contact your email service provider and ask them (it might treat multiple e-mails as SPAM)

Oh, its not as "strange" as you might think.
The problem is SPAM. Internet Service Provider (ISPs) are struggling to prevent outsiders - or their own customers - from sending huge amounts of SPAM.
To do this, they have to make regular changes to how e-mail is handled. My guess, based on what you have told me so far, is that your ISP has made a change to how e-mails are sent.
This means you have to find out what that change was and adjust your Mail account settings. Hopefully your ISP has a "Support" web page where there is a step-by-step How To document that will lead you through this.

TS3899 cannot send mail, my aol address is rejected by server

after sending I get message "a copy has been placed in my outbox. sender's address was rejected by the server". I did all of the resolutions but still cannot send. I do have access to the Internet.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

Can No Longer Send Mail From Multiple Addresses.

Any help appreciated. I have been using multiple email addresses to send and receive mail through my POP account with Macmail without any problem but all of a sudden this has stopped working on all but my initial account. If I try to send a mail I just get a drop down error message stating:
"This message could not be delivered and will remain in your Outbox until it can be delivered.
Verify that you have addressed this message correctly. Check your SMTP server settings in Mail Preferences and verify any advanced settings with your system administrator."
Anybody got any ideas??

Have you changed ISPs lately?
Has your ISP changed it's rules for passing Mail through? Many do change the Port & Authentication to do so... and rarely notify their paying customers... go figure that one!?

Sending Mail to Multiple Addresses

I am thinking of moving from Outlook to Mail as it works better with the iCloud but cannot figure out how to do one thing...
In Outlook I can bring up the contact list and click on various email addresses to send a mutliple email out.
How do I do the same thing in Mail. I dont want to create a Group as sometimes this operation is for one off emails?
Can anyone shed some light on this for me please? What am I missing?

You have provided incorrect information. If in the AB you create a Group, and then in Mail Preferences/Compose you do not check the box beside "When sending to a group, show all member addresses" then in the To header it will only say Undisclosed Recipients. This works with every SMTP I have ever tested with. If this does not work for you, then you have a very peculiar SMTP!

Anyone know why I get this message half the time when I attempt to send an email, and usually in a day or so the mail will go ahead and send?.. I know the address is a valid email address.

igmackenzie's method is reported by many to work.
However, deleting your mail account will also delete the emails in your Outbox that you are trying to send. This is a problem when you have several in your Outbox, many of which have been carefully crafted.
So before you do so, if you don't want to lose your hard work composing your unsent emails, be sure to copy & paste each one into another application, i.e. Notes.

Put the other addresses in the BCC: (Blind Carbon Copy) field.

Is there a way to have no passwords for either e-mail accounts.
Why am I continuously prompted for my IMAP and I do not know what that password is.

Who is the provider of this email account? It can be very hard to distinguish between a PW prompt instigated by the Incoming server vs the Outgoing server. What are the recommended ports to use for each from this provider?

Cannot Send Mail/Password Problems

Whenever I open my primary e-mail account I get a message saying it cannot send mail because no password is provided for the account. (I can receive e-mails on this account, and can send and receive e-mails on my other accounts) I have tried re-entering my password and changing my password and neither have worked.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

The provider for my primary account is digis. And as far as I know everything is correct, I've been able to send e-mails on this account for the last year, it has only been the last month or so that I have been getting this error.

I am trying to email pictures from my ipad to my email address on my computer and I have been going along nice but now I get a message that says "cannot send mail the message was rejected by the server" can't see to figure out why it stopped sending now.

Now, when I try to email from my phone, I am block, thwarted, rejected by the following message:
Cannot Send Mail
A copy has been placed in your Out Box. The recipient (enter email here) was rejected by the server.
This happens with my business address. Receiving works.... sending doesn't.
My SBC Global address on this same phone is fine...receiving and sending.
What to do? I'm stressed.

I had the same issue on my iPhone 5S. My internet/email provider told me to uncheck (turn off) USE SSL under Mail settings, and it worked perfectly for me.
