TS3297 cannot sign in to iTunes store

On my daughter's iPhone 4, she cannot sign into iTunes & App stores using the Apple ID. Each time she is prompted to sign in, we select "Use Existing Apple ID". The prompt appears with empty fields for Apple ID & Password. After typing in just a few characters of the Apple ID, the prompt disappears.
We restart the process from the beginning. The prompt is empty again and quickly dismisses before completing email address, let alone entering a password.
What's going on here?
I have Reset Network Settings, disabled Automatic Time settings, and reactivated. (all suggestions on Apple Support).
The issue started after updating to iOS 6.0. Her Music Library just displayed the iCloud logo and an empty progress bar. I disabled iTunes Match and reactivated it, but it still isn't working.

I am having the same issue. I have uninstalled all Apple programs and went as far as deleting all the Apple related items from the registery. No luck! Tried selecting and unselecting the proxy button, adding itunes web address' to my antivirus, made sure the firewall was not blocking itunes and tried turning the firewall and antivirus completely off. No luck!
It appears Itunes cannot see that I have an internet connection. Everything works on my laptop. Same antivirus and firewall.
Any Ideas??

    I get "unknown error occurred (0x80092013). Tried firewall and proxy settings, nothing is working. This is frustrating. None of the troubleshooting is working for me...All I want to do is connect to the Itunes store from my desktop.     I'm having the same problem.  iOS, Network & iTunes are up to date and working fine.  But the Apps update just says "Cannot connect to the iTunes Store".  I've tried everything I can think of, but still no go.  I've not done iPhone support before.  How do we get Apple to address the problem?

    The last 24 hours there have been some questions about problems accessing the iTunes store, so perhaps wait and see if things settle down.
    You could also contact the iTunes store support staff to see if something is wrong with your account:

    and they could also tell you if there is a general access problem going on right now.

    Remember, any purchased item from the itunes store is forever associated with the Apple ID used to buy it.  So when you get prompted for an ID/password and it doesn't accept it, then you are using the wrong ID.
    Go to Settings>iTunes and App Stores, be sure it's logged into the ID you have set on the iphone (since that one seems to be connecting with the right ID).  If you've done this, then you might wait a bit to see if the "cannot connect to .. store" message has to do with internet connections.

    Try connecting to your Mac or PC and using iTunes to sync your iPhone. Disconnect your iPhone after syncing, make sure in Settings>iTunes&AppStore you have your Apple ID and password entered, and launch App Store and sign in. It should work now, but do not sign out from App Store. There seems to be a bug that prevents us from signing in again after signing out.

    Applecare Senior Advisor Txx Bxxx (I have his contact info in an email he just sent) just confirmed with me that the problem people are having with the App Store not loading is an apple issue with there servers, ITS NOT YOUR IPAD so don't go restoring it!   It's not happening to everyone however but they are looking into it, its really hit or miss.

    Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
    This works for some users. Not sure why.
    Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

    I'm trying to set up Apple TV. I cannot connect to the Itunes store via ATV. Each time I try, I get an error saying:
    "Unable to Sign In - The Apple ID you entered couldn't be found or you password was incorrect. Please try again"
    I am also having difficulty accessing YouTube.
    I am able to connect to the itunes store via my macbook without any problems. I'm also able to download and view trailers and listen to music which have been synced.
    This is what I have done so far. I have done a reset, restored, unplugged and updated software. Still nothing. I'm connected to the internet using a Time Capsule without any added firewall software. Everything is apple and plug and play just isn't working.
    Any suggestions?

    I have recently added a Netgear DGN2000 router.......... checked all settings to no avail
    If i swap the router for an alternative internet connection (a gsm modem - it works fine!)... maybe same problem?

    I did notice that you said everything you have obtained you've legally bought.  Because if there was anything in there that you didn't buy with your AppleID but WAS purchased with another AppleID this will happen.
    If this is not the case their is a possible issue with your account.  Only reason I say this is because it's happening on both of your computers.  So both of them have the exact same library?  Do you have another computer you can sign into the itunes store that has none of your content on it and if so does it continue to happen?
    Have you tried un-installing and re-installing itunes?  Are you up-to-date on both versions of iTunes?
    If there is an issue with your AppleID you might need to contact Apple and get an RTA sent to SSE(Site Support Engineering) to troubleshoot your account.

    1) SignOut from Your apple itunes account
    2) Again Sign In Your iTunes Account
    And  you can turn off your wifi/internet from your iphone and again turn it on
