Like any other computer, the iPhone can sometimes have a weird glitch or hiccup. It's part of technology. As long as the reset gets you back up and running, then you're good to go.

hello, i have received an ipad and it is not going to well. i will be charging it for 5 hours and when i unplug it, it says it is still not charged. anybody know what is going on?
Same problem for me.
1. Cannot connect to wifi as icloud password pop up keeps appearing.
2. tried deleting account. UNable to do so.
3. tried resetting password by logging into apple id through desktop as mentioned in one of the responses in another thread. Unfortunately the apple id to be reset is the same as being prompted by icloud and hence unable to reset the same.
Feel like breaking the **** ipad into bits. Stupid of apple to let such a bug in and not offer support !! -

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

My Nano 5th g battery was dead. After charged play fine but all written content in menus and songs is backwards.Help please.
Try resetting the Nano first to see if that helps. To do this, first make sure the hold switch is in the Off position, then press and hold both the Select (Center) and Menu buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
If the issue persists, connect the iPod to your iTunes library and restore it to factory settings.

My ipod touch 4 generation wont charger or connect to my computer but it will charge using a wall charger. The battery was dead so I plugged it in to the Computer and it charged it enough to come on and now that it is on, it wont charger or register. My sister has the same ipod as me and has no problems charging hers on our computer. Please Help me!!

My iPod touch 4G will not charge. I charged it and when I got it off charge it was really hot but showed it was fully charge then when I turned it on again the battery was dead. Now it won't charge. Please help thanks!
Try the standard fixes to rule out a software problem:
- Reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod
if still problem that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

You would have neede to have "Find my phone" activated on the iphone

Thought ipod was dead but got it into disk mode
The other day my ipod froze so i did a reset, it turned back on and gave me a sad icon face. I thought it was dead after reading the forums here. After a few tries, I finally got it into diskmode and the computer recognizes it (shows it as a removable drive listed in my computer).
Anyways, I tried to restore it with the latest ipod updater, but it does not detect the iPod. What should I do?any answer?

s there any problem for my iphone's battery to keep my charger connecting for few hours after the battery is full?
Sometimes i sleep and the my iphone is charging and of course the battery became full after two or three hours, and definitely i will not wake up in the midnight to just disconnect the charger, please i need your help.This is considered normal use. I think everybody does this, including myself. It's not something to worry about in the least bit.
Just remember to complete a full charge cycle (allow the phone's battery to discharge to 10%-20%, then charge uninterruped to 100%) once a month and you'll be fine.
