TS3297 i keep getting the error-5000 when trying to download my music purchases, it's says I don't have enough access privledges for this operation what can I do
I keep getting this message when trying to download music purchases on my netbook
error-5000 not enough access priviledges
Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.
Please note:
Some users may need to follow all the steps in whichever of the following support documents applies to their system. These include some additional manual file and folder deletions not mentioned above.

when I go into my Itunes now it tells me that " You don't have enough access privileges for this eperation" which is causing me other issues with buying my music too. These messages occur if permissions are incorrect on your designated music folder or on a folder inside your designated music folder. Permissions are settings that determine who can read, write to, or execute a file or folder on your computer. Every file and folder on your hard disk has an associated set of permissions.

I have a syncing problem. Error message stating that I do not have enough access privileges for this operation. Never had this problem before updating to iOS6

I've just downloaded Itunes 10 on my rebuilt laptop (windows vista) and when I'm trying to sync my ipod touch it gives the error message - "You don't have enough access priveleges for this operation". I'm connected my ipod touch to another laptop (running Windows 7) and it syncs fine. Any ideas on how to overcome this issue?

For a series of events my iPad is now in recovery mode but when i try to ripristinate iTunes says "There was an error downloading your ipad software.You don't have enough access privileges for this operation"

contacts ,calander and notes get syncronised but apps do not . at 4 stage above message comeIf you still want to sync your photos try this instead:
1. Go to the Pictures folder in the Finder window (Pictures usually appears under Favorites in the sidebar of the Finder window)
2. **Locate the iPhoto Library file and Right click on the file and select Show Package Contents.
3. Locate the iPod Photo Cache folder and delete it.
4. Try the sync process again, it should work.
** Sometimes the iPod Photo Cache folder is simply in the Pictures folder and step 2 is not necessary -

Are you logged in with administrative rights? Did you check your security software settings? Troubleshooting security software issues

Also why won't iTunes recognize my iPod Touch since updating to the latest version? I have a PC and can no longer sync my iPod bc it never shows up under devices.

Just got my computer back today, can access all programs. Only issues are in iTunes, iTunes Store, Cloud and match.
Cannot, dowload or purchase anything either.

I have had itunes on my computer for a while now and was working beautifully. I had a new printer installed by a tech guy with had to do something to windows 7 to get it to print correctly. Now itunes is acting up. When I try to download updates or sync with my iPad I get an error message saying "You do not have enough access privileges for this operation". Can anyone help?
I'm assuming you are synching to a Mac via iTunes? If so, you need to fix and reset your disk permissions using the Disk Utility app on the Mac.
