Try closing Settings completely and see if it works when you re-open it : from the home screen (i.e. not with Settings 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of Settings to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Leliforever, cheek you list of installed add-ons, the Ask toolbar can be installed without the users knowledge.

when i click new window it opens to the right of the screen with 1% showing if i click the green button it than opens in the screen how can i fix
It's normal for links to open in the same tab as you browse if you left-click. You can Ctrl+click or middle click to open a link in a new tab. Are either of those broken?
Some sites let you use a regular left click to open a link in a new tab (example: Google search settings), and some add-ons may change link behavior. Can you check whether one of your add-ons has been disabled?
Tools > Add-ons > Extensions
Also, if you use the Ask toolbar, try disabling it and see whether that makes any difference. -
I am trying to open PDF files from safari, but when I click on them they open in a separate window and the information is encrypted. Any ideas on how to get them to open them in Adobe? Any help please!
The pdf is loading as html code. If you save it, it will download as :

Change the extension to .pdf

When I click on Firefox the first time it says "Foxfire is installing your updates and will start in a few moments…. (with a green bar)" then it says "Software Update Failed (in blue) with an exclamation mark inside a yellow triangle)

Every time Firefox openedIf you can't install on top of the current installation then you need to delete or rename the current Firefox program folder to do a clean install.
It is possible that your security software is using or locking files, so you can try to temporarily disable that software during the installation. -
I learned to LOVE firefox because of the multiple tab feature. I have the color tab add on and LOVE it!! But all of a sudden, the tabs won't open!!! FI: I have one tab open to HuffPo and then I click the square next to it with the + in the middle. This used to open a new tab but now when I click it doesn't open....I have tried upgrading to the beta...no use....uninstalled the beta and reinstalled 3.6...nothing....It is making me CRAZY!!!!

I do NOT like when I click "Find" that it opens in a separate pop-up window. I liked it being at the bottom left of the page and staying there. It's irksome the way it is. Would you please put it back on the bottom left so it will stay open. It is so much easier.
Also, it is a little irksome that Firefox automatically uploaded the new 9.0 version. I was purposefully not uploading it. I thought it was loading updates to 8.0. You need to add more detail and have a way to give us an option not to update when the pop-up appears.The Find bar is still at the bottom of the browser window, just above the Add-on Bar if you have it set to appear. No change with it in Firefox 9.0.

There is a problem when i click the "+" tab to "open a new tab" nothing happens. It use to open new tabs and now it does nothing. Even when i go to "File" and "New Tab" it still does nothing. The only time i can get a new tab to open is if i go to "Help" and click "Firefox Help" then a new tab with firefox help opens.

I bought an IPhone 3gs and tried to reset the APN through Strait Talk Wireless but when I click on settings then "General" tab they tell me to click on the "Network" tab but there is not a "Network" tab? After Network, I was supposed to go to Cellular Data Settings but I can't find the Network tab under the General tab. i didnt have issues with itunes before...but pc asked to download new version. i did. when i click itunes i get my original music, but when i click store...i get nothing. i watched tutorial....but still cant open itunes store. im looking for music to buy.

Try making separate desktop icons for the Editor and Organizer. You can then launch directly. The standard desktop icon is for the welcome screen which often runs in the background or doesn’t shut down properly.
Start by right-clicking on the desktop and select:
New >> Shortcut
Then browse to:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 13
Inside the Photoshop Elements 13 folder make sure you select the application (not a shortcut) by scrolling down to the files beginning with the letter P and highlighting ‘PhotoshopElementsEditor’
Then click next followed by finish.
You can repeat for the Organizer using the different file path.
New >> Shortcut
Then browse to:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Elements 13 Organizer
Highlight ‘PhotoshopElementsOrganizer’
Then click next, followed by finish.
Now that you have your separate desktop icons you can delete the one for the welcome screen, if preferred. On Mac try launching directly from Applications. [if not using PSE13 substitute your own version and go to Program Files (x86)] -

Multiple icons when right clicking a movie to open with VLC.
Hi,
I have a strange problem that is more annoying than anything else. When I right-click a movie to 'Open With' VLC there are 4 icons there for VLC. (see attached). How do I get rid of them? Why are they there?
