixed it. Now I at least know it's me and not the iPod. Sorry, Phillip, I need a little clearer direction. Thank you.

Ipad will not charge or turn on the screen shows the red battery only
The ipad in question belonged to a friend of mine and it has never been dropped or damaged as long as he owned it. He did get it used from gamestop but there was not any visable damage. The ipad showed the red battery indicating it needed to be charged so I pluged it in for him a few hours later nothing I put it back on the charger over night the next day nothing. So thinking it was maybe the charger I took it home and charged it on mine which is for the ipad (iPad 3) and let it charge over night and it still did not have a charge. I tried holding down the home button and then the home button and the power button and nothing would happen. He has bought a new one but I am still wondering what went wrong with it, can any one tell me what happened or does anyone have an idea about it? Thanks a bunch and have a good day.
If you've tried different chargers & different cables, next inspect the 30-pin connector on the bottom of the iPad. Dust likes to live in there and impede contact with the charge cable. Get a clean toothbrush (or similar) and brush out the port. Even if you don't see any visible dust/lint, do it anyways. Afterwards, blow it out as well. The connectors in the 30-pin connector are very small and even the tiniest bit of dust can cause improper contact. While you're at it, check/clean the 30-pin cable as well.

I developped a promo eBook and put it on my website. I mailed a couple of people to test it and there were no problems. Now I receive calls from other people who tell me they cannot download my promo on their iPad. Can anyone tell me what the reason might be for this "it works" and "it does not work" using the same code (in PHP)?
The funny part is they are all using an iPad and I'm pretty sure they did not change the browser. But I will look into this and ask them. Could it be a code problem on the website?

I'm not familiary wiht the WinIO functio that you are using here but there are a couple of thisngs to watch out for when doing low-level access.
The most common problem with low level IO functions is that if they were created for Win9x, they will not work under Win NT/2000/XP. NT based OSes require you to have kernel access to do any low level communication. Make sure that the WinIO library that you are using is aupported under Win2K.
Since you have the code for the dll available, you could attach LabVIEW as an external process in your C compiler and debug the dll; this can helps you track down the exact function that is failing.
Just my 2 cents.

Juan Carlos
