Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

i have iphone 4 and it worked previously but then lost service, contacted provider and said would have to do factory reset. Did the reset and now can not activate phone. said server was not working to connect to itunes. Connected to itunes and still can not activate it. any suggesgtions?

I have had this phone for 1 day and shortly did a factory restore..pulled battery etc...still can't text was told if i did *228 i would fry my 4 g simply card help me
May want to give more information....
1. Can you make calls, if so its not a network activation issue?
2. Are you haveing any errors when attempting to send text and if so what errors?
3. When did the issue start?
4. Are you using tha stock SMS application or a 3rd party software? -

I've reset, deleted email account, recreated email account. I can receive emails but can't send them.
Try a refresh on your e-mail account. Go your e-mail screen, where the account is listed, and long press the account name. A box will open with several choices -- press refresh. This may solve your problem.

Use the correct credentials. If you are sure they are correct, contact your e-mail provider for help. The problem is not on the phone unless you have set something up incorrectly. The mail server is rejecting the ID / password combination you supplied.

I have no idea what may have caused your MacBook to stop working, but from your description it kind of sounds like it may have started before you ran Software Update and installed the new Apps. Just the general slow feeling and bugginess is what tips me off. You said that you weren't sure if you had closed all open windows, that doesn't matter if the computer restarts itself. It automatically closes all other open applications when restarting.
As to your data being retrievable, if when you take it in they do a fresh install of the OS, then no, it will not be unless you want to pay several thousand dollars to a software retrieval company.
I am glad to hear that you have taken into the Apple Store to get it fixed, and that you have all of your purchased music backed up to your iPod. You should be able to just transfer it all back to iTunes once you get your computer back should it be necessary.
As a side note, the proper place for this topic would probably in the MacBook forums, not iTunes since there is no evidence that iTunes started the issue. -

Well, it appears that your backup is corrupt, thus causing your issue. So, you'll have to restore as a new device, & not from backup. Follow this by syncing your content back to your phone:

I have tried to send photos through text messaging and it will not send. I thought my iPhone 3 was giving out so I got my iPhone 4 last night and still can't send photos through text message. What is the deal??
Also MMS is supported on a carrier by carrier basis. While mostly every carrier does support ths feature make sure that your carrier allows this functionality.

how do you unlock your ipod..we have tried different passcodes and now is is saying to plug into itunes...guy at the apple store said to plug into itunes too...

I followed the steps detailed on the help page for resolving email issues with Hotmail (Live.com) did everything listed, followed all the steps, still can't send email, Ipod touch STILL says account information is incorrect (it's not) what now then???
Can you access the account on another device?
Have you tried when connected to another network?
Have you tried deleting the account from the iPod and reentering the settings since it is easy to make an error. -
I just updated my iPad to iOS 5 and now can't send email- I have tried the obvious but no luck. Any suggestions?
Usually 'authentication required' means that you need to submit a username (or e-mail address) and password to the e-mail server, when sending a message. This logic is not different between Outlook and Thunderbird, and even with the latest and previous version of Thunderbird.
Of course you can try the previous version again to see if it solves the problem, although you'll be less secure because you would be missing the latest fixes.

Hi Anyone, I am trying to get my images from a dreamweaver built website to show in the browser as a pdf, so it can be printed out easiler by people. Do I have to put a pdf file on to web server for each image, to be able to get a pdf to show and pri
