TS3276 Can't see attachments

using Mail, I am getting emails on my iMac with Word attachments missing - I get the attachments on my iPad and iPhone for the same email.
Suggests I need an add in? of some kind?

Please follow these directions to delete the Mail "sandbox" folder.
Back up all data.
Triple-click the line below to select it:
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.mail
Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
Services ▹ Reveal
from the contextual menu.* A Finder window should open with a folder named "com.apple.mail" selected. If it does, move the selected folder — not just its contents — to the Desktop. Leave the Finder window open for now.
Quit and relaunch Mail, and test. If the problem is resolved, you may have to recreate some of your Mail settings. You can then delete the folder you moved and close the Finder window. If you still have the problem, quit Mail again and put the folder back where it was, overwriting the one that may have been created in its place. Post your results.
Caution: If you change any of the contents of the sandbox, but leave the folder itself in place, Mail may crash or not launch at all. Deleting the whole sandbox will cause it to be rebuilt automatically.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C). In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar, paste into the box that opens (command-V). You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.

  • TS3276 Can't see the sent e-mails with Microsoft Outlook

I can sent e-mails using Microsoft Outlook but i can't see the sent e-mails in the folder provided. I can only see them after someone has replied to it. What am i doing wrong?

Sorry Thierry if I wasn't clear enough.
I meant the Add-Ins tab in the Ribbon, not the Options:
SAP does provide the functionality to hide the pane, on the bottom right you can see the top of the pane and there is an X. It can close it but the add-in stays on.
Then in the Ribbon you can activate the "Add-Ins" tab and you will have the SAP Cloud for Customer menu command.
This is what I meant in my initial reply by saying that I do that often. I hide the pane and reactivate it by simply clicking on that button highlighter in black above.
At least in it's in Outlook 2010 but like you said in your initial post, maybe it is not available in 2013. Partho Guha will be able to confirm.

  • TS3276 can't see imap mail in mac mail

I have moved my mail to Mac Highway.  After forwarding my mobile me addresses to a new address, I then switched to iCloud for e-mails only, just so the forwarding would continue.  But now even after configuring the new IMAP address, mail says I have 141 e-mails but I can't see them.  How do I get them to download?  (I did go into the "mailbox" menu and clicked on synchronize, but that didn't help and it seemed to have scrambled the sent, drafts, trash and junk mailboxes even though I have disabled my mac mailbox) I'm using 10.6.8 Snow Leopard on a MacBookPro with a 4.5 Mail and I set up an IMAP account with SSL.  I'd appreciate any help.

    Hi jrickyp,
    Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
It sounds like there is an issue with some email attachments not appearing on your iPhone. The article linked below describes a similar issues and may explain what you are seeing.

  • Can't see attachments in mail

Why do the attachments I receive via email disappear?  I can view them on my iPad or iPhone, but when I got to view them on my computer, the email either doesn't have an attachement icon (paperclip), or I can't find the attachement it says is there.

  • Can't see attachments from Messages on Mac on iPhone

When I send people basic text messages like "Hi" on Messages for Mac, this shows up on the message thread for iPhone. However, if I send them an attachment such as pictures, I do not see this on my iPhone. It never used to be like this. Furthermore, I used to send myself images and sound clips this way, and now I can only send my self text messages. in Messages for Mac I see delivered but my phone never loads them up into the threads.
Also, under the File Transferes window, attachments sent to my mobile number are shown as "Sent." and it seems like they're being sent perfectly fine it's just I never see them.

Yes, just sync them to your phone.

  • Can't see attachments at top of message

    Hi,
On all of my mail messages with attachments, when I click on the arrow in the message header to reveal the attachments, they aren't there.
Although, the attached files appear in the message below absolutely fine.
This means that when I click on 'save' to save the attachments, nothing happens.
But I can drag the attachment from the message below onto, say the desktop, and the file is fine.
This is happening on both my iMac and MacBook synced through .mac, on the same mail messages.
    Any ideas?

I am here at the forum for this exact problem (I think)! Could it be an update mail issue?
I sent emails yesterday with attachments. They arrived embedded for the receiver and she couldn't download them. She said they became .bmp files. I sent them as .jpg and I'd even clicked 'send windows friendly attachments. On my email it looked like I was sending them attached not embedded (paperclip and the number of attachments were listed at the top) but when I go to sent mail, I can't download or control-click:view as an icon, either!?!?!?!?!

  • Can not see attachments on the Email

The overview screen shows that there is an attachment but when you select the message the attachment does not show up, this is happening when messages are forwarded. At times when there is a pdf attachment (not a forwarded message) what opens up is the media player. Some pdf attachments have no problems of opening.
The N900 needs to become a serious phone, this needs to be fixed.
This does not happen on my N97 !
    Any solutions ?

This just happened to me. After a bit of messing about I decided to forward the message  back to my own e-mail address.
Again the email attachment was shown in the overview screen but not in the main email, however, the attachment was now available from the sent items folder.
Not a fix or solution, more of a bodge!!!
    Hope it helps

  • Can't see email attachments on ipad 2

Hello, I can't see attachments on my ipad 2. In email client is just name of attachment and down arrow. When I click on it, for a few seconds there is a downloading wheel, but it disappears and arrow come back. When I hold finger on it, nothing happend. What should I do with that please?  I have gmail account and I have already tried to shut down and reboot ipad, delete and set up account again. Nothing worked.

Try resetting the iPad. No data is lost. (Oh, and check your security settings. Maybe some kind of function is enabled, that blocks attachments etc.)
Another reason might be your internet provider (cellular provider), if you have just been trying to download the attchments over 3G/4G, although I don't know that. Ckeck with them, if that is the case, and try to download the attchments over WiFi (you better check out multiple WiFi sources, just in case the problem is router-spesific (many routers, mostly public, but also private have certain restrictions on them concerning the amount of data each user can download). I'm really no expert, but that's what I would do...Otherwise, I'm afraid, I don't know. Really sorry about this!

Apple Mail isn't going to change the format of any of your attachments. it isn't going to corrupt them either.
Exchange is a transport protocol and server. The issue you describe is not related to Exchange.
There are many different versions of Microsoft Outlook in use and they all have e-mail bugs. Different versions have different bugs. Some Apple Mail hack to get around a bug in Outlook 2003 may cause the same message to be problematic in Outlook 2000. Fix them both and another issue will cause trouble in Outlook 2007. You can't fix this. Apple can't fix this. Microsoft can and has but that is irrelevant if your recipients are using older versions.
One specific problem is that Apple Mail always sends image attachments inline, as images, not as iconized files. You can change this with Attachment Tamer. Just be aware that use of this software will break other things such as Stationery. E-mail is just a disaster. To date, no one outside of Apple has ever implemented the e-mail standards from 1993. Apple has continually changed its e-mail software to be more compatible with the de-facto standards that Netscape and Microsoft have unilaterally defined and people documented as "standards" after the fact. The e-mail messages that Apple Mail sends are 100% correct and do not violate any of the original standards from 1993 or the Microsoft/Netscape modifications. The problem is entirely bugs and limitations in various versions of Outlook.
