Hi, first of all i'm sorry for the language, i'm not english...
Anyway, i have a little problem with Mail:
I use an account of Gmail to write mail to my university,
and i don't know why and how, but my prof always respond me using another account of gmail,
that I use with my other classmates...
Why it appens? How it is possible?

You probably have 2 separate gmail accounts with separate login id and password, but you probably have only 1 gmail outgoing server. Gmail will change the email address you send from if you use the other account's outgoing server.
You can fix that 2 ways.
Easiest way:
In Mail's preferences, select each gmail account, make sure you have the correct outgoing smtp server selected in the list for that account, and check the box to use only that server for that account. Make sure each account has the correct smtp server with the correct id and password.
You can also go to the gmail site and access settings. I believe it's under the accounts tab, or maybe under the POP and Forwarding tab. There is a setting you can use for Sending Mail As where you can add the second account and make settings on how the address is handled when sending mail from a different account.
If you do this, do it on the main account. And you might want to also do it to the other account.

ITunes settings reset with every new version, and I get: "...the information on the iphone is synced with another user account"

Windows 7 64-bit with MS Outlook 2010. I've seen this now probably 10 times. When I first installed iTunes, I selected:
Preferences -> Devices -> "Prevent iPhonse, iPhones and iPads from syncing automatically".
and on my iPhone, I selected:
Info -> Sync Contacts with: Outlook.
Info -> Sync Calendars with: Outlook
Info -> Other -> Sync notes with: Outlook
This works great, and the settings stick. As soon as apple releases any new version (even minor) of iTunes and I install, I immediately receive: "...the information on the iphone is synced with another user account", and have to merge my calendar and contacts, but then once I get into iTunes, I find that ALL of the above settings (prevent syncing, sync calendar, contacts, notes) get reset and are turned off! I am running as a user account with Admin privaleges, but I don't right-click -> "Run as administrator" when I perform the iTunes update.
To reiterate, once I change the settings back, things work normally until the next iTunes update at which it gives me that sync error, and resets my sync options.
Any idea? Thanks!

Create another user for the PC with your name, and try syncing that way.
This way it wont conflic with the other user.

the only thing I did was change my password on Itunes store via the computer (because it won't remember it since 10. upgrade!)

Dear Tien,
If I understood correctly a Business Partner is both a vendor and a customer for your client and I guess they want to write off the credit and debit with this Business Partners instead of using payments.
This is possible using a manual Journal Entry, however if you have open documents after you should reconcile the documents with the JEs.
However, I do not know if this is allowed in your customer's country. I would suggest to consult the accountant before carrying on.

On your iPhone go to Settings > Store.
Select the Apple ID at the bottom.
Select Sign Out at the menu selection provided.
Follow this by signing in with your new Apple ID/iTunes store account.
All apps - all paid and free apps include DRM protection which is tied to the iTunes account that was used to download the apps. In order to install an app update for the apps downloaded with your previous Apple ID/iTunes account, you will need to use that account and password.

Both of my imap accounts stopped receiving email.

Both accounts quit receiving emails at about the same time. One on 5/28 in the evening. The other on 5/29 in the morning. They had been working fine for years. I deleted the password from one of them to see if this was an issue, but neither account requests the password when I restart TB. They both sit with an hourglass symbol without requesting pwd entry. I have sent test emails to these accounts. All of my POP3 accts are working just fine and my iPad can pick up email from both of the imap accounts. Is there something else that I should try to do?

never asks for a password. sounds like an anti virus issue. ie your anti virus is not letting the process of getting mail happen.

In Mail preferences under composing tab, check to see what you have for sending new messages from.
You can also check the account settings and make sure you have the correct SMTP server for each account and the correct settings for each. Also check the box to use only that server for the account so it doesn't switch to another accounts server without asking if there is a failure with one.

Mail.app sycs with one Gmail account, won't with another

I've searched throughout the forum and couldn't find anything (although a ton of issues with Mail/Gmail exist).
Today is the first time I've had an issue with Gmail connecting to Mail.app, however, I have two Gmail accounts, yet my main one will not connect. Here's the error message:
"+Logging in to the Gmail IMAP server “imap.gmail.com” failed. Make sure the user name and password you entered are correct, then click Continue. If the information isn’t correct, you cannot receive messages+."
I check my login/password, and it's correct. I can login to Gmail using Firfox and Chrome. My secondary account can receive and send in Mail.app, but nothing in the primary.
Anyone have an idea?

I just downloaded Thunderbird and tried to setup my primary Gmail account, and TB has issues logging in, saying the password is invalid, yet it's the same password that I use when I login in a browser, whatever the browser may be. Here's the setup window with the error, and anything else that may be relevant (I have absolutely no knowledge of mail anything; POP, IMAP, all that jazz is pure Latin to me):

Did you follow the instructions in the message and contact Apple, which you can do through iTunes Store Support. If Apple have asked you to contact them, then the issue can only be resolved by them.

No not bothered about sycing apps etc it is all about calendars and maybe notes. IN terms of how its done I just want it the easiest way and preferably so that if an entry is made on one calendar then it populates the other.
Thgius is beacuse I have my work diary on outlok, which I then link with my ical. I want to make sure that information is then shared with her.
